Benfica about to sell another midfielder for 90 to 100million. They are the only Portuguese club making these kind of sells constantly.

🚨JUDE BELLINGHAM BEEF WITH HIS TEAMMATES

Sources from The Athletic reveal that some England players were very annoyed by Jude Bellingham’s promotional campaigns carried out by Adidas and the desperate attempt to portray him as England’s hero and star, which is why he has only one close friend in the squad, Trent Alexander-Arnold.

• The actual rift began due to the “Hey Jude” Adidas commercial on the eve of the Euros, which some England players considered disrespectful and diminishing to them by portraying Bellingham as the sole star of the team.

• Team leaders Kane, Walker, and Rice had Bellingham’s name added as the fourth captain of the team before the Euros.
However, Bellingham’s leadership did not extend beyond being a media announcement, a decision that displeased many players, including Palmer and Gordon. Many players do not respect Bellingham and mock his motivational speeches as a leader.

They believe that the media and Adidas are inflating Bellingham’s image and that he does not possess these leadership qualities at all.
So basically the rest players were jealous because Addidas was promoting their star player.

It's called an "average" law for a reason meaning there would be outliers on both sides, but for the most part the majority would fit in. There's a reason Harry Kane's case is attracting attention because it is an anomaly.

For every Harry Kane, you have Messi, Pele, De Lima, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Iniesta, Xavi, Henry, Lampard, Gerard, KDB and even CR7.

You really don't get it do you. To a Football coach, two goals and 3 assists means 5 goals for his team. Whether the 5 goals come from a single or multiple players is secondary. To an athletes' coach, 2 gold and 3 silver medals remain 2 gold and 3 silver medals. Big difference.

Pep is right. But when you have a player who only does the hardest thing, while there is another who does both the hardest thing and the second hardest thing consistently, pray tell who would be considered more effective by this same Pep Guardiola?
Harry Kane renders your made up average law useless. Messi doesn't have more trophies than Ronaldo just solely on his individual ability. If it was solely on individual ability Kane wont have zero trophies while someone like Vardy is on 2. They are many factors contributing to a players trophy count. It's weird you will even bring it up when it's irrelevant.

We can all play your games. If 2 goals and 3 assists means 5 goals then 2 gold and 3 silver means 5 medals. You have actually not added anything new to the argument. Assists and goals are not rated the same likewise gold and silver in the Olympic. Why are you arguing against such a simple thing.

ThierryJay:
And your first paragraph is completely flawed. The dynamics of an athlete's performance perception which is mostly individual is completely different from that of a football team. The analogy is so ridiculous.

A football coach will prefer a player that gives 25 goals and 20assists to another that gives him 30 goals and 2 assists because based on the law of averages the player with the 45G/A performance will tend to create more overall success for the team than the 30-goal player. It is no coincidence that Messi has won the highest number of trophies over 895 goal Pendu because over time amidst the highs and lows, this law stands true.

Top scorer is a matter of goals, but most effective player is down to overall impact.
Football team is also down to various individuals. The analogy fits perfectly. Goals and assists are not rated in the same level of importance likewise gold and Silver in Olympic events.

A football coach will pick players that are more effective for his style/ brand of play. If a coach system requires a pure goal scorer that's what he will prefer likewise a coach that wants something different willl also look for what fits his system. Another flawed logic once again. You are really having a field day. How does Harry Kane with zero trophy fits into your law of average.

There's a reason Guardiola said putting the ball into the back of the net is the hardest thing In football.

ThierryJay:
Naah, get this straight. The aim of a football team is to win matches.

You win the most matches by getting your team to score goals and preventing your opponents from scoring. Any player that contributes most to these critical success factors will be recognized as the best.

A player who scores 20 goals and created 20 assists will be considered better than one who scored 25 goals with 3 assists, because the former has helped his team achieve 12 more goals than the latter.

A player who consistently prevents other teams from scoring or having scoring opportunities and by so doing gives his team the platform to win most games and even trophies is often considered more effective than one who just scores goals that takes his team nowhere.

The first reason is why Messi is hands down better than Pendu. The second reason is why Rodri is the Euros MVP ahead of Gbarry Kane & co and his team rarely loses when he's on the pitch.

Y'all reasoning is why Ronaldo prefers to score a goal while his team loses than the other way round. The GOAT would never do that cos that can never make him the best.
This logic is so flawed. First of all goal and assist don't carry the same weight. An athlete with 10 gold medal and 2 silver at the Olympic is not rated lower than another with 6 gold medal and 10 silver. Have you ever seen a golden boot race were the person with lower goals but more assists is crowned as the top scorer?

Your last paragraph is even more ridiculous. So Ronaldo likes to score if his team his losing, but Messi will rather not score if his team is losing. You all need to chill and spare us all these ridiculous takes on Messi and Ronaldo.

On this topic, In recent memory I’ve been in both positions: as the biller and also as the one getting billed.

As at 2014, I was a student in Uni broke as a joke without a tip in my cup. Would call my uncle who was an Oil worker in PHC and he would send money but with increasing resentment and aggression. At some point, I decided this was not feasible anymore to beg 3 weeks for 5k and still receive insults on top. I started looking for any hustle I could do:

- I did scholarship applications for Niger Delta youths.
- I worked as a factory hand in the evening at a pure water factory.

I even landed a web design gig through someone I met on Nairaland. Then started writing paid articles and all these helped pad my CV like mad when I was out of school and needed to find a job.

A month ago, I sent my uncle a token of appreciation. If he never "cancelled" me, i would still be a brokie and a dependent. Mental dependency is a disease.

Make Ibime relative hustle, hustle no dey kill young man. Ibime may actually be hampering him by being charitable even with good intentions
I feel like you are getting the wrong impression. Just because that young man gets financial assistance from ibime doesn't mean he is not hustling as well.

Foden is not a winger yet that's where he was deployed throughout. The only time Foden was effective (at least) was when they switched formation that took them to the finals

When they reached final he stupidly switched formation again
This is the first time am hearing Foden is not a winger.

You all are bringing unrelated instances. Here's a similar case that happened here and no one was held liable. Both cases were ruled as accidental drowning.

the school principal, a teacher and the owner of the vending machine are in jail awaiting trial

i will ask you a simple question. if ifeanyi had died in this manner in a school swimming pool, who would be liable?

you would be calling for the head of the school proprietor

Davido built a swimming pool in his house and did not put in place measures to block it off. he hired an inexperienced village girl as a child minder. his house is not so much a home as a frat house

he is out of the home most of the time.

you can always search parental liablity child death if you want more clarity

if imade had been staying on and off with davido , it is the same way she would have stumbled into that pool

major accidents NEVER happen in isolation. they are ALWAYs preceded by minor incidents. but negligent individuals fail to read the signs and act accordingly. what makes it worse is that this has happened before, when dbanj child died in the same manner. you would expect a parent with sense to have learned from this and put all precautions in place if a swimming pool is a must . note the emphasis on parent with sense.

if i wanted to be extra mean, i would have said ifeanyi was an inconvenience for him. what stops me from carrying my pikin with me on a social visit? the visit to the ooni was social.
Here's a better example to use. Buccaneers linebacker Shaq two years old daughter drowned similar to davido In their swimming pool and it was ruled out as an accident with no one charged.

https://people.com/parents/shaquil-barrett-daughter-dead-drowning-pool/

Let's assume you left your child with your mother/sister/Maid ( something you have done numerous times) and went off to work or an occasion only to return and the child choked or fell and died does that make you a bad parent and a bad father responsible for his death? That's basically what you are doing with Davido. He left his child in the hands of 8 maids whose sole job is to take care of his child and they failed at it. If you take your toddler to day care and something tragic happens who will be held responsible. The daycare or the parents?

She's just being thick headed. Davido has every right to have access to his daughter and her bringing up ifeanyi tragic death at every opportunity paints a picture of her being a bitter soul. It's a joint custody case not like he is trying to take the child away from her so I really don't understand why she's willing to deny the child access to her father because of a beef between them.

she is absolutely correct

if davido and chioma could not take care of ifeanyi, you think they can take care of imade?

if davido was in a western nation, he would have been liable for the death of ifeanyi

davido is not father material. neither is chioma

parenting is not posing with your children on instagram

the fact that imade is a girl makes it worse.

davidos house is constantly full of lost boys who are not ready to grow up. any of them could be a child molester
How?
