Rant time
I know no one ll reply this rant but ll still rant. I notice baby kim was less active for like three days, all of a sudden, last Saturday, she was hyperactive, she started moving seriously, I was actually scared and went to the hospital, doc checked baby's heartbeat which was normal and said baby was breeched (subhanallah), baby breeched ke,, @ 35weeks, was really scared, my hubby said he doesn't bliv the doc that how can he just check with hand and conclude that baby was breeched. that was how I went to do scan and baby was in cephalic position, my joy knew no bound ydy.(alhamdulilah).

You mean 2.47g? I think thats rather small for a 37 week old baby hence the reason u measure 34 weeks. But u know these scans arent always accurate. I think u should see ur doctor he may recommend another scan or profer a solution. Till then, keep praying and be calm. All will be well

how are we all doing I hope we are enjoying this last trimester and accepting each days as it comes. I pray God will see us through and ease it for us.
I think we should be rounding up the bag packing now... The lord is our strength. We are almost there.

Lets read up this to note the signs of labour.
How can I tell when I'm going to go into labor?

There's no way to predict exactly when labor will start. And even when you notice early signs of labor, your baby's birth could still be days or weeks away.

Your body actually starts preparing for labor as much as a month before you give birth, so you may begin to notice new symptoms as your due date approaches.

Here are some early signs of labor:

Your baby "drops." If this is your first pregnancy, you may feel what's known as "lightening" a few weeks before labor starts, meaning the baby now rests lower in your pelvis. You might feel less pressure just below your ribcage, making it easier to catch your breath.
You have more Braxton Hicks contractions. More frequent and intense Braxton Hicks contractions can signal prelabor, which is when your cervix starts to thin and widen, and sets the stage for true labor. (See below.) Some women experience menstrual-like cramps during this time.
Your cervix starts to change. In the days and weeks before delivery, changes in the connective tissue of your cervix make it soften and eventually thin and widen, or dilate. (If you've given birth before, your cervix is more likely to dilate a centimeter or two before labor starts, but keep in mind that even being 40 weeks pregnant with your first baby and 1 centimeter dilated is no guarantee that labor is imminent.) When you're at or near your due date, your doctor or midwife may do a vaginal exam during your prenatal visit to see whether your cervix has started to change.
You pass your mucus plug or notice "bloody show." If your cervix begins to efface significantly or dilate as you get close to labor, you may pass your mucus plug – the small amount of thickened mucus that has sealed off your cervical canal for the last nine months. The plug may come out in a lump all at one time or as an increased amount of vaginal discharge over the course of several days. The mucus may be tinged with brown, pink, or red blood, which is why it's called "bloody show." (Having sex or a vaginal exam can also disturb your mucus plug and result in some blood-tinged discharge, even when labor isn't necessarily starting any time soon.)

Signs that labor is imminent, if not already under way, include:

Your contractions become increasingly intense. Unlike Braxton-Hicks contractions, labor contractions grow stronger, longer, and more frequent as they cause your cervix to dilate.
Your water breaks. When the fluid-filled amniotic sac surrounding your baby ruptures, fluid leaks from your vagina. And whether it comes out in a large gush or a small trickle, this is a signal that it's time to call your doctor or midwife.
Most women start having regular contractions before their water breaks, but in some cases, the water breaks first. When this happens, labor usually follows soon after.

My princess came in this morning 2nd july.

My due date according to scan was june 26 while lmp was july 1st.i was hoping for a june baby but at the same time scared of passing my due date since it happened with my first.
I went for lecture july 1st towards d end of the class i just remembered that i haven't felt kick at all.i left immediately and quickly drove home then took my bath and pack my hospital things in d car since hubby is not around n my mumc can't drive shld incase.on getting to hospital, doc examine d heartbeat and it was ok but that he will have to admit me since am due and movement has reduced.on getting to labor ward,the doc der checked me and said i was already 3cm.i  was given a room and i and my mumc started gisting.an hour later doc came in again and checked that i was 4cm and that he will allow labor to progress on its own till morning. By 1.30am a nurse came to wake me, an Enema was done and after 5min i went to download poo of life.an injection was given to me in other to make contraction stronger but contraction refuse to be strong (note i was busy praying that i will contract without pain and declaring the prayers in d e-copy of supernatural birth book i have).

By 5am d nurse came to check me and i was 6cm and that d cervix ws thick and baby head was still far and that she will have to gv me d almighty hot drip.around 6am she brought d drip and administer it,Immediately the pain came from no where and i just reminded myself that i can't feel pain cos i wanted supernatural delivery.when ever d pain comes i hold my mum tight and start speaking in tongues and praying.15min later i told my mum i want to poo that she shld press d bell for the nurses to come.she did but non was coming so she had to go and call them.i told them baby was coming and she said its is not possible that i shld calm down let her check me....b4 she could bend i already push d head out and d next contraction d body came out.
Glory to God...no tear no episotomy

#my rant# my bumps is not too big but I feel am carrying the whole of Africa. Fatigue has not been nice to me this 3rd trimester, I get tired on any little thing I do, and the most annoying part is that when I try to walk normal(not too fast) my jaijana use to draw me back, I feel pain in the jaijana and pelvic bone that I av to just take my walking steps slow. I complained @ antenatal, the doc said its part of the package and gave me pcm to use 3ce daily, well,I only used it once sha, am not that faithful with drugs

On Tuesday the 6th, I was in bed, and then all of a sudden I felt wet, so I quickly rushed to the bathroom, and then I realized my water had broken and it wouldn't stop trickling down, but no contractions. Hubby was out of state, so in order not to get stuck in the house, I quickly wore a sanitary towel, took my bags and drove down to the hospital, which is about 5mins drive from my place. I checked in at about 7:30 pm and started feeling mild contractions afterwards, the doctor did a VE, said I was 4cm, and asked me to go to my room and to call him if I needed him. Shortly after laying on my bed, I started feeling the real bad boys every10mins, and then 5mins, and then came the urge to poop, so I called the nurses who led me to the delivery room, and after 5 pushes I became tired, the doctor said I had to push hard one more time, because he didn't want the baby to be where he was at that moment, as it was a dangerous place for him to stay, I don't know where the strength came from when I heard that, but i gave a crazy, bad ass push and  at 9:22pm I had my juicy 4.4kg baby boy with his cord wrapped 3 times around his neck, the doctor removed it and then he began to yell his lungs out , I couldn't stop smiling. In all, 
I thank God for a smooth pregnancy and a pretty neat delivery, and also thank you mommas here for knowledge shared, love you all.

Congrats to all mamas that has put to bed, may Almighty God watch and keep ur lo. I was patiently waiting for Saturday so I can get a positive news concerning the heart beat, only for me to start having cramps all through yesterday and i was spotting.hmmm toward evening the cramps became unbearable it's was like I was having contraction every 5mins. Went to d hospital this mrn nd they gave me an injection and was sent to scan ,they couldn't find the baby again only for me to go nd pee and i popped it out and blood everywhere. I couldn't believe it, was so shocked but relieved as well,my baby at 11 weeks was finally gone. Hopefully I will join u all soon by God's grace.

I believe our ANC Classes are interactive. I hope we are enjoying meeting with other belleful mamas over there. By now, many of us most have taken our 2nd TT (and 2nd IPV). Please, let us create a reminder for the 3rd TT (6 months after 2nd TT) because most of us will be busy with our baby by then and its possible we will not remember (As most mama doesn't go for it). I pray God will continue to strengthen us and help us all to carry to term with easy delivery.

How are we feeling about our lo jumping up and down, building mansion in our womb? How are we copying with our showing bumps? Most of us will find it difficult to do most of our daily routine that requires bending.Lets take it easy and seek for help where needed. May we not labour in vain. We shall reap the good fruit of our labour.

Cappo Cappo. We kuku dey o. Alhamdulillah for his mercies and strength. Lo has been kicking since 20 weeks after all my worries that it wasnt kicking yet. I've taken both shots of my tetanus injection. But yet to take Fansidar anti malaria drugs, the reviews of the side effects are bloody and fear no gree me take am due to my wicked experience with morning sickness. Hopefully, this weekend sha. Please Mamas that have taken Fansidar anti malaria ddrug, kindly encourage me.

My history with fansidar isn't encouraging. However, I ll imploy u to fink about your little lo so that she won't be affected. I have taken it twice now, the rest is history

Hi Mama August!!! Am sure many of us are enjoying this lovely trimester. Before the end of next month, , many of us would have entered our 3rd trimester so let's enjoy as must as we could now.
Hi Hope we have all registered for our ANC Classes and we have start meeting other pregnant mums. Many of us who registered early must have taken 2 shot of our TT injection and some of us who registered less than a month have taken just one shot. Please, dont let us miss the next appointment for the next shot.
I pray the Almighty God will continue to strengthen us and help us all to carry to term with easy and stress-free delivery.


Now, most of us, if not all must be feeling our baby kicks and their super active jumping upandan inside the little mansion in our belle. Many of us will start finding it difficult to bend down and do our normal chores but lets all try to intensify more effort without over stressing ourselves or our lo's but mustn't be too lazy.
