good4all: jazakumuAllahu for your responce, may Allah continue to be pleased with u.

ameeen! Allahumma ameen!

harmeenart: Then what really is predestination? Allah created us to worship him, therefore all our actions can either lead us to hell or paradise.

Okay....I get it now.One out of the many Shi'a creeds.A real big difference indeed. I don't even know how to start explaining with hadiths you already see as lies. May Allah save us from misguidiance. I rest my case.

ameeeen!!!

Sheykul Islam: OGA, NOBODY CAN DIE FOR YOUR SINS. EZIEKEL 18 VS 20

Gbaam! I even forgot to remind him of that.

Macelliot: I don't believe in reincarnation.
Jesus Christ is the ressurection and the life. The ONE sent by GOD to wash away the sins of the whole world.

I believe that on the last day, all dry bones shall raise to life, that is the ressurection.

@ bolded, did he said that himself ??

hmmm.. Interesting! Real debate here.

akins56: so there are beneficial and informative religious piece here and av been wasting my mbs in romance and politics sections, may allah(swt) forgive me oo

lol. Ameeen!

hmm.. Nice comparation Op. Good job.

OLAADEGBU: Men may list what they consider to be mistakes in the Bible. However, all Scriptures is given by inspiration of God (2 Timothy 3:16); every word of the Lord is pure. Therefore any seeming "mistakes" are there because God has put them there, and they are therefore not mistakes. In time, we will find that the "mistakes" are actually ours.

"The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. You shall keep them. O LORD, you shall preserve them from this generation forever" (Psalms 12:6-7).

hmmm.. Oh christendom! Luke didn't say he was inspired by God or holy spirit.

'' the word of God is pure'' of course the word of God is pure( and should be pure) that is why God won't go out of his divine wisdom to reveal to us 10 cases of inbreeding, for what? also see ezekiel 23.

'' seeming mistakes are there bcoz God put them there'' how? Why?? Why will God put them there?? To cast doubts in the minds of people? I don't understand.

'' in time we will find the mistakes are ours'' of course na! The mistakes are ours not from God. Men wrote the books, so men made the mistakes not God. But if truelly God inspired them( as acclaimed by many) then there shouldn't be any mistake or seeming contradictions. What God inspired luke is different from what God inspired mark or others on the same incidence. Read jeremiah 8:8

''psalms 12:6-7'' unfortunately christendom hasn't been able to preserve the word of God that is why we are having seeming/glaring contradictions, inconsistencies, various different versions and so on.

hmmmm... Harbiola1 ke na. Jazakallahu khairan!

oluafolabi: This question is putting the bible in a very tight corner though.

1) If there is no explanation for how thousands of animal species including microorganisms stayed aboard that small ship then it could imply that the story was just a jewish myth.

2) If the story is a Jewish myth, then it implies that the bible does not contain 100% true stories.

3) If a myth such as this is in the bible, how can we prove the efficacy of other stories?

4) Did the good 'creator' create another set of animals after the flood?

I'm suspicious though.

Why would OlaAdegbu want to put himself and the 'holy book' in a tight corner like this?

Lol! He thinks he is a super genius. Lol

IseOluwa777: You may just wake up one morning and realise you have been left behind if you think He cant come in 2014 or 2015. The bigger problem is that you may not realise it until its too late because of looking out for the wrong thing. Christ MAY come 2014, He also may not. But the odds He may not gets slimmer with the slew of specific events that may likely happen in 2014.

Isreal (the fig tree according to Hosea 9:10) will be 70 in 2018. Jesus said the generation that sees the fig tree begin to bud again, (Israel back in their homeland again..1948) will not pass till ALL (that includes antichrist reign and the start of Christ's physical reign on earth) be fullfilled. A twenty year old (minimum biblical age for going to war) man in 1948, would be 86 in 2014. Thats definitely pushing the envelope as the bible allots 70, at worst 80 as "the days of our years" in Psalm 90.

So we are already overdue. Now realising that the second 3.5 year ministry of Christ to the Jews by His two prophets of Revelation 11 must also be included, which occurs AFTER the rapture; when you count that out of 2017 -2018, you find yourself in 2014-2015. Now add other considerations to the mix- including the blood moons starting in April 2014, the pope's Israel visit in May 2014, Pope Francis being expected to be the last pope ever, and the end of the Jewish Palestinan peace negotiations in March -April 2014 plus US debt-ceiling battle in February 2014 and its potential effect on the dollar, you cant help but expect the main action to start in 2014 .

There are also other considerations I can not paraphrase now that land us in 2014 as the year to watch. It will be foolhardy blindness to say it cant happen in 2014- 2015.

bros, to cut it short, it won't happen! I repeat it won't happen!! you can quote me come december 31st 2014 and 2015. You are not the first neither are you the last to predict and fail. Many has tried and failed. Christ has told us '' on that day that hour knowest no man, not even myself nor the Angels in heaven'' and God knows best.

Joshthefirst: joker. You will not be taken seriously.

of course na!

ifeness: REALLY?!!!

lol.. Not really!!

mantraa: In answer to your questions,
All the animals were teleported to the ark location just before the flood and then teleported back to their original locations around the globe after the event.

To fit on the ark, all the animals were debigulated to a tiny fraction of their size, then re-bigulated when the flood was over, including some of the less sinful dinosaurs.

To account for the food and waste issues, all the animals were put in a state of suspended animation, this included all the salt water / fresh water fishes, whales, cretaceans, turtles and dolphins.

To account for the altitude and lack of oxygen, god created more oxygen for the planet so they could breathe and stay alive.

When the flood subsided, god siphened the water off the planet into space, creating the frozen ice asteroid belt and kuiper belt in the solar system.

Then he fixed the soil and hyper accelerated the growth of plants so that a dove will find a tree to indicate that land was nearby.

Remember that Yahweh is omnipotent, there is nothing he cannot do to make his ingenious and omniscient plan work.

hmmmmm... Nice explanation but how did you know??

OLAADEGBU: If an ungodly man refuses to humble himself and obey the gospel, and instead desires to build a case against the Bible, God gives him enough material to build his own gallows.

Typical of a reply from christians when cornered.

Sarassin: This is your presumptive opinion and amounts to no more than a howl at the moon.

One source my foot ! more pious rubbish from you. The author of Mark is the earliest gospel writer, the author of Matthew clearly drew on Mark as a source. Your Dr. Luke drew on Matthew as a source. Both authors of Matthew and Luke also drew on the common source "Q". Where is this perfect harmony ? The gospels of Matthew and Luke do not agree on the circumstances around the birth/death of Jesus, they agree on little else in between, and don't even get me started on the gospel of John.

Gbaam!!! Straight on point!

OLAADEGBU: The fact that there was no corroboration and yet we have perfect harmony only shows that there is one source.

No no. You sure know most of their accounts are not the same. If there is one source, then what this person writes shouldn't be different from what the other writes.

OLAADEGBU: God has turned the tables on proud, arrogant, self-righteous man. When he proudly stands outside of the kingdom of God, and seeks to justify his sinfulness through evidence he thinks discredits the Bible, he doesn't realise that God has simply lowered the door of life, so that only those who are prepared to exercise faith, and bow in humility may enter. It is interesting to note that the seeming contradictions in the four Gospels attest to the fact that there was no corroboration between the writers.

Ok, a case of everyone writing what he feels is correct right? and as such not from the direct source right?

harbiola1: This op is a good apologist.

Seeming Contradictions.

*Modified*

Lol

OLAADEGBU: Are there scientific errors in the Bible?

Of course na! Them no dey doubt am na!!

hmmm..Interesting op. Alright!!! the flooor is open to atheists. Do you buy it? Or is he correct??

*yawns* I dey one corner here dey watch.

Lol! All these prophets springing from no where don't have better things to predict. Will be waiting to laugh at the end.

Op your title didn't quite match your post.

by destroying what is already on ground? Anyway he needs to start getting his tactics and rebuilding right ELSE!!!, I don't need to say what will happen...

Op no source?? Anyway will be watching won't be different from others. Christ isn't coming in 2014 neither in 2015.
