Rashford can never be the striker Lukaku is, he is set in his ways, he shouldn't be leading the line for us if we're ever going to be serious competitors.
Defense is set a bit but we need at least a fresh pair of legs in that midfield. Fred is shaky, Matic is spent, Pereira is suspect, Tom is a prospect at best, na only Pogba fit stand tall. Midfield is where the battle is won or lost. And we're short staffed there.

No addition to central midfield yet so we're still here with Matic and Fred and Tominay (Pogba wants out),, just look at the other top five teams and let's have a reality check..
Unless Daniel James start blazing from day one,, we'd still see tired legs Mata @RW or the fooolishh Messe Lingod whose career stats is the definition of below average.. Lukaku leaves and Rashford becomes our first choice striker -- someone with an average of 14 goals per year since he turned pro..

Yet OGS is telling us about 'X-factor' and a 'smiley team',, I'm all for being optimistic but the facts on ground do not support whatever he's trying to sell us..

Ndidi needs to find away to be a key part of the set-up when they are playing in a very offensive fashion.

Also we are the only team with 4 forward players scoring 10+ league goals this season.. Yet our GD looks awkward..

CS no be added bonus but na big psychological boost.. If say we get better GD over Spuds we would be sitting 3rd right now -- which would have been a good look no matter how shortlived it'll be..

Our defensive output this season has been atrocious tbh.. But I won't pin it on the defenders and DDG alone..
There's a sort of laziness around the whole team.. They just seem to enjoy faffing around rather than be professionals..

I think our crop of players are the laziest among the elite teams in the whole world.. Their quality cannot be debated but their attitude and commitment is really really disappointing.. They never show enough hunger and sometimes it is like they just expect teams to roll over for them because Manchester United.. It's really disappointing -- only 2 clean sheets at home this season is not good at all..

I don't know what their problem is but if we are ever going to get to that peak again,, the manager needs to get pretty ruthless and go tough on these ninjas..
