There will be no "retaliation" against anyone in igbo land. I'm certain that this is the last time you will ever hear this allegation from this man.
No one will start running around reposting everywhere.
No one will open thread after thread on Nairaland restating it till it becomes popular.
No conspiracy theories will start springing up left right and centre.
That's how igbos are, they aren't fickle and insecure like some people at the west coast.
However the Yorubas have once again reassured the Igbos that they won't waste a second pushing them off a cliff whenever they carelessly lose focus, like they did during the protests.
Can't divide the already divided.
Southern unity my ass.

Shut the f.uck up

Retaliate on propaganda that Igbo businesses were attacked?

Even if you retaliate you still have the most to lose

How many Yoruba businesses are in the East?

Attack any Yoruba businesses you know in the East, it will just make the west unsafe for you guys.

You are the one defending your useless state.

There is nothing special in not collecting loans from federal government, Anambra didn't want their monthly allocation to be affected.

These guys owe workers salary even when there wasn't any recession, you are talking as if states government started owing salaries during the period of recession only and they owe salaries because they misappropriate the funds.

Did you know that Rivers collected the funds even though they were not owing their workers? But according to your logic they were bankrupted lol as if your Anambra is more viable than Rivers state.

Even during the period of recession Anambra still survived on federal allocation but they just didn't want the loans, Imagine bragging about not collecting loans lol, stupid grin even the most profitable companies still collect loans.

Tell Anambra to stop receiving federal government allocation and let's see how well they survive.
Nairaland / General / Why Are Nigerians So Corrupt? by KingOdart(m): 11:40am On Nov 15, 2020
The Government is distributing mosquito nets in my state, but the corrupt practices of people in my street make me lose hope of Nigeria getting better, we are so extremely corrupt and morally bankrupt for just no reason. You should worry more about an average Nigerian out there not only the politicians, I have been pondering for a while now and still can't come to a conclusion on how an average Nigerian is greedy, selfish and lack morals.

These government workers are going from house to house to distribute mosquito nets to people in their various quarters after they do, they would use chalk to write a sign on the house to show and prove they have been there before so that they won't come to the same place to distribute mosquito nets more than once if different workers are passing through the same area. Do you believe some people in my streets and neighborhood rubbed out the sign that were written by the government workers on their houses so that they can receive more mosquito nets? The government workers may come back again to the same places to distribute mosquito nets more than once because there is no longer any sign on the houses to prove they have been there before.

Mosquito nets that they don't even need they are just being greedy and these are the same set of people that usually complain bitterly about politicians, I have totally lose hope in this country. Why are we so extremely corrupt in this country? I once believe it is poverty but I had a lot of experience like this one that make me change my mind. We are just bad and the irony of it all is that we are so religious it make me cringe.

These are states that couldn't survive when federal allocation was low they were all bankrupts and were bailout by FG,

Bail out funds were actually loans from the federal government that must be return by the states government within 20 years.

Which means federal government will continue to deduct percentage from the allocation of all the states that collected it until they all repay the loans, it was not a free funds

Just because Anambra could not collect the loan doesn't mean it is viable than other states, they know it is not a free funds and they don't want their monthly allocation affected.

Even Rivers state that is one of the richest states in Nigeria collected the loans, Rivers state hardly owe salaries and pensions like Lagos but they still collected it. Most of the states did not even need the funds because majority of them diverted it for their personal use.

IGR you guys use in deceiving yourselves we know region during Covid lock down that nearly wipeout by hunger, during #End Sars protest your poverty tribe were looting people's homes, shops etc. During recession all the states in West were bankrupt except Lagos, states you guys claim make high IGR couldn't survive they had to beg for FG feeding battle.you people are now crying for FG to open land borders, I thought you guys have it all, you keep deceiving yourselves with useless propaganda. Ogun and Oyo that you guys claimed make huge IGR but they can't survive without loan, Anambra with little IGR is building Cargo and commercial airport with second longest runway, biggest international conference centre, Stadium, bridges, etc without borrowing, you can see Anambra is not your mate, Osun and Ogun that ventured to build Airport during Amosu and Aregbsola with the huge money the borrowed the couldn't do 10% of the project and was abounded, Anambra is building these projects when Nigeria is facing economy crunch and not borrowing, keep fooling yourself while your states are struggling to pay ordinary salary

What happened through out the country now only happened in South West

I still remembered ikpeazu feeding you Eba during covid 19 lockdown and your grandma queued for just one tuber of Yam in Anambra.

Looting was carried out through out all the region during Endsars protest too, just because it was not on the front page of Nairaland doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Your people also cried the most because of borders closure but you had to stop crying because nobody give a damn and you can not do anything to change it.

Just because most states in South West received bailout during recession doesn't mean they were bankrupt, we all know state government in Nigeria we do everything to get more funds to embezzled.

In the latest development Ogun state is one of the states that still generated more money than the allocation they received from federal government, while your Anambra IGR hardly surpassed Osun State despite all the economy and GDP you boast of, which means Anambra can't survive without allocation from FG while Ogun state can.

Boo hoo Keep deceiving yourself while Anambra indigenes continues to be economic migrants in other states.

Agbegbaorogboye:

Your attempt at Yoruba altruism is weak and falls flat in the face of facts.
Just yesterday, the SW govs and obas asked Buhari to open up the land borders cause the border communities are the worst hit. We all know those gaining from the border closure the most are the northerners. The only northerner who's taken a hit has just been granted exemption from the punishment. That doesn't look like altruism, rather, it looks survivalist.
During the 80s/early 90s Yorubas held the economic wealth of Nigeria including the cement industry. Presently, we don't have any yet you say our loss is because we're angels who love our neighbors more than ourselves.
Omo eni ò ní s'èdí bèbèrè ká f'ilèkè sí ìdí omo elòmíì. That's what Yorubas know not your bullshit losers theory which in all frankness sounds like "wetin pass you, na to appease am not fight am"

You are actually the one with the loser's theory here

How many Yoruba have come out to say the government is making the cement manufacturing sector unfavorable for them or Dangote is sabotaging them in the industry?

Dangote must be cheating because Yoruba can't compete with him in the cement industry, sound like a typical loser's theory here

Yoruba also benefit from Niger delta resources and I think we will be hypocrites to cry over Northerners benefiting from our resources.

If a Yoruba have the money to compete with Dangote in the cement sector let him step forward and if he is being sabotage let him speak up, that's how to fight I don't believe in stupid marginalization theory and that's actually the loser's theory.

Agbegbaorogboye:

What efforts are being appreciated? Limestone, one of the main components of cement is found in the SW. Yet the two largest cement plants are owned by northerners. Elephant cement and WAPCO which used to be owned by Yorubas are all gone. They have been replaced by BUA and Dangote.
So I ask you again. What cement company is owned by Yoruba.
And don't play that game of Yorubas are the angels. That's a very silly game to play and you should know

We don't need to own a cement company, so far we are still better economically than the northerners and that's a fact.

Yoruba are not that petty and tribalistic, so far no Yoruba have come out that the FG or Dangote is sabotaging their cement factory.

You want Yoruba to hate Dangote because there is no successful Yoruba cement manufacturer like him but complain about Xenophobia in South Africa.

If you don't know all big companies owners like Dangote get help from their government in all part of the world. In fact all the richest people in Nigeria receive assistance from the government one way or another it is just that Dangote is the richest.

Even Innoson you guys brag of get a large chunk of FG patronage.

According to Benin oral tradition, you got your king and learnt your bronze casting from Yoruba and there was no where it was stated that it was their banished prince that became king that sent his son to Benin.

It wasn't me that put it on encyclopedia and anyone that research true Benin history will always find it there so save me the wailing, I have nothing to prove to you.

If Oduduwa was really a Benin man, Yoruba would have been the one that got influenced by Benin culture not the other way round.

Your Obaship, and your bronze casting, you got it from Yoruba even your gods are Yoruba.

Nri kingdom founder also descended from heaven, and shrouded in mystery like Oduduwa as far as I am concern your lost prince could have also wandered there, but I don't know why you guys aren't claiming Nri kingdom founder

As long as your king was from ife, you are under ife.
