Before Bisi Akande Administration in Osun we rented some buildings as Osun state Government House. Osun State Government House in Abere was one of the Bisi Akande's achievement in Osun.

After Bisi Akande a PDP Government (Olagunsoye Oyinlola) took over for 8yrs with no any spectacular achievement. instead syphoned all the treasury account of Osun state.

Ogbeni Aregbesola is the architect of modern Osun. Osogbo as the capital of Osun state before Aregbesola's Administration, Osogbo was like village even some villages in kaduna state were okay more than Osogbo in terms of settings, roads and infrastructures. Before no single an overhead bridge in osun but not today.

Thanks to Aregbesola he turns Osogbo to a modern city. Not only in Osogbo that Aregbe constructs roads and infrastructures. His good works spreads throughout the Osun. Builds modern schools in all local governments of Osun state. Many more.....name it.

Governorship candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) at the Osun State elections has written to U.S President, Donald Trump and the European Union (EU) stating the the President Buhari administration and the APC are harassing his supporters ahead of Thursday’s gubernatorial rerun elections.


In a letter distributed to various diplomatic missions, Adeleke stated that they had been threats to his life, he also complained of various infractions by the Buhari government including INEC’s refusal to declare him winner of Saturday’s elections and the arrest and killing of his supporters.


The letter reads:

“I am constrained to write this letter to intimate you, our diplomatic partners and friends of despotic happenings in Osun governorship polls which I won but for which I was not declared the winner. My life is under threat and leaders of my party are under siege before and after Saturday main polls.


“During the campaigns, we were subjected to countless attacks. I escaped about four assassination attempts. Our campaign vehicles were severallly attacked and our rallies disrupted. We went through the pre-election process under constant onslaught from political thugs and merchants of violence.


“Despite the violence prone climate, I still won the election. On live television, our votes were removed and protestations for re-addition of the votes were rejected. Votes for the ruling party were jerked up and again the electoral umpire refused to correct the arithmetical errors.


“After all the manipulations which saw about 4000 votes removed from my total votes, I still won by close to 400 votes.

“In a brazen assault on democracy, the returning officer in open breach of the constitution refused to declare me the winner even after fulfilling constitutional stipulations.


“The officer erroneously justified declaration of the election as inconclusive based on violence in seven out of about 3000 voting units across the state. It was a travesty of justice that is under challenge in court of law.

“Not satisfied with that rape of democracy, the ruling, APC immediately launched a coordinated manipulation agenda to rig the Thursday supplementary polls.


“Voters register of affected areas are been doctored; unclaimed voters cards are been shared out; massive vote buying are ongoing;and my supporters are been hounded. Democracy is clearly under threats.


“The agenda of the ruling party is to ensure that votes do not count. The target is to thwart the will of the people. The APC is out to subvert the will of the people ,an action that will have deeply negative impact on the sanctity of the electoral process ahead of 2019 polls,” Adeleke said in the letter.

There was drama at the Ward 7, Unit 12 Polling Unit in Adereti village, Ife South Local Government Area, as PDP agent in the ongoing governorship rerun election in Osun was missing on duty.

An official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Stephen Oyewande, said he could not explain why the PDP agent was not on duty at the polling unit.

Oyewande, INEC’s Deputy Director, Voters Education, told newsmen to direct their enquiries on the missing party agent to the PDP.

“Call the state chairman of the party and ask him why his party agent is not here. I can’t explain why he is not here,’’ he said.

Present, however, were Lateef Abimbola of All Progressives Congress, Olaiya Yemi of All Peoples Alliance and Rasheed Mojeed of Advance Congress of Democrats.

Also present were Adeyemo Gafar of Action Democratic Party and Bayo Shittu of Social Democratic Party (SDP), were present at the polling unit.

There was tight security at the polling unit while voters were prevented from bringing their smartphones into the cubicles.
Scores of commuters, especially those moving toward the Ondo end of the highway were caught in the traffic snarl due to the roadblock mounted by the police.

It is official, President Donald Trump is the laughing stock of the world. Or at least the world leaders who are attending Tuesday’s UN General Assembly.
Tuesday morning, as Trump attempted to pat himself on the back during his opening speech, he had the gall to say he has “accomplished almost more than any administration”. And in the words of Maury Povich, “The lie detector test determined that was a lie.”

It was that comment that sent laughter throughout the assembly and caused the dotard-in-chief to pause his speech.

As the crowd laughed, Trump replied, “I didn’t expect that reaction, but that’s ok.”
Well technically it isn’t ok. When you’re the so-called leader of a country, and you can easily lie about your administration because of your delusions, and a whole room knows you’re lying, it’s never ok. But this is the man our country is stuck with.

As the world laughs at Trump, the people of the U.S. will continue to suffer under his god-awful leadership. And that is no laughing matter.

The APC in Osun State has said it is certain of victory when the gubernatorial election rerun takes place on Thursday, stressing that the opposition various means of manipulating the curtailed.

Reacting to the PDP’s accusation of intimidation and thug attacks being planned by the ruling party ahead of Thursday’s decider, PC, Campaign Council for the Osun governorship election Media Committee Chairman, Alhaji Lai Mohammed,  pointed out that the PDP and its chorus singers have resorted to such flimsy and unsubstantiated allegations because defeat was now staring the party’s candidate in the face.

“The PDP and some of its top members have accused INEC, the police and other security agencies as well as the NYSC of all sorts of things.

“They have made allegations of thuggery and rigging against the APC. None of the accusations has been substantiated. If only the party had invested its energy in preparing for the election, it may not have become so jittery.

”Unfortunately, the die is cast and the PDP has seen the handwriting on the wall, hence the party’s slip into the panic mode.

”On our part, we have confidence in the various institutions saddled with the responsibility of ensuring a successful election in Osun State. We have no need for thuggery or rigging because the people are solidly behind us,” Mohammed said in the statement.

The candidate of the Social Democratic Party in last Saturday’s election in Osun State, Sen Iyiola Omisore, has said that he will only pledge his support for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ademola Adeleke, in the Thursday’s rerun of the poll if the party satisfies his conditions.

The election was declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Sunday because according to the commission, the difference between the two leading parties, the PDP and the All Progressives Congress, was lower than the number of the votes cancelled.

After the collation of all the results from the 30 council areas of the state, Adeleke of the PDP had 254,698 while the candidate of APC, Gboyega Oyetola, polled 254,345.

The candidate of the Action Democratic Party, Moshood Adeoti, scored 49,742, while the candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Fatai Akinbade, scored 7,681 votes. Omisore scored 128,049 votes. Adeoti left the APC while Akinbade defected from the PDP to contest in the election.

The INEC said the rerun would take place in seven polling units located in Orolu, Osogbo, Ife North and Ife South council areas on Thursday.

Omisore becomes a bride to the two parties because most of the polling units fall within his stronghold. His father, Oba David Omisore, is the ruler of the Garage Olode, a town in Ife -South, where elections in two units were cancelled.

Speaking during the visit of the PDP presidential candidate, Sen Bukola Saraki, to his home in Ile-Ife on Monday, Omisore, who also dumped the PDP after a disagreement over the party’s primary for the election, said that as a stakeholder in the state, he was always after a people-centered government.

Omisore said, “I have given my programmes to both the APC and the PDP. My programme is like this; payment of salaries and pensions. Good governance is what is important to me.

“Anyone among the two that will do that will get my support. I am passionate about Osun State and my interest is the welfare of the people of this state. I have told those sent to me. At the appropriate time, we will tell you where we are going.”

Meanwhile, Saraki, who is also the Senate President, told journalists after his meeting with Omisore that he (Omisore) had agreed in principle to support the PDP in the rerun of the election on Thursday.

He said, “We had a fruitful discussion with Senator Omisore. He used to be with us. And we believe he is helping us now. I am optimistic of a good outing for PDP. After meeting with him, I am more optimistic now that with his support, the PDP will win. We are confident of a good outing. I am more confident now.”

Senator Iyiola Omisore, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party in the Osun governorship election has been the target of attack by PDP supporters on Twitter.

And he has also been praised by supporters of the All Progressives Congress for helping their candidate, by default.

The PDP sympathisers are blaming him for playing a spoiler and giving the APC candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, a decisive advantage over the PDP candidate, Ademola Adeleke.

In their calculations, Omisore has taken away the votes that ought to have been won by the PDP candidate, who according to unconfirmed reports, is trailing the APC candidate, from results from the 30 local councils being collated.

Omisore proved he has a solid home base when he thrashed all the other candidates, by winning his polling unit with 166 votes, leaving the APC, PDP and to scramble for the remaining 60 votes. PDP only scored nine votes at polling unit 3, Moore ward in Ile-Ife.

He went on to win his Moore ward 11 by polling 2663 votes, while the APC candidate won 706 votes. The PDP candidate came a distant third winning 342 votes. ADC got 26 and ADP 145 votes.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Friday finally give a hint of it recent visit to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, saying the encounter would go a long way towards cementing diplomatic relationship with the international community.

The IPOB delegation was led by its deputy leader, Mazi Uche Mefor on September 14, the same day the pro Biafra group remembered the victims of the invasion of the home of IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kany at Isiama- Afaraukwu, Umuahia in Abia State.

Although, the group said it was not at liberty to divulge every detail of what transpired during the encounter, stated that the world had officially been placed on notice that IPOB, as a movement, was determined to carve a separate existence for the people of Biafra, comprising South East/South South, away from Nigeria.

A statement by the IPOB media and publicity secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, said it was the first time in the post war history of Biafra that the leadership of any group, movement or people met with the United Nations face to face to discuss the issue of Biafra.

The statement read: “It was a historic encounter that will go a long way in cementing the diplomatic credentials of IPOB in the eyes of the international community.

“It was the very first time that United Nations had the opportunity to host Biafrans to a meeting and it is only appropriate that we appreciate all those working tirelessly with our diplomatic team based in London to accomplish this feat.

“We commend the Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra (DOS-IPOB) under the leadership of Mazi Chika Edoziem, who accompanied our deputy leader to the historical meeting.

“The historic encounter with United Nations officials in Geneva has opened up avenues and opportunities for further engagement between IPOB and relevant UN agencies on the burning issues of human rights violations by the Buhari regime and enforcement of IPOB’s universal right to self determination.

“With this meeting satisfactorily concluded, IPOB has gone where no other group of leaders before it dared go to. It will forever be recorded that for nearly 50 years and for the very first time in the history of Biafra, an interface was facilitated between representatives of the people of Biafra IPOB and the United Nations.”

The organization, however, regretted that the Kanu family was denied representation at the meeting because the Swiss Embassy denied the family entry visa to Switzerland.

A Nigerian Pastor identified as Pastor Glory Idahosa, has been accused of abandoning his wife, Christabel Idahosa, in Canada and marrying a lady he introduced as his sister to his estranged wife.

The Nigerian pastor who was said to be jobless for most part of the marriage which produced 5 kids – 4 girls and 1 boy, returned to Nigeria with his wife and kids 5 years ago and introduced them to one Splendour Patrick, he claimed was his younger sister.

However after opening a church in Canada with the help of his wife, it was gathered that the couple’s marital crisis got heightened after he returned to Nigeria in 2016 to open a branch of the church in Nigeria with money given to him by his wife and the church in Canada.

Pastor Glory Idahosa who stayed in Nigeria for months after he was given N2.8million to open the new church, returned to his family in Canada months later with the excuse that he was busy working to help the church pick up.

It was gathered that the Pastor who returned to Nigeria in June 2018, claimed that his mother died and he needed to return to Nigeria urgently and he needed to attend to some family meetings and look into the progress of the church in Nigeria.

However the Nigerian Pastor returned to the country to marry Splendour Patrick, the lady he introduced as his sister. It was further gathered they already have two sons who look to be about 5 and 3 years old. The sad act was busted last night by his wife, Christabel, who saw her husband’s Facebook page being updated with wedding photos.

While the lady who remained in Canada with their children not suspecting anything is said to be in agony, the Pastor has been dragged after his first wife’s family exposed his infidelity and he proceeded to block his in-laws on Facebook.

Pastor Glory Idahosa has also been called out by his church members in Canada who told him to close down his church in Canada, after disclosing that they’ve been trying to call him when he was gone for long but he never picked, only to discover on social media that he took another wife.

Recently, the same prophet made his church members drink Dettol, claiming the antiseptic liquid will heal their sickness.

From my interaction with the opposite gender, I've come to discover there are three types of feminists.

1. The women who work hard for everything they enjoy. They rarely do freebies. They're icons in their professional field. They are a product of the school of Amazonian thought. Strong women, you may call them.

2. The women who have been abused and have experienced a dark, dark side of men. Their views will never change and would even abandon rational thinking just to take side in a gender related dispute. A lot of them are usually bisexual or gay. If you gain their trust, they are amazing friends.

3. The attaches. They have no idea what feminism is. They want gender equality but want a man to open the door for them. They preach gender equality online but in reality they're asking a man for a 'favour' on whatsapp. These women are very cheap. They claim to despise men but depend on several men for their upkeep. I fear these ones.


Whether you agree or not, every self acclaimed feminist falls into one of these categories.

Elders of Amosu community in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State have ostracized and banished one of their sons, Prince Faith for allegedly joining the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to terrorize and engage in violent agitations.
The community was said to have clamped down on Faith not just for his activities with the agitators for the independent state of Biafra, but for allegedly being a homosexual, a sexual orientation considered to be taboo among his kinsmen.
One of the community elders, Chief Chikezie Anyanwu, told our correspondent that agitation for Biafra was not a solution to the problems of Igbos or other ethnic groups that were allegedly being marginalized and discriminated against in Nigeria.

A youth leader in the community who pleaded anonymity accused Prince Faith of being a deviant who was not only involved with a violent group but was committing abomination by having amoral relationship with a fellow man.
He said “He is a disgrace to our community. Our elders repeatedly cautioned him to change his ways because it is a crime in our country, as Nigerian laws prohibits same sex relationships. In spite of this, he continued and never gave up, bringing shame to our community.
“Prince Faith was caught red handed in his room with his homosexual partner identified as Samuel and they were beaten in the King’s square after which they were locked up. Prince Faith was arrested on May 1, 2017 and he disappeared on May 2 2017 and we have since been searching for him.
“We reported his escape to the Nigeria police who promptly declared him wanted for committing a crime and for belonging to IPOB which engages in violent agitations.
To demonstrate the seriousness the police attached to arresting the IPOB members, they have also put a bounty on their heads to encourage members of the public to expose the fugitives “.
A youth group in Imo State, “Oganiru Imo”, had consistently taken a hard line against members of IPOB, led by Nnamdi Kanu.
The President of the group, Comrade Bath Azunna said “We will not allow anyone to toy with the sovereignty of the Nigerian nation because our strength lies in the unity of the country. Anybody agitating for Biafra or supporting secession must be chased out of Imo State.

Senator Iyiola Omisore, the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has lamented on his opponents incessant rants on Bola Ige’s murder and then associating it with him to get sympathy from electorates in the coming Osun election, Guardian reports.

Omisore, who restated his earlier position that he was not the killer of Ige, said deliberate effort by his political detractors to nail him over the death of the former minister would not fly because he and other suspects stood full trial in court and were discharged and acquitted.



He called on the Federal Government to find those who murdered the ex- legal officer of the federation in cold blood.

Omisore spoke on Sunday in Osogbo during a debate organised for some governorship candidates by the Channels Television.

The SDP candidate, who made an impressive outing during the debate, urged the populace to read between the lines, saying those who were afraid of his popularity often raised the issue of Ige’s death during election in which he is involved.

He accused the ruling government in Osun of financial recklessness, saying he would stop some alleged white elephant projects, including tablets of knowledge and mega school buildings, if elected governor.



The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, disagreed with Omisore over allegation of financial recklessness, saying Osun finances were being properly managed.

Oyetola clarified that continuity of Aregbesola’s programmes and policies being used as a plank of his campaigns was to ensure the citizens enjoy more of infrastructure, new school projects, security and other laudable projects by the administration.

The governorship candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP), Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, promised to review some programmes by the administration considered to be inimical to the wellbeing of the people.

On his own, the candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Alhaji Fatai Akinbade, said he would revisit the contracts awarded by the current leadership in a way that would make more funds available for state obligations.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke, was absent at the debate.

Lagos Governor Akinwunmi Ambode reportedly broke down in tears and he's been in low spirits since the day he picked up the APC governorship nomination form, a source at the Lagos State Government House in Alausa disclosed to Pulse.

Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu has emerged the handpicked candidate of APC kingmakers in Lagos, and he's been anointed the preferred candidate to unseat Ambode during a primary election exercise slated for September 29, 2018.

Ambode was very sure of a second term in office before a dizzying spate of events in September made him sink into his office chair in agony, on occasion.

Two former Commissioners in Lagos, Obafemi Hamzat and Sanwoolu, picked up their respective nomination forms on the day Ambode was acquiring his, throwing the race for Lagos government house open.

Ambode in a battle for his life

The APC in Lagos will go with the direct primary system as opposed to the indirect primary system.

In a direct primary, all members of the party are allowed to choose flagbearers ahead of general election. In an indirect primary, only select party delegates are allowed to vote.

If Ambode had been in the good books of godfather Bola Tinubu or other power brokers in the APC, an indirect primary would have been settled for and he would have been handed an automatic ticket.

"The fact that they are making him go through the primaries with other aspirants in a state like Lagos, shows you that they want to humiliate him", Prince Abeng, a political pundit, submitted.

One top ranking official in Lagos State government set-up told Pulse that Ambode’s mood swings are now more frequent than there have ever been and that the governor isn’t holding back the tears.

“We saw him shedding tears the other day. He even drove himself out of government house, something he’s never done”, the source disclosed.

Pulse was also told that Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike rang Ambode to offer him the PDP governorship ticket in Lagos.

Pulse has been unable to independently verify these stories from our sources, as neither Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ambode, Abib Haruna nor Commissioner for Information in Lagos, Kehinde Bamgbetan, picked up their phones.

An email sent to Bamigbetan on the intrigues in the politics of Lagos APC, has also not been replied, days after.

Moody and dejected

One aide in Alausa, the seat of government in Lagos, describes Ambode’s mood these days as “crestfallen, somber and a tad dejected”.

When Sanwoolu formally declared for Ambode’s seat on Sunday, September 16, 2018, all of Tinubu’s loyalists in Lagos, including Senator Gbenga Ashafa who represents Lagos East in the upper legislative chamber, were in the audience to cheer him on with chants of “incoming, incoming!”

Sanwoolu enjoys Tinubu’s backing and is being galvanized by the Mandate Movement—a grassroot assemblage that answers to Tinubu.

All 57 council chairmen in Lagos have also endorsed Sanwoolu who promised to restore work on a 25-year masterplan once he is elected.

Ambode resumed duties as Lagos governor for a first term in office on May 29, 2015.

Muslims in the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurum, Delta State, are being denied their Allah-given fundamental human rights. This is as a result of the insistence of the institution’s Vice Chancellor to disallow Muslims from observing Jum’ah prayer on Fridays.

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) raised this alarm on Monday in a press release signed by its director, Professor Ishaq Akintola.

The Islamic human rights organization complained that the Vice Chancellor of FUPR, Effurum, has refused to allow Muslim students and staff to attend the Friday prayer. Efforts to persuade him via communications and dialogue have not yielded any tangible result. The first semester examination time table was not Jum’ah-compliant as examinations were fixed without any consideration for the Jum’ah period.

“We are miffed that the VC claims that he cannot allow Muslims to go to mosque on Friday ‘because Nigeria is a secular country’. This is a most preposterous claim. It is outrageous. It is incredible. We don’t expect ignorance at the apex of a citadel of learning. Nigeria is not a secular country. It is a multi-religious country. Secular countries do not recognize religion but Nigeria does. Or can the VC show us the word ‘secular’ in the Nigerian constitution?

“No Vice Chancellor has the right to hide under a phony secular society to stop Muslims from observing Jum’ah prayer. By the way, the VC does not allow Muslims to go to the mosque, but won’t he go to church on Sunday? Won’t the Christian staff and students also go to church on Sunday? What right has the VC to stop the Muslims from attending Jum’ah service on Friday when he and the Christian staff and students go to church on Sunday? Isn’t what is good for the goose also good for the gander? How can secularism mean freedom for Christians to worship on Sunday but oppression and persecution for Muslims on Friday?Are men and women of good conscience listening?

“Here lies the hypocrisy behind the usual claim of secularism in Nigeria. Christian fanatics use it as an excuse to cheat Muslims. They get all they want but they don’t want their neighbours to have access to the same thing. It is the height of injustice and anyone who pursues an unjust policy is not looking for peace. Justice is the soul of peace. Nobody can deny one and enjoy the other. Justice and peace are inseparable.

“It beats our imagination that the Vice Chancellor of a federal university will challenge Muslims to present any official document from the federal government that makes provision for Jum’ah services in federal establishments. Universities are expected to be centers of excellence, we are therefore shocked that gymnastic religiousity can manifest at such level of intellectualism.

“We are constrained to ask, ‘Is this VC aware of the provision for freedom of religion in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? If he is not aware, has he cared to consult his university’s legal department? Is the VC aware of the existence of Muslims in this country? If so, has it not occurred to him that by accepting the post of VC, many of the staff and students under him will be Muslims? Does he want to remain VC of Christian staff and students only to the detriment of the adherents of other faiths? Has he travelled outside Delta State to observe what obtains in other places or is he an armchair vice chancellor?

“The Vice Chancellor of FUPR has failed to realize that this is a federal institution. Even if it is a state university, are we supposed to persecute any religious group in an academic environment? Academicians are expected to know better, to pursue objectivity, to lead by example and to shun all sentimentalities.

“All that should be of interest to a Vice Chancellor is whether or not his staff are performing their official duties and whether his students are learning. He should create an atmosphere conducive to the pursuit of knowledge. No more no less. But things will start going wrong when the head of an institution begins targeting a religious group for oppression”.

Akintola expressed serious concern for the welfare of Muslims under the VC of FUPR. “How can the Federal Government entrust the lives of Muslim staff and students to a biased Christian VC? We have every reason to doubt that Muslims can be safe under this man. We have every reason to doubt that Muslims will receive fair treatment under him.

“MURIC will continue to expose religious bigots in public and private institutions and enterprises who deprive Muslims of their Allah-given fundamental human rights. We will not fold our arms while some religious fundamentalists deny us what Almighty Allah has given us free, more so since such rights are already guaranteed in the constitution of our country.

“There can be no excuse for disallowing Muslims from attending the Jum’ah prayer every Friday since Christians are not faced with such a challenge on Sundays. We will take every necessary lawful measures to resist this oppression of Nigerian Muslims by Christian extremists”.

As usual, MURIC seized the opportunity to connect the incident to the need to declare Friday work-free. Akintola said, “This constant persecution of Muslims on Fridays underscores the need for the Nigerian authorities to pay attention to the Friday question once again. Friday must be declared work-free like Sunday and the earlier the better. The oppression of Muslims by Christian bosses on Friday will come to a halt once Friday becomes free.

“It is interesting to note that our organization has been investigating this Friday question since 1994. Experience has shown over the years that it is only Christian fanatics who disallow Muslims from attending the Friday prayer. Some Christians are very understanding and accommodating. There is no place in the world where people do not know that Muslims observe their special Jum’ah service on Fridays while Christians observe their own on Sundays.

“It is high time these fanatics were made to realize that Muslims are not a minority in this country. We will not allow the oppression of Muslims in any part of the country to go unchallenged. This is likely to cause friction from time to time. Those who cherish peaceful coexistence should therefore leave Muslims alone.

“We will cry out if you oppress Muslims no matter how highly placed you may be and nobody knows the extent of the heat that will be generated or where it can lead to. Oppressors of Muslims should therefore take notice. Even without being violent, even while we use lawful means only, MURIC will give you no peace. It is a digital world so there will be no place for you to hide under the sun. Yet this will only happen if you deny Muslims their rights. Those who oppress Muslims should therefore be seen as enemies of peace.

“However, we assure Nigerians that we are most willing to embrace a robust relationship with everyone. We believe that religion should bring people together no matter the differences in the mode of worship. It should be humanity first. We are therefore prepared to coexist peacefully with our neighbours. The only proviso is that they should respect our right to freedom of worship. We should all live and let live. Worship and let me worship.

“As we round up, we call on the Vice Chancellor of FUPR, Effurum, to allow peace to reign on his campus. Let the Muslims go. Stop all forms of religious persecution. Allow the Muslims to observe Jum’ah service. We advise him to run an inclusive administration in the interest of peace and harmony. Other heads of public and private institutions in the country are advised to take a cue from this. Let us make our country a land of religious harmony as we all can never belong to the same faith”.
