Do you love counter threads? So do i
1. Being too dramatic: men are equally as sensitive as women (although most don’t show it) but women often take it overboard. Plus they hardly ever express their sensitivity for good, mostly for evil – crying to get something from him, throwing a full scale tantrum because he came late etc

2. Asking for money: now I don’t know who started this trend but women see relationships and marriages as emancipation from poverty. Women feel they are entitled to money from their boyfriends. And guys compound things by obliging them (I know a guy who used to pay his girlfriend monthly salary). Sounds far-fetched but its true.

3. Asking about their appearance: how is my gown? Does it match my shoe? Am I getting fat? Bla bla bla. Are you visually impaired? Abeg wear anything jor (as long as its decent) lets go watch a movie.

4. Being selfish: when it comes to flexing (shopping the suya and leaving the onions) you hear “but im the woman na”, but when it comes to paying t.fare, you hear “but you’re the man na”. His money is for the two of you while your money is for you alone. You better change o.

5. Idolizing themselves: one afternoon, I had to take one girl outside, point to the sky and say, “you see that shiny thing up there, the earth revolves around it not around you!!” If she happens to be a fine girl, then she is a goddess and must be treated as such. If she is light skinned, ohhhhh, that means she no dey shit. Mtcheeeeww… if I hear, fine girls are a dime a dozen.

6. Pouting to take a selfie: ohhhh, how partly hilarious, partly annoying! Tilting your head, hands at akimbo, forcing a k-leg, just because you wanna snap! Hia! Try the statue of liberty pose next time

7. Playing games: women love emotional games… reverse psychology, silent treatment, creating unnecessary tension for the fun of it, just name it! If only you knew how much it annoys us.

8. Telling us how to drive while driving: they don’t usually do this to a fellow woman, only God knows why. Drive, you wont drive. Let him drive in peace, no you wont. Please learn to shut up and let him drive. The contrary is irritating.

After NYSC, they're still disturbing the girl's life with "oh baby, wait na, I have something to tell you" lol...You wan preach the Word of God?
I'm not saying you can't stop a girl NICELY to share your affection.
Make sure you're just not pursuing her. Be mild in your "desperation"/ pursuit.


3. He doesn't do things to attract unnecessary attention.


I believe, only kid-boys do this. They shout and yell but when you get closer, NOTHING!
SOME open "CONTROVERSIAL" threads, so to speak, just to attract "CHEAP" attention. NO! That's not the way!
A big boy is himself but his best self.
He strives hard to be better.
In NL, for example, if you don't always make FP, find out the skills and don't try to think that being "Controversial" will get you FP. That's a MIRAGE!

4. He has his own money

It may not be in millions yet but at least he has a stable influx of income. This ish led tallesty 1 to open a thread regarding why BROKE GUYS SHOULD NOT DATE!

No Big boy lives on friends or others!
He may ask but he doesn't depend on you.

5. He is Financially responsible for the upkeep of his girl.

If you're "privileged" to have a girl who loves you, buying her things will just be natural.
Small boys are the reasons we'll be seeing threads like "DO I GIVE MY GIRLFRIEND TRANSPORT FARE EACH TIME SHE COMES?"
You may bash me but I don't care! If she is not just a sexxx doll to you but a potential wife, transport fare isn't a topic!

Your lady might wrong you and still expect an apology. Stupid right?

7. He tries hard to fulfil his promise.

If you made a promise to her to take her to the PROMISE eatery on Saturday. Try to keep to that. Even if it becomes impossible, sincerely assure her that you'll make it up to her and really do make it up.
