Our brothers from the East go on every thread to exhibit their tribalistic altitudes. In fact most provacative comments on islamic thread are always uttered by the cos most Yoruba families are mixed when it comes to Christianity and Islam.

Back then, during my youth service to this country (I still can't come to terms that I served this country )

Those guys at mammy market, I mean the hair salons and mani- pedicure shops. Due to the small size of their business, they comfortably seal up their makeshift shops with thick dark cloths and curtains then put their wares just at the front of the shop to attend to their customers.

Right inside the the shop was a bed, pillow, standing fan, bucket and whatever you wanted.

You pay per hour to use the place, of course just on that same line you have the barbers shops with their music on - some little noise were helpful.

I actually had a room there, I paid for the whole time at camp as I needed to stay away from lectures and drills.

Hence till date I do not have any pictures from camp, i was always indoors. my uniform is still clean as snow. Recall, how I was outstanding at POP everyone else had torn uniforms



My son, obviously you have not gone for nysc yet.
Not everyone even goes to camp.
Three of my roommates never slept in camp for one day. They leave camp 7pm every night to return 9am the next day.

Some people slept in the mosque all day, no disturbance.

My own problem is that I can't face and talk to crowd or talk to more than five people alone.

Although I'm a shy guy and an introvert too but my shyness is little or nothing to notice, I have overcame it some while ago but I think little of the shyness is still left in me; even though I can walk to a girl and talk to her but I'm not good at keeping conversation flowing and getting her number.

I'm facing a lot of challenges now I don't know how to overcome this problem even to address a crowd and recently I was elected as the president of my faculty although the election was kind of zoned to my department but I emerged the winner without any manifesto but screening was done and I became the president. So the problem now is how I will address the departments under my faculty when we resume because we're presently on holiday.
How embarrassed would it be if a whole faculty president couldn't stand infront of a class to address them
It would be so bad.

Pls I want you guys to assist me because whenever the thought cross my mind, my heart will just vibrate as if it would just bounce out of my chest.

Guys I seriously need a way to overcome this before we fully resume.

I am a typical Yoruba guy, though I might be joking on this platform about their tribe, but some igbo men are also good.

Apart from living with some of them in our family house then.

I also had an opportunity to live with one during my service in akwa ibom, the guy is wonderfully made, may be because we are both catholic, but truth be told, is not all igbo men that are bad.
