NB, we had all possible proofs for home tie, land and all.

I contacted mp's office, they said they will contact them for reconsideration.
I have given up on Canada immigration, they just do whatever they please.

Am not ready to reapply anymore, this is the 3rd refusal.

I contacted some lawyers who said based on my temporal status, no rights was violated and the visa applied for is only a privilege.
Others charged me an exorbitant fee to process the appeal, the laws do not permit me to process an appeal without a lawyer.

I intend to try elsewhere, I will move over to Europe where I will comfortably live with my family, the shit over here is too much, they can't break my home because of visa, not possible!.

IRCC refused her application this morning after 11months.

Its just as crazy as it can be.

Does anyone know the process of appealing a visa decision?
I will definitely fight this one.

hello everyone,
so I got London's reply to my mail today saying their records indicate that an incorrect validity date has been input on my worker visa counterfoil and that they suggest two options;
1. to use the present valid visa to Canada and apply for extension (inserted the link) or

2. re-submit my passport to Lagos vfs for a reissuance valid till 2020 (they will not cancel the present visa but will send new passport request letter till i reply the mail with my choice)

Pls advise....

P.S. I have booked my ticket for 2nd week next month though daughter's passport is still not ready for collection but her profile has been update and her validity date is till 2020

This all depends on you and the plan that you can hatch.

A one year pgd is equivalent to a 1yr PGWP.
Now the facts:

After school, you have 6 months to apply for PGWP
When you apply, you get 1year PGWP.

That's a total of 1.5years.

The good news is that, if you study the Manitoba Provincial nomination [/b]system properly, you will be able to get EE through them easily.

I personally believe the [b]1.5year above is enough to put together a perfect application for any of the express entry stream.

Better still, find Aboriginal babe marry, chop PR immediately ��...(Just kidding)

My hubby’s SOWP was declined today saying he showed no proof that institution his spouse is attending is a DLI institution. A friend applied for this SOWP for us and I am not sure he included my Admission letter showing my school’s DLI number.
What can we do now? I am thinking of going with him to the nearest border with all our documents showing school admission letter and fees paid. Re-applying online may take another 12weeks. Kindly advise.

If your hubby is already in Canada, there is no point applying again...
You guys should go to either Niagara or blue water bridge (Sarnia),(if you are in Ontario) you will get the work permit safe day.
You basically will do what is called a "flagpole" at the US border.

NB: Ensure that your documents are all complete and that you meet all the requirements, because flagpoling can go wrong, that leaves your hubby in the middle of nowhere.

So do your due diligence properly.

If your program is already completed, look into the "in-demand" occupations in any of the Atlantic cities, find a job, once you are successful at being hired, it should be easy moving forward.

Got my study permit in Oct 2018 and landed in Canny in Dec with my family. Got TRVs at point of entry. Applied for SOWP immediately and waiting. My permit is for a year cos it’s PGD. I need to do take another course to qualify for PR. Can you advise province to consider for next course which can speed up PR process? Ontario seem saturated and not favorable for international student conversions for 40yrs n above.

It all depends on the facts of your situation.
If funding for your program is not an issue..
Atlantic Canada is cheap and easy to get PR.
But if you have to work to survive, to pay your fees and all that, I advice you stayed in Ontario, the jobs are here.

Again, you can start off school in Atlantic Canada and do summer hustles in Ontario, many do this.

As per PR.
You now have 6months after education to apply for PGWP. And with a 1year program, you get a 1year permit, in my guess, 1.5years is more than enough to put together a good application for EE.

But again, a 2years program is safer.

Your funds determine your choices.

Thanks Fam, am quite hopeful and praying to God. I am actually going to secure an appointment for medicals today. I have the conviction in my spirit, testimony is close.

It quite unfortunate that cic has no valid explantion for the unscrupulous delays in May applications. SOWP applications filled from Nigeria are sadly the slowest in the history of mankind. However, the consolation is that in the Long run, it usually turns out to be a successful.
My wife has been on the system for over 9months now, since May 28, 2018. I have explored all options, calling cic, corresponding with local MP, I even have gotten correspondence from the PM's office, sadly, all I get is: "your application is still under active review", office is currently operating out of service standards. Its a horrible experience, but God yet lives. Its a hard and tough call, but am confident we all will win in the very end.

Or a regular open work permit?
This helps to understand your case and why they are rejecting you on LMIA grounds.

I would like to think the same, you will need to add your spouse educational details and his profile in other to make it an SOP exempted from LMIA.

God married to my wife who only has a post graduate work permit on 6th February, 2017.
1st SOWP application submitted on 1st July, 2017, disapproved on 22nd December, 2017 based on my partner NOC.
Applied for visiting on February 15th, 2018, disapproved on 27th of April, 2018 based on "not enough ties and travel history".
Partner changed job to NOC required, applied for SOWP using a consultant on 26th October 2018, PPR alert gotten today.

PPR alerts are in the neighborhood, for all expecting, yours is next,

Some time ago i was here to ask for help on how to go about my application. Unfortunately no one gave me hints or replied my messages and somehow my husband and I managed to submit my application on 25th July 2018. Over time i kept coming back to view peoples comments and activities but I got really discouraged by their experiences of several denials and became faithless towards my own application. But as God will have it, been that He is still God, on 27th November 2018 I was asked to redo a new medical since the previous one i submitted had expired(this medical was from 2017). It took me 2 weeks to do a new medical because i was still in doubt and i had just did a new medical for our PR application which was also ongoing at the time. I dint see the need to waste money, so i sent a mail of the new medical to IRCC(this unfortunately was going to take a longer time to get to them) this made my husband i and have minor issues but i eventually did another medical with the form sent to me and 3 days after, i got another mail that my application has been approved and i should submit my valid passport for stamping. Passport was submitted on 14th December and 31st i collected my passport back. What a way to begin the new year, all thanks to GOD.

Work permits are processed at the border and given to the applicant same day...one hour max you stay there to get it..
The question is..how do you get to the border

Visitor visa is not as easy as it sounds, you need to have a strong travel history to be able to attempt visitor visas.

For those saying Indians have high rate of sucess...why won't they??
They bring their wives and obey the law...
They have a reputation and are upright in their activities..

Sadly, not all our brothers on this side leave us with any reputation.
We occupy the list in asylum claims, we marry sisters and claim them as wives just to bring them here, we do all sorts of things that create suspicions about us as a people, I don't blame immigration so much...if only our leaders were not so messed up..what does Canada actually have that we are coming for?
