Health / Re: Court Stops Implementation of FG/JOHESU Agreement by king65(m): 10:43am On Jun 30, 2014
tuoyoojo: Its best the doctors down tools, let's the consultants made by johesu see the patient, examine and make a diagnosis, give treatment and save lives

Patients do not come to see any of the johesu people, they come to see a doctor( the others put mildly are mere support staff)

Its just similar to this analogy, because driver sabi driver oga moto, him go come talk say na him own d moto, mak oga dey call am chief? Tufia!!!

If they want to be called consultants , then dey should pay the price. Go to medical sch for 6 years, do housemanship n nysc for 2 years, write primaries, start residency, spend a minimum of 4 years, pass your part 1 and part 2 exams with all the sleepless nights and lysing from ur chiefs and hell yeah! I would call u a consultant....are we asking for too much?!

You obviously do not understand the clamour for consultancy in other fields. Being a consultant lab scientist, physiotherapist, pharmacist and radiographer doesn't mean they are at the same level with consultant surgeons etc. it is only to improve these professions so that people will read further and develop themselves in their various fields. Now tell me what does a surgeon do when an RTA patient is brought to him. Does he open up immediately or sends the patient to the radiology dept for a ct scan or MRI? When you want to talk leave being a doctor aside and understand how the health sector works properly before you speak. Nobody is lord over the other as long as the health sector is concerned, everybody is important and vital.

Phones / ISPs With Fake Claims Of 4G by king65(m): 11:11pm On Oct 13, 2013
I wonder when NCC will wake up from their slumber to appoint the technical know how's to run the commission. How can our ISPs claim to run 4G whereas you can't watch a simple video on you tube without it buffering. Spectranet now claims to run LTE which is way better than the rest but it still takes several minutes to open a streaming site let alone watch the video. This is becoming annoying since these claims have no limit and they bills us for services they can't render.

Ladipo Market ex-President accused of embezzling N46m, other funds
on July 03, 2013 at 2:00 am in News
By ABDULWAHAB ABDULAH
LAGOS — Justice Olabisi Akinlade, of an Ikeja High court, was, yesterday,  told how the embattled former president of Aguiyi Ironsi International Market, known as Ladipo Market, Jonathan Okoli, allegedly failed to remit the sum of N46million trade permit to Lagos State Motor Vehicle Association Agency, MVAA.

This was exclusive of other funds he allegedly collected on behalf of the market’s association, but allegedly converted to his personal use.
A prosecution witness, Anthony Mark, led in evidence by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, counsel, Anselem Ozioko,  said the defendant only remitted fund he allegedly collected from 430 shops instead of about 1,500 to government’s coffers.
According to the witness,  “In 2007 the Agency confirmed through the letter written to the association that he (defendant) only paid N700,000 out of the N8.7 million made that year.”

He said the letter indicated that state government should only collect N5,000 instead of the excess of N5,500 being paid by the traders.
Mark said apart from N5,500 being paid to MVAA, the traders at each shop in the market also paid N12,000 to Mushin local government annually.
The witness claimed the money allegedly paid between 2008 and 2009, amounting to N18.7million was diverted to the defendant’s personal account.

He alleged that the defendant failed to remit the sum of N8.5million collected from the traders in 2011 and 2012 to the state government instead, he allegedly paid same  to his personal account number 126101014690.
Okolie was arraigned on April 22, this year by the anti graft agency on a three-count charge of obtaining money by false pretences and stealing.

This doesn't mean the iyaloja and babalojas will do better. He obviously was prosecuted cos he didn't share the loot with others. Of what use is it having two authorities exercising same function in a market place?

Romance / Re: What Are The Responsibilities Of A Boyfriend Or Fiance? by king65(m): 8:24am On Mar 30, 2013
I have laughed out my intestines from your comments. There are no set out guidelines on responsibilities of a boyfriend but the basic is monetary returns should never be a criteria nor bearing gifts for going into a relationship. Play your part to help when need arises, give gifts when need be not out of compulsion. Relationship is a two way tin so nobody is laced with the responsibility of calling more than the other,If u don't hear from your partner put a call through to know how he/she is faring. Chrisebegunor,chiomsy19 and every other contributor you all made my day with your truthful, sarcastic and hilarious comments. Nairalanders una too much

Romance / Re: She discovered her hubby is gay. by king65(m): 1:32pm On Jan 15, 2012
some things just don't make sense and cant work. it is one thing for your husband to cheat on you with anoda woman while you wait for him to turn around and be the nice, caring husband he used to be but when it comes to man cheating on his wife with another man,gal walk out of that marriage cos he doesn't have any regards or feelings for you. you are just a camouflage to the society while he runs his homo life in secret.
