International football is different from intercontinental football. West africsn teams and a few North african teams are better at playing European or South American teams. The only North African teams good outside the continental are morocco and Algeria. The rest of the North African teams falter outside Africa. Look, ghana can win the world cup and then loose to cameroon. Morocco that got to the world cup semi final cannot even win the nations cup. Recently we drew 1 1 with Russia in a friendly. Most southern African teams are not too good when competing outside the continent. Even Egypt don't make much of an impact globally. West African teams like Ghana, caneroon, ivory coast etc will do better in the world cup than South africa.

Total BS.. when South Africa was ranked number 1 in Africa and 16th in the world , a lof of our players were playing in Europe.. how did they play in Euope then? Morocco will win the next Afcon edition btw
