How long have you been designing boss. These are top notch designs here. |
So, I'm kinda curious. How did you come to know about Nairaland? OAra: |
FutureDecisions:Wait. I thought he's engaged to Adeherself |
Lmao. Lemme narrate my own experience About 4yrs ago, I and my friend were walking along a road in our area and this lady approached us. Within a few seconds of introduction, she offered us a job with good pay in a company at Anthony. We thought it was a way to make some cash before post utme began since we were still jambites so we agreed. Fortunately for my friend, something came up and my friend couldn't go so it was just me. Me self dress up cute, carry CV dey go there. Just as I got to the bus stop, na so rain start, I had to seek shelter under one shed like that. I was even getting scared I'll be late for the "interview" cus of the rain. I had to enter the rain like that so I crossed the express with rain beating me mercilessly. She told me to call her once I got to UPS but mumu me thought the company she was referring to was UPS so I entered and sat in the reception for almost 30mins. Under AC, cold wan kill me. When she eventually called back, she asked me to come outside and led me to the right place. I was already having doubts at that point and I was very very right, we entered and as I saw the arrangement, I knew it was GNLD. They used my sec school for meetings after school hours so I was already familiar with them. I couldn't cry, my phone even got spoilt as a result of the rain and it was all for nothing. Coman see other people who were misled like me looking lost, one man in suit was so upset he left before they finished, you could tell he was suited up for what he also thought would be an interview. Those people have no life abeg. |
Iamdbull:Boss, shey na your house the studio dey abi na somewhere else? |
Johnnico1:Start with LCredit Oloruburuku la won people yen |
Ola17:I think we're almost at the point meeting each other at the middle with our views. You can get a particular commodity which gives you value for a price but it not necessarily at a price which reflects the true value. The iPhone took the world by storm and offered features second to none as at when it first came out, the iPhone 6 is the best selling phone (if I'm not wrong). Many people have stayed loyal since as it offers the best possible features in a phone but also cus of the feeling of exclusivity. Many people want to be different from others, apart from the crowd, hence the rush for it whether they can afford it or not. Can you mention up to 3 features on the lastest iPhone that isn't on a less priced premium Android? One gives you value for money, the other gives you value but at a price greater than value offered. |
Ola17:Do you also represent the opinion of the 1billion iPhone users then? Cus you're just one person. I also bought a Pixel2xl and when I sold it earlier this year, I got over 70% back. Premium Samsung phones also have a good resale value, so that's not even an issue. My advise to you and other iPhone users ; there are far better Androids out there than the shit Tecno and Infinix serves us here, get updated. |
OtunbaBlack:Nah, you can't tell me you've seen Android 12 on the Pixel and say it's behind. At the least, they are on par. Mind you, there's a difference between overall smoothness and animations, a phone can can seem very smooth and operable based on animation but actually isn't Not the iPhone tho and definitely not the Pixel, they tick both boxes very well. Most androids might be ages behind the iOS (mostly cus of the open-source nature of the Android which means every shit phone maker can make one) but the very best Androids match the very best iPhones. |
Ola17:I would give you 2 names, prolly the biggest names in that area of things who both use the iPhone as their daily driver and they've echoed the same sentiment. iPhone gives premium features and services but are usually overpriced. |
OtunbaBlack:Have you seen Android 12's smoothness, beauty and elegance? Second to none. These stereotypes are always based on yesteryears and never on the present. PS: when I'm talking about Android 12, I mean on Pixel and Samsung cus those are the embodiment of Androids especially Pixel. Every other one are just there |
Ola17:Nah bruh. Value for what?? Everything you've noted is arguable but not this one. The iPhones are always always overpriced. They offer premium features but not worth $1000 especially these ones in recent years that are just recycled year after year. Dope phone but never value for money, and if you think I'm spewing nonsense, go on YouTube to watch review videos. |
