There was slavery in New Jersey, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut, all Northern States.

White people did not fight the Civil War to end slavery, they could careless about the slaves, the war was fought to prevent the South from leaving the Union. Ending slavery was a by-product of the war.

The North knew the only way to stop the South from leaving was to financially break them. Slavery made the Southerners rich, ending slavery would ruin them.

Even after the war was fought and the North won, only the Southern slaves were freed in 1863, those Northern slaves were freed later. Texas held on to their slaves until June 19 1865, "Black Americans Independence Day" but in reality slavery in the US still existed until the 1960s

The other day I had to ask my girlfriend for some cash because I was short of cash and needed to pay someone for a work done. Of course she gave me but her attitude changed from that day onwards even as she tries so hard to mask it. Respect dropped and she cared less unlike how we were before I borrowed the money from her. I’ve never been stingy as I always showered her with alerts.. I purposely decided not to give give back the money shaa so as to observe her reaction to it and from the look of things it doesn’t look good.

PS: Our relationship is 3months old and this is my first time of seeking financial assistance from her and it’s little money.

So ladies how do you feel when your boyfriend borrows money from you and don’t give back??

There's absolutely nothing wrong with a woman helping her man out with some cash if he gives to her as well but if you borrowed it you should pay it back, not paying her back makes you look bad.
