Ravioli: You speak with so much sense.. Dem born you for December?? Asking for the fam
Ekpa Afrodoc na daddy (in all sense of the word, Lol) for this thread. We just seriously suffered a drop in quality contributions here over the months, na why Baba de camp more on the shekpite's thread.
pkasso: While we Today is te day Eruditor gets to pay one of his many debts. As we all remember, the man swore to literally eat his hand if Man City fail to beat Liverpool at the Etihad. Now I believe he is a man of honor and will keep to his word but his disappearance in the recent times is worrying.
Nevertheless, we await the result of tonight's game. In the meantime, make I go dey sharpen my axe
Eruditor no get hands again, you have to wait till the stumps grow out or you'll have to take the limbs alone. For someone so loudmouthed and foolishly cocky as he his, I won't be surprised if he wagered his hands all over the blogosphere. He probably wagered his own hands on Reddit, Quora, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and even 2go just as he did on Nairaland Where you want make e see hands again when e don already lose the two wen e get naaaaa
Call the Coroner (to the shekpe thread) There's gonna be a lot of slow singing and flower bringing if my burglar alarm starts ringing What ya think all the guns is for? All-purpose war, got the Rottweilers by the door And I feed 'em gunpowder, so they can devour
afrodoc2: To be fair, from what you just showed his positioning was wrong so he caused his own problems. What was he doing sooooo deep in his own half and far aes?
P.S I have not seen the goals myself so just going from your screenshot.
He believed so much in his own pace and decided to do a foolish thing instead of acting smartly. 10 times out of 10, a smart defender would try sell an offside. The Yarmolenko guy didn't even check his own run at all, he was just sprinting down at full pace, Antonio took about three to four touches before releasing the pass, Rudiger had all the time in the world to assess the situation but he was bent on a footrace. He killed himself but c'est la vie.
Khaytunechi: I know I've always maintained we should focus on ourselves and our games, but I can't help but hope for a 'positive' result from this evening's EPL games. I hope either of Chelsea or Leicester will drop points, I'll even take a draw from either or both. Our window for Top 4 keeps getting smaller with each gameweek abeg, make miracle happen today as per new month.
Didn't see this coming at all. We no play today but it feels like we won a derby. Things are taking good shape. GGMU
25tolife: so them come tell you say na so i be real life? Issokey. Mind ur B.
You be like Speed Darlington, yyou no de hear word. Been following this thread silently for months and shared the link with every teenage boy I know. It appears you've sworn an oath with recklessness and unguarded talks. It is the second half of the year, even if you are determined to remain reckless, I hope God will disappoint you and give you sense against your wish.
ChristineC: good win, let's hope for another against Bournemouth. these postulations no necessary.
Exactly, just one game at a time. I expect the coach to know Mn to tinker things up in-game if need be. But this team is dominant enough to dispatch 80% of the small teams in the league- which has been our Achilles' heel all season.

elampiro: Three points. Fight for top 4 stoll on. But I am not yet convinced that the dou of Pogba and Matic are our best combination midfield. They willwl in certain matches, but not sure they would have done as good as what with saw with Fred and Matic/McTominay before the break. I am not saying those ones are better, but I will be watching for more combination of midfielders in different situations.
How many 'high tempo' teams do we have in the league? Maybe 4 or 5 at most. Real Madrid's midfield would sometimes struggle against Barcelona and Atletico, but they would eviscerate other teams with so much ease. Matic- Pogba- Bruno midfield combination may not perform at 100% against few sides, but they would surely do well against almost all the small teams which we've found difficult to break down all season.
I will admit Pogba is suspect at ball recoveries, tackles and interception, but Kroos, Modric, Xavi, Iniesta, DeBruyne are CMs who were never known for any of such defensive qualities.
I want to ask you what kind of United team do you want? Do you prefer a 'compact', defensively solid team that finds it hard to break down opponents or do you want a United team that is feared because of the creativity and firepower and general quality of the team. We need to move from the Mourinho years, don't you think?
