Thank you bro

They've repeatedly said I'm fine,
But how could I rebuff their claims, when the thought their words keeps drawing a smile,
But deep down I'm at my lowest lows
But how would they believe when tears seems to have betrayed my eyes.

I wonder if I'll ever get all the basics things I lack,
But I hear them say at least they are many you are better than,
Would they ever understand that our dreams are not alike,
And even if it was,am I being ungrateful for asking for a better life.


I think I've tried,
But they said what is the essence of my strive, when I fallen short of their standards,
Sometimes I want to argue that they are not right,
But they'll say look at my rich friends, their strive brought all they have.

I know I'm tired,
Deep down I wish I had died,
I don't know why I'm being treated like that,
But I think my only sin is being alive
