Birth Alert!
My prince charming made his grand entrance today, Sunday, November 21, 2021 at exactly 8:45 am.
12 hours of labour. 3rd Child. It was only God's grace.
Still tired for now.

Present Cappo, waddling tire me. However, I had to talk to myself to take it off my mind. My previous babies came before now. I don't know why thisond is taking a lot of time. However, it's better to have a healthy baby and smooth labour, that's my only compensation. Lol!
Team November, well done all. Congrat to those that were able to escape EDD, I want to be like you when I grow up oo.

1.5kg isn't too small at 32weeks, this is the time baby start gaining weight. You might even end up with more than 3kg.

Sorry for my plenty questions… person wei dey ask no dey loss and I no wan loss..��

Went for ultrasound yesterday @ 32 weeks.. I have fibroid but ultrasound said it’s small and is not posing any risk to baby..
but they said the baby’s weight is 1.5 kg which is too small.
Is it something to worry about??

Also please who has taken epidural before.. what’s your take on it?

Well, I ate a lot of dates (6 per day) from 37 weeks, ate pineapple from 37 weeks as well. I also did one vigorous baby mama dance for 30 mins on the afternoon before I entered labour the following morning. My water broke naturally and on getting to hospital, I was already almost 6cm dilated.
Dont also forget the God factor. Baby will come on God's perfect day.

Birth story
The BFP was a miracle to behold as MIL was still telling me to get pregnant again after my first daughter. Fortunately, i got pregnant that month. It was a mixed feelings. The pregnancy symptoms was quite different from the first, so i thought in my mind, its definitely a baby boy. The first trimester was full of vomitting and nausea especially when i smell something. The second trimester was quite easy easy, while the third trimester was full of leg pains. My EDD was July 21, but i was expecting lo very early since my first daughter came in 38wks plus. I was already bothered like habbeyoluwa. I'm meant to coach a presentation at work, but i prayed i just gave birth before the date as i'm just too heavy to even coach the rehearsal. 39weeks gone, no show, nothing nothing, only braxton hick contraction that come and go whenevee it likes. Eewww. I made up my mind to do the presentation for the upcoming party on wednesday and also attend the party. The party was a bit stressful, and i left the party arena around past 7 in the night on Wednesday, July 17.
A colleague of mine dropped me at the bustop but unfortunately, there was no tricycle to take me to mg destination. I waited and waited but to no avail. However, my first daughter is still in school, my husband is around the house area but no key to enter. I started trekking, i trekked a disstance of 100naira. And i felt a heat wave from inside of me. Although, I've been eating constant pineapple for 4days now. I called hubby that i'm feeling uncomfortable that i will soon be at home, so he shouldn't watch the Nigeria vs Tunisia Match at the game center. I took my daughter from the creche aand we met at home. I noticed the contraction started again, i started working to and fro for one hour while my husband watches football match. When it was 10:30, hubby said we should go to the hospital as we don't have a car. I told him, we will go in the morning if the contraction persist. He warned me that he wont leave the house in the midnight. By 12:00, the contraction still persist. I told him, we should go to the hospital. I had to back my toddler daughter on my contraction. We called taxify/uber, none was available. We decided to get Napep by walking to the nearest bus stop to our house. Napep were declining claiming they are done working, another contraction came in and i told my hubby i'm gonna throw our daughter away if he doesn't carry her and she's fast asleep, mind u, hubby carried my hospital bag. A Napep man saw me and emptied his passenger immediately, the Napep got me to the hospital.
On getting to the hospital, the contraction disappeared again. I told the doctor that i'm okay, that should just allow me to rest that its only braxton hick contraction. I got to the hospital past 1, the doctor checked and i was 6cm gone. Ewwwww!!!. I was so happy, lo is finally coming, i was put on drip to increase the shanku dance, my water broke around 3:00am and i was vomiting and pooing at the same time, at the third poo, the baby's head had already crowned and i was taken to the delivery room to push, but the baby head wasn't coming out. I tried pushing until it came out, the shoulder no, it took time to come out too. I birthed my lo around past three, placenta came out 3:30am. No tear, the delivery was smooth and swift.
I thank almighty Allah for mercy upon my life.

Even me, i have been having braxton hick every night which subside whenever i go to bed. I'm really tired.

Part 2

Went for my Antenatal which happened to be my EDD, ran another scan and saw that the whitish part had increased and surrounded the placenta.. He suggested he induced me with castor oil, I accepted and took castor oil around 4am on Thursday, I stooled like never before, walked around the estate, danced yet no contraction.. Around 10am DH took me and packed my bag straight to the hospital, when we got there, I was examined. Baby din't move, very unusual as my baby is super active.. Was told to take lucozade boast and within 15min baby started kicking well. For the fear of unknown, doc decided to admit me.
Doc suggested I take a full bottle of castor oil this time, I took it friday morning 12am along with 3oranges.. I prayed for God to show himself, and grant me a swift delivery. Around 2am stooling started, 4am I started contracting then by 5am I stood up only to see my water had broken. I used pad, and saw mucus and blood also, I was examined and was told I was 2cm.
8am, they came to pass me a drip, see me still forming fine babe. I never knew the drip will turn me into something else, I spoke in tongues and did loads of things I can't remember, but MIL teases me with it. By 11:20 I was moves to the FAVOR room, i was already weak as I could not eat a thing. I felt I would vomit if I do..
I was almost gone cus of the weakness, but I forced myself so hard and was able to push forth my PRINCE. He arrived exactly at 11:45am, I saw him and the pains and sweat vanished , hubby was called on phone and he was super happy.. Tears no be small joke o, na God see me through.. Have not slept for an hr at a stretch, breast milk just started pumping today. Its not been easy, na real vigilante work mothers they do..

There shall be no loss on this group, wishing all 2019 and 2020 mamas, safe delivery..

I prayed to God just for my dad to wait till my baby was born, and now I got the shocker of my life after everyone lied to me about it... My dad is no more, I promised him 3days back to bring my baby to see him, for him to just hold on after all he was not sick.. Life took away the man who means so much to my life... Can't even think straight

Late delivery as in??

It is used to stop premature contractions that occurs between 22 and 37weeks of pregnancy...

It doesn’t stay long in the system, 80 percent of it is excreted through urine and stool within 24hours..

It doesn’t In any way stop spontaneous labour..

Am 37+weeks, I noticed I can't walk with my legs properly, my pelvic hurts, I get relieved wen I use hands to support my belly, like lifting it a bit above my thighs. I know it will end in praise, na so June just remain 8days to end.
Already set and arranged my lo clothes and necessities in the wardrobe, packed my hospital bag already, my room is smelling baby stuff already o. Am just so grateful to God
He is d one able to see me this far.
