Dear Mr president,
I know my name doesn't ring a bell
Or the story behind my existence is for close few to tell
I know you've seen and heard of better poet
But won't it be wise for you to sit down a give me a listening ear.

I'm the man who has lost it all
The son of the father who doesn't believe no more
The father of the Child who's so familiar with ways to suffer
I'm the brother of the siblings who threw hope to the gutter


I'm the neighbour of the woman who lost a child
I'm the comforter of the beggar who cries at night
I'm the tribesman of the family who's suffering from hunger plight
I'm an indigene of the land where people shoot on sight

Dear mr president
I come from a land recently clouded by bloodshed
Where the pangs of fear loudly resides
Where no one can really predict what next
Where the chains of injustices boastfully presides.


I come from a land where people are exploited and misused
Where humans are oppressed,beaten and abused
I come from a place where they have a tongue but can no longer speak
Because the last time they did they were killed with no remorse.

Dear mr president
I come from a empty land filled with many people
Where darkness governs in a space that should be filled with light
Where everything and nothing has refused to work
Where misery, pains, anguish roams in front of us.

Dear Mr president
I came from a land where you promised to protect me
Where you promise to give me a hand on days I lagged behind
Where you sold me your ideas and got my hope re-ignite
Where for once I thought our bleak days will be a history forgone.

Dear Mr president
It's been seven years since you promised to treat me well
I don't want to say you failed, maybe you forgets all You said
My fear is that you may think this letter came too late to be worked on
But,can you do kindly passed this to your next successor
