Safiaa:
What is the essence of a relationship if you’re not benefiting from it? I hate to sound somehow, but honestly I feel like you guys are not being honest with yourselves. Sex is not a favour to you guys, yet you persue it more than money sef. Sex is basically like food to men. After basic amenities like food and water sex should be next for men. Women don’t persue sex in the same manner.

The same way if you meet a woman who can prepare your favourite meal and coook better, throw it down in the bedroom more, looks better, wouldn’t you opt for the better option? Wouldn’t that be more of a ‘wife’ to you? Not justifying cheating but if she decides to leave for a man who can do a better job as a provider, she has the right to do so. Jeez you guys are becoming so sensitive.
I don’t seems to get you, the fact that men love sex ( let’s pretend as tho women don’t love, enjoy or demand for sex too) and demand for sex from their partner are you trying say for that reason it’s a favour ladies doing my having intimacy in a relationship? Wow I don’t know where this mentality came from, it is this kind of mentality that lead girls into asking to be paid for sex even when in a relationship......... like I said earlier if any girl feels or think after having sex she should be giving money i honestly respect such but let’s be plain about it, say it clearly and don’t hide behind “being in a relationship” just tell the guy the cost for a round and you get down to business.

You said what is the need of being in a relationship if you don’t gain anything from it..... your question you should have asked is what is the reason of entering a relationship? Is it for financial gain? Is it for companion ship which may lead to life long marriage ? Or is t for free food and gift? .......... mind you I am not saying couples shouldn’t spoil each other once in a while but that shouldn’t be the core of the relationship..

I see a lot of articles stating what a guy must do or must not do in a relationship, the ladies are always left in the background....... I asked some female friends if they could spend Money on their bf.... majority of the ladies I asked said “no” “never” one even said “God forbid” like seriously people? That mentality is a poverty mentality, mind you spending on your guys isn’t the guy’s right awell it’s a privilege when moved by the “ spirit” ...... same way it is for guys, spending on a girl isn’t a must it’s a privilege when moved by the spirit.

Also I need to say this, most ladies I have met lately believe that sex answers all things..... thus they see taking their bf out or getting him a gift, as “ over doing” they see it as being cheated in the relationship....... she see sex as payment for everything which is very wrong, what ever I do for my girl I do that out of love not because I am expecting to be paid in sex, mind you sex can be gotten from anywhere lately and trust me that shii is cheap lately.

I for one can’t cross an oceans for a person that wouldn’t even jump the gutter for me, I know what I bring to the table thus I don’t mind eating alone !!!

Also you said something about breaking up to date a richer guy and all..... I am totally not against that if you are truly in love and your heart truly wants that, but if all you see in him is his money and that’s the sole reason of leaving your man to date him.... then there is problem somewhere oooooo............ I leave you with this question what will you think of a guy that breaks up with you, to date another girl simply because she cane from a wealthier family than yours? What will you think of such a dude?

But in all do whatever you believe makes you happy..... That is my 10kobo piece of advice
RomanceRe: what's with Nigerian girls & this mentality? including my girlfriend! by Kingdante(m): 2:33pm On Apr 14, 2018
Take it from me, a girl with that kind of attitude is bad news ooo........ she is more interested in the “benefit” than the relationship, she sees relationships as an avenue to make ends meet...... and the part that killed me was when she said “ you are fucking her” madam Bleep no b favor if you want us to pay for the Bleep, just stand for road and tell us the price for short time easy!!! Nope come form relationship here then begin ask for money for sex.

She is saying If the guy isn’t well to do she will cheat and lie.... like wtf are you talking? Take it from me no matter what you do for this kind of girl the very minute she sees a “ flashy” guy is willing to spend more on her, she will move on .... cos she sees the relationship as an means of lively hood.... a new richer guy is like a job promoting to her..... all she has to offer is sex! Sex!! Sex!!! Nothing more .

By their fruits.... we shall know then.

Giving money to ones gf is a favour, a privilege to that girl by no mean is it a right ......................

CultureRe: Edo People Are Not Witches, Please Stop The Bigotry. by Kingdante(m): 6:33pm On Apr 07, 2018
Cutehector:
I met an awesome girl online and we got chatting, we got to know ourselves and there was this spark in our chats that made it seem like we've known each other a long time ago. So I informed a friend of mine about my new found friend and told him, "oh well, I'm getting to know someone online and I think she is bae" he asked me where is she from and I replied she is from Edo state. There was this long pause and then he replied, Not applicable! I asked him what he really meant by that and he said well Edo people no be am. I did give him a piece of my mind and challenged him to stop having that mindset.

I thought to myself, why do we Nigerians tend to have this tribalistic sentiments about certain tribes in Nigeria most especially those from Edo state?

Most people say Edo people are witches that fly in the day time, some say they are badluck, some already just have this stereotype that Benin people are idol worshippers and I say that's a negative thinking. We cannot progress as Nigerians if we keep on dishing out hate speech on different tribes we really know nothing about. This issue is really a serious one most especially in cases when two people are getting married and either of the two spouses is from Edo state, the other family begins to have this negative vibe against the Edo people simply because of their warped mindset.

Not only that, we also tend to judge other tribes based on what we hear. I am sick and tired of hearing things like

Calabar people are promiscuous

Edo people are witches

Benin girls are prostitutes

Fulanis are killers

Hausa people are extremists.

We should stop this tribal bigotry amongst ourselves and learn to understand the fact that each tribe is unique. We keep on complaining whites are racists yet we are the culprits when it comes to tribalism. There are good people also and we shouldn't judge those who are good simply because of the mistakes made by those who have in one way or the other soiled the good name of the society they come from.

Let's quit the negative energies we have on ourselves and begin to see the good in people from other tribes.

Supermod (mynd44): I propose that any nairalander who posts hate speech or any tribalistic sentiment against another tribe here on nairaland must be banned for a 100years beginning from today.

Say no to tribalism, let's be united.

Ok na. You would just need a new engine that's all
For using a pacer? Or using a new catalyst? How na? If it’s about the mesh used by some panel beaters I agree with you sha ..... but it’s not a must that the engine will and must die..... that is actually better than having the pot empty.

Yes it can.... my 2 cars don’t have, my Toyota Camry 2010 drives normal and all.... the only slight difference is that it consumes more fuel with is slightly noticeable anyway......... my advice after removing the catalyst tell them to put in a pacer or some panel beater have stuffs they forge and put inside or better still you can get a new catalyst and get it installed.
