Seeing gov Okorocha weep at every occasion, including in Abuja, these days, resurrects pity for him, baby politician.

How could a state governor build nearly every thing he considers good only in the state capital and his village in eight years?

Imo state by now should have been proud to show off Orlu as another model city in the state, but for Okorocha's grudge against Orlu and its people. Orlu is more cosmopolitan a city than Owerri if the roads linking the many urban sprawls in Orlu area are built.

At so many junctures, notables cried out from Orlu before gov Okorocha to at least complete the roads he scrapped in Orlu, if nothing else. Okorocha refused till today.

At every cry raised by Orlu, Okorocha would rather answer with embarking on another grandiose project in Owerri, including 6 Inland roads, multi-storey car park, federal police and prison headquarters, road tunnels and ultimately, the last desperate ditch for a 1000 Bed Mother and Child hospital to stiffle the uncompleted and yet to be fully equipped university teaching hospital at Orlu.

Mind readers can't read what is in someone's mind. If so, Orlu could not have made Rochas Okorocha governor. Yes, without the massive and highest number of votes from Orlu to Okorocha at first ballot in 2011, he could not have qualified for supplementary election against Ohakim.

Okorocha shall live to regret his grudge against Orlu

Contrary to what you wrote Okorocha actually spread development to both Okigwe and Orlu as well as most villages in all 3 zones. He just didn't invest in media hype while his opposition concentrated in exaggerating what he has not done or where he erred. If I mention what he built in Okigwe zone it could be up to 500 verifiable projects projects including roads, schools, hospitals, ICT centers, markets and more.
Why are you now hiding your NL moniker, Abagworo, if you truly believe that Rochas did well as governor, spread his government's development projects to Okigwe and Orlu zones on a just manner?
For seven years, you continued to place Owerri developments online and tag them Imo state development.

You were warned that your principal, Rochas was threading on injustice and what shall amount to his political downfall. You refused to tell Rochas,.

FYI, Rochas tactically destroyed every govt development project, including Imo state University teaching hospital, stadium, Imo international market, he met in Orlu. He even scrapped roads in Orlu and abandoned them till today.

Rochas Okorocha's dream to represent Orlu in the Senate is a pipe dream. Take this to the CBN.

APC Abuja said many of Okorocha's acts as governor of Imo state are embarrassing to APC as a party. That's true.

If they show you the equipments now you'll say is inferior or you find another fault. I don't know what Rochas do una
What Rochas did?

No governor since governance began on earth did about 96% of what he believed are development projects in one locality, but let the rest of the area he was governing to decay.

Two factors: 1) because governor wanted to show off in State capital, then hide away the funds that should have gone for development in the whole state.
2) the governor has an immense grudge against one part of his state, in governor's senatorial district.
No pipe borne water in Imo state.

Floods wreck Orlu whose people live on dilapidated roads. Rochas deliberately destroyed existing govt development projects he met in Orlu in 2011.

Why can't Rochas be jail-bound for being a con man in Imo govt house?

Who approved Free Mother and Child hospital Owerri?

Not Imo state House of Assembly, not people of Imo state.

Hospital is most expensive infrastructure to run.
It's not enough Rochas Okorocha's empty building called hospital aimed by him to finally suffocate the state University teaching hospital.

Imo must complete its first tertiary health care project of University teaching hospital started since 2002, before embarking on Okorocha's wild goose chase of Free Mother and Child hospital - a name apparently coined by a semi-literate man.

I disagree with your assertions. Listed below are some of the federal projects attracted by Rochas Okorocha to Imo State

1. Nigerian Airforce Quick Response Group Base in Owerri

2 Nigerian Police College of Finance and Administration Ideato

3. Three military and One Police Federal hospitals
So State governor builds projects and gives the completed projects free of charge to federal government, as are the Okorocha govt projects you mentioned?

Gov. Okorocha who did nearly all his government's development efforts in Owerri, destroyed every govt development project he met in Orlu, but now wants to represent Orlu zone in the Senate, he made Nigerians look at him as a craze man.

If the south decided to split from Nigeria now, what use is Fulani's advancing army of herdsmen, Boko Haram and bandits? Fulani can't last one week of fight to recover one Nigeria it wants to colonize

Lesson is that Ihedioha even as a legislator attracted a federal development project to Imo state.

A pot bellied humpty dumpty we mistakenly elected governor in 2011 did not attract any significant federal development project from his ruling party.
He was rather using our federal allocations to sponsor federal projects, because he wants to be seen as good presidential material.
He couldn't even provide Imo with essential projects like water supply. He uprooted many of the huge pipes of Owerri water supply, perhaps including Okigwe's.

Gov Okorocha:

builds 27 General hospitals to be well equipped,

wastes billions of Naira to demolish and clear debris at Eke Owerri.

spends billions of Naira to establish similar market along the major highway at Egbeada Owerri

spends billions of Naira to build a gigantic iron and concrete block he calls hospital at Eke Owerri, without approval or appropriation of the state House of Assembly, without consulting people of Imo state.

He adds more buildings to Imo Specialist hospital Owerri.

All these after Okorocha carefully and deliberately suffocated the state university teaching hospital Orlu, where IMSG had spent billions of Naira to establish since 2002.

Nigeria to Produce Agricultural Machinery Soon ― FG

By ADEMOLA ADEGBITE | ABUJA On May 20, 2019

THE Federal Government will soon commission Agricultural Machinery and Development Institute (AMEDI) in Mbotu, Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo state.

Speaking when he visited the Institute at the weekend, the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu disclosed that the institute would design and produce agricultural machinery for farming, planting, processing, and harvesting of agricultural produce.

In a statement by the Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations Unit of the ministry, AbdulGaniyu Aminu, a copy of which was made available to the Nigerian Tribune in Abuja, on Monday, Dr Onu further said the institute was established in order to ensure food security in Nigeria.

According to him, my visit to the institute is to enable me to assess the level of work in preparation for the commissioning.

“The institute is not for actual production, our interest is for them to do the design and do the necessary research so that the commercialization will be done by the organized private Sector.

“If we involve our businessmen and women all over the world, the level of commercialization will be much higher. We would not only be in a position to produce this machine to be used locally in Nigeria but also for our export.” He added.

He described the past situation in which Nigeria was the highest importer of rice as unacceptable, adding that “today we are doing very well, we are importing very little and producing rice in abundance though we still need to produce more”.

Dr. Onu stressed need to mechanize our agriculture and introduce lot technology and innovation that will make agricultural processes to be very stress-free and competitive.

“We need to train our people, boost agricultural capacity if we have enough people who have this capability to design of machines, we would be in a position to start exporting some of these machines,” he added.

Dr, Onu further disclosed that the workshop of the institute is 80% completed while the administrative block is at an advanced stage, adding that the equipment is available in Mbutu and will be installed as the building is nearing completion.

Earlier, the Director-General, the National Agency for Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Professor Muhammed Haruna, who was represented by a director in the agency, Mrs. Nonye Onyiyechi said that institute was established to boost agricultural production through mechanization.

She expressed hope that with the visit of the minister, the project would be concluded before the end of the year

https://www.tribuneonlineng.com/212968/
If Dr Onu finally pulls this instititute through, its multiplier effects like jobs and more food, can't be far-fetched. The institute becomes the first significant gain of Imo state from APC federal government since 2015.

First place to go for voting and result disputes after election is the Election Petitions Tribunal.

But Gov Okorocha raced to a High Court first to pray the court to order INEC to issue Okorocha with a Certificate of Return.
