I sympathize with you but be composed in your next step. Let me give you one instance why you should follow-up with the agent. Not to claim a refund BUT to clarify on the application.

If the agent did apply (which I doubt) and mentioned that you have a sibling but you actually have two. It could also be you saying no previous refusal but you were refused and the agent didn't say so. If you "re-apply" and state that you have two siblings, or you were never refused, those are discrepancies which could cost you a 5-year ban or worse.

That is why you should be aware of what really happened. The best case situation is that no application was actually lodged then you can start on a clean sheet.

Take this with all seriousness! A chareback must have been done in your application. And if you used an agent, he is 90% responsible for this. I have seen 2 people who got 5 year bans each due to this. Please take it with all seriousness and ensure the 235CAD is paid. If the agent says he has paid it again, ask for a receipt. Do not allow any agent complicate your problems!

Please I would like to know if someone can apply for study permit (PGD) without part payment of school fees. In other words, is part payment of school fees compulsory before submitting application.

Please note; the school has already sent a conditional offer of admission. Below is the content of the letter;

"Dear ......

This letter confirms that you met the provisional admission offer for the post degree in ......offered at the unversity of winnipeg ...

Met Admission requirement form - use this document for your application to IRCC for a study permit. Pleas consult with IRCC to determine if you can apply for a study permit with a provisional letter, or you should wait until you receive an unconditional offer"

This is rather sad yet painful. You will need to hire the services of an immigration lawyer resident in Canada and as you should know, lawyers abroad charge per hour. I would advise you do not correspond with cic yourself on this case. Check humansqaud.ca and chat them up to see if they can refer you to a lawyer over there.

Also check Ogayemi law firm, they are an immigration lawyer but rather expensive. Whatever your decision, you will have to bring closure to this case cos it will always arise whenever you have to apply to any other country.

How can I get a student copy of my transcript and use it to apply for admission in Canada. I do think that most schools in Nigeria do spend transcript direct to the school instead of giving it to the student. Most schools in Canada requires the submission of the student copy. How do I get it?

I received a mail on 16th May telling me there was an update on my application but I couldn't notice any major update when I logged in to my portal. Hello Lianna2020. Congrats on your PPR. I read on the UCW website that IELTS is not compulsory if English was the language used in the Uni l graduated from. Please why do l still need the IELTS for the student visa application. I just got an offer letter at UCW for MBA and I have paid the tuition fee for Oct intake. Though I am yet to start the student application, l foresee IELTS may be an issue as there is limited time for me to study and write the exam. Do you think my PPR will be ready before October. What do you advise.

You can book from wakanow, most travel management companies have deal codes given to them by airlines which further reduce most fare on their website hence the reason you are seeing it cheaper from Wakanow.

Already did biometrics for my tourist visa .
Background check started immediately.
Eligibility review started 13th of May .
1 ghost update last week.
Correspondence letter dropped May 26 .
PPR dropped 10minutes after same May 26.

This company is nothing but garbage. I tried purchasing dollars to make a payment and the equivalent was deducted from my account almost immediately. I also received an email from them stating my transaction was successful. However on my app, it said my transaction was not successful and I will be refunded. This was on the 21st April . I was told my account has been refunded. Today is the 28th of April and there has been no refunded. Never again.
