I smiled as he started humming, perfect by ed sheeran, and we just waltz around, then I remembered the answered I owed him so I decided to answer, he deserved it
"Yes, I would have accepted your feelings if you were this cool" I said and he giggled "but you have always been this cool, you just hid it" I completed, I wonder what would have happened if I had accepted his feeling.
"I don't blame you Olly, I was hiding my real self" he said, then my heart will me to tell him the part he doesn't know
"What if I told you, I came to your house, to apologize and tell you, I also feel the same way, but I was late, you already left" I said, we are still dancing around
"What if I tell you that I know" he said, I jerked away from him

I asked and he smiled, and gave me a slight nod, "my mom called me and told me you came looking for me, though we didn't see but it made me happiest, all my days there, I was only looking forward to the day I will come back" he said, my heart somersualted with joy, he knew am saved, so like I have been thinking of him, he also have been thinking of him.
I opened my mouth to express my feelings but he silence me by placing his index finger on my lips "Lets go take care of your hair first and no need dancing the rain have stopped" he said, thats right, but Juliet say it will have a reaction if I try to dye it black

Why did I believe them, Mark warned me now I will look like a fool before him, these witches dyed my hair pink, I now look like, a prostitude, but all the same I can still dye it black
"Don't bother dying it black, cause it will react to it, and it might make your hair fall off" Juliet said, squashing my hope.With that I ran off crying, thankGod its already evening, so I only have few people looking my way.
On getting to Mark gate it started rainning, I kept staring and the gate and weeping, what will he say if he sees me, so I walked pass his house, now in the middle of the road the same road I was when I felt my first heartbreak, now am crying again and thinking of how to explain this to my parents
"I told you to be careful Olly" I heard Mark voice from behind and I turned, he is with umbrella standing and looking at me, cause am soaked wet so its hard to know am crying
"don't cry we will figure something out" He said
"How do you know am crying" I asked with shaking voice, he came closer and smiled
"I could feel your tears all the way from my house" he said and caresses my cheek and I lean towards it, first lets get you out of this wet cloth, and the wind is strong, it will soon spoil my brolly" he said, and just like that the wind took the umbrella from his hands, it didn't take him, 3 seconds to get soaked wet cause of the rain.
"what sort of rain is this, its not even raining season" I said and he smiled,
"You know its considered romantic to dance in the rain" he said, and stretched his hands for me to take
"But, no music is playing" I said smiling, but still took his hand
"I will hum" he said and drew me closer, its raining, and I was cold, but not anymore, cause am engulfed with Mark warmth.

We have arrived my mom kept dragging me around meeting people, most peopl I have already met before, after introducing me to Mr and Mrs Igwe, the three started a serious conversation and I used to Opportunity to go find Leo. I saw him surrounded by girls, thats ought to happen since is the most handsome. Amaka is also among, she have her hands on him, even as he tries to pry it out she locked it tighter. Can't she see, she is not wanted, am now boiling with anger but before I could move over to him someone stopped me
"Hi gorgeous" a deep voice said, but not half as sexy as Leo, I turned and saw a guy, not even handsome, just fair
"Hi" I responded, and tried to walk off, he still stopped me and it made me angry, cause those girls want to eat Leo
"What!" I snapped
"cool your horses gorgeous, Am Henry Igwe" He said, like I care, oh he is the henry mom have been talking about, well I need to be nicer since he is family friend
"sorry am Jenifer kings" I said, he smiles

Am now walking downstairs as I saw my mom and Leo waiting for me, mom was on her phone talking to Dad I suppose cause of the giggling and laughter, while Leo have his undivided attention on me. He have this admiration in his eyes and I feel all giddy up knowing its for me. He is now in his full suit attire, without the tie,he look like a fashion model even with injury.
"wow, princess, you look beautiful" my mom said, she is wearing a red long gown,
"you too mom" I said frankly
"thanks, well Leo here can't knot his tie, am not very good at that, why not help him dear" she said as she start making new call as she walk away, from the conversation I think she is talking to Mrs Igwe telling her we will soon be there
I started knotting the tie slowly "Have I told you look cute when you blush" he said smiling, I nodded like an agama "well am saying it again kitty, you look cute when you blush, and by far thats the prettiest thing I have seen" he said as he came closer, I didn't pull away, leaned forward, its this going to be it, the moment I have been waiting for, my head leaned back to give him full access to my lips with my eyes closed, my hand still resting on his chest, my heartbeat is no longer of this world.
"Are done" I heard my mom voice as she came in and we, moved away from each other, I looked at him and he is scratching the back of his neck, smiling awkwardly. First its phone now is mom, is their no end to this torture
"lets go" she ordered and we all went inside the car and Leo drove off. Once again we kept stealing glances at eachother my mom kept talking about how lots of personel is going to show up, I don't care as long as I have a time with Leo perhaps to finish what we started or about to start.

"Olly!" he called, I nearly had a whiplash with how fast I turned "you still owe me an answer" he said with a sly smile, what answer, that's what am about to ask then I recalled

After my Homework I left for Juliet house, today is Friday so no school tomorrow, when I walked pass Mark house, I stayed a bit hoping he will come out and give me that gorgeous smile, but he didn't and my hand sunk.
Juliet and her friends were happy I came, we had fun, am glad we no longer have enmity between us.

"I already used it" Juliet answered, and showed her nice silky hair, we are still in secondary school, most of us cuts our hair, but very few don't, Juliet and I are among the few that don't
"We wanted to help you out" Oge said sadly, and I felt sorry for them, what a nice friend
"If you don't mind, you can wash mine" I asked, I hope it will makes them happy,
"Yeah!" they all chorused.
They started washing the hair, and were all chattering how good it smells, yeah it have strawberry scent, I hope, Mark will notice the difference. I noticed the pink colour of the shampoo as they wash, they said its totally normal, after rinsing they now gave me mirror to see myself
"Here look at yourself" Juliet sad handing the mirror to me, I took it from her with a smile. I was petrified when I saw myself on the mirror, I screamed
"What have you girls done" I asked, they started laughing at me, so it was all planned, I was a fool to believe she is good, I have already start crying
"When Principal see you on Monday like this, he will definitely punish you" Juliet said with a smile.

"Sorry, my bad" he said and closed the door again, sorry for what, I heard a knock

"Close your eyes" He ordered, I did, then after a few seconds I felt a cold thing touch my neck, he moved my hair a bit then sniffed the hair and muttered something that sounded like 'love kitty' buth am not sure
"Open" he said, I saw the prettiest neckless I ever seen, hanging around my neck and I gasped "now its complete" he said
"How" I asked
"Its a present, just say thanks" he said smiling and I turned and gave him the tightest hug I can give,
"Thanks" am a rich girl, my parents always buy me things like this, but no guy have bought me things like this before, and to think that Leo my bodyguard and a guy am infatuated with did, it brought tears to my eyes.
"Don't cry kitty, you will ruin your make up" he said as he kissed my forehead, I hiccupped with this act of kindness my heart skipped before beating a whole lot faster. I kept standing there blinking like a fool
"We're waiting downstairs" he said before existing the room, it took me a few minutes to gather myself and looked myself in the mirror and truthfully am complete, I smiled at the kiss gesture.

My school have been fun since Mark came back, we are now inseparable, though we are still friendzone but its better than nothing, but he sometimes complain of headache, I think its because he reads at night.
"So students, I know your WAEC is coming soon, and your schedule are tight, but please think about what I said" said the principal, Mark and I are currently in the principals office, he is asking us to participate in a competition among five schools. Our school have never won, but with Mark am sure we will.
"You don't have to beg sir, we will participate" I said, Mark might not agree since he would want to concentrate on his WAEC studies "Will you participate" I asked him, if he refuse, principal will replace him, with another, but I know non is better than him, and I really want to win.
"Sure Olly" he said smiling showing his set of white teeth and I drooled "close your mouth, fly might enter" he teased and I closed my mouth.
"The competition is next week Friday, so get ready" the principal said and we left.
We are standing at Marks gate, but he is not willing to enter and am not willing to leave, so we both stand there talking.
"So should I come to your house for today's studies" I asked, yes I always come over and we read, his family are nice to me, and they take extra care for him, he is everyone's favourite.
"No, I won't be around? am going somewhere with mom" he said sadly, does that means he miss me, I smiled at that
"Ok, well I just remembered Juliet invited me over to her house" I said and he looked at me with surprise
"I thought you girls are cat and dog" He said and I laughed
"Yes, but she have apologized, saying she was just jealous, so I forgave her, she then invited me to her house" I said he just nodded
"be careful Olly" He warned and I nod, then we heard his mom called him.

This whole day have been hectic, its friday and luckily no lecture so my mom have been dragging me around doing some body touch so she called it, we are currently doing out hairs and also nails. I miss Leo, I haven't spent aytime with him today, mom sent him to fix the car we want to take and even if he was around I would have not spent time with him since mom won't let me
"You are so going to be the prettiest girl there" my mom said, I just smiled like I have been doing since we got here. I rather be with Leo and also ask him about the scar than being here
"Henry is so going to be lost" she said, Henry is the son of Mr and Mrs Igwe son, I wonder what she meant that he's going to be lost.
After fixing the hair and everything its already evening so my mom called Leo to come drives us home, we are now currently stealing glances at eachother through the front mirror, whenever our gaze loc we make funny faces and my mom is oblivious to that
"Go get ready" she ordered Leo as we arrived, she wants us to be at the party by 8pm or so, qe all walked to room. Leo hands brushed against mine and it sends electric all over me, I think he did it intentionally, to prove me right he walked just a few fee ahead turned and gave me that heart stopping smile with the dimple, I smiled back without the dimples though.
Am, currently standing in my mirror checking myself out in the mirror, I looke good, I doubt I look this beautiful, I heard the door open, I looked through the mirror and saw Leo enters and my heartbeat raced up

"Wow, that's superb" she said, like I said am very good at my work, looking at us, it seems strictly business, but I didn't fail to notice how she kept rubbing her knee against mine.
"So I will be going now" I said innocently, damn am such a good actor
"Oh k, but please do wait I have to bring something from my room" she said and left not givin me a chance to protest not that I want to. After a few minutes I got a call, so I checked to see who, and its no other than Miss Igwe, so I picked up
"Hello" I said
"Can you please come upstairs and help me with something, its room 107" she said and hung up, still not giving me the chance to protest, you don't have to love, cause we both want the same thing. I went upstairs looking innocent.
"Come in" she said as I knocked on the door, I went it, and locked the door behind me, you might ask me why, cause before my eyes is a very sexy naked Miss Igwe, yea very sexy, my Johnson is already protesting to be let out.
"The tention have been high between us" she said seductively
"Yes it have" I replied with a grind, my last night was fun, yea, but am never tired of fun, so am going in again

"I know what you are thinking" he whispers close to my ears, and the closeness made me hot. "block me Jacob so the teacher won't see me sleep" he said and rest his head on his desk, I swear its as if he have a sleeping sickness.
After school we are both walking home and he is humming, he does that alot.
"Why do you always sleep in school" I asked
"cause I love my sleep, its my hobby" he said and I laugh, sleep being someone hobby, its unheard of.
"then how come you are this intelligent" I asked
"cause I read a lot" he said and sprint off, I automatically ran after him, we are such a kid.

THE SACRIFICE.

Chapter 1
Its always refreshing to be in a new city, its as if the air feels different, the sun shines brighter and warmer, everything intrigues you. My family just relocated to the town new, and its quite refreshing especially after my sister's incident, God bless her soul. Now we can finally put everything behind us. Am walking around taking in the environment, its beautiful, the town is just what I need. I smiled as I got a wink from a really cute boy, yes this town have a lot of cute guys and its quiet tempting since I made up my mind to avoid guys since my sister's incident.
"Whatever you want to say, am not interested" I said to the guy as he tried to speak, my words left him speechless and I walked away, politely. He is cute but not cute enough to shake my resolve. I keep walking down the street, when I think I have covered enough under one day I decided to go back home.
I walked slowly home, am not in a rush, am 18 years old through with secondary school, just waiting to write jamb, I will soon find a tutorial center to start, I guess I will find that tomorrow. I was still lost in thought when I heard someone calling
"Neighbor, neighbor" I turned to see our next door neighbor waving at me "wait up" she quickened her pace to meet up with me. "Where was your mind, I have been calling for long" she said a little out of breath.
I gave her a sheepish smile "sorry" I said and she waved it off
"By the way am Lydia" she said
"Am Antonia, but you can call me Tonia" I said and we continued our walk home.
"So how are you liking the neighborhood" she said,
"So far so good" I said with a shrug, she then started telling me about the power situation and how it works, from what she is saying I found out that they use to have power issue till they bought new transformer. She greeted people as we walked home, guess she is the popular type am just glad she didn't stop to have chitchat with any of them cause it would've been awkward fo me.
We kept chatting and am glad, she is a nice girl, am saying this cause she didn't talk about anybody even the ones that greeted us as we pass, girls always like talking about people cause gossip is in our nature. So any girl that doesn't is nice to me and the best type of girl.
"This road use to be a mess but its now super cool" she said, you see? She keep talking about environment, I hope she grows up nicely, she is younger than me.
"Why are you not in school" I asked since today is school day, she smiled
"Had a stomach issue earlier today" she said and I just nodded, not long after we reached our house, mine is the first.
"Do you like novels" She asked, I just nodded, I actually don't, but come on who will ever say no, saying yes makes you look cool. "Good, come over I have one for you" she said gesturing me to come. If I knew it was a means to an invitation I would've been truthful, not that I don't like the invitation, I do, cause I would've been miserable at home alone, but since she invited cause of book, she will now give me a book to read which will bore me to death.
"Alright" I agreed anyway and followed her to her house. She smiled, there is something about her smile, its not just a smile, she is happy that I accepted, it made me feel special, now I feel bad for lying.
"Nobody is at home" she said as she unlocked the door with her key, she urshered me in, we froze when we heard a noise, it sound like spoon and plate.
"Seems someone is home after all" I said and she smiled
"That would be one of the twins, they love their food" she said and moved towards the noise and I followed.
"I hope you left some for Paul" she said with amusement, I heard some mumbling, I scoffed, I know he mumbled cause he have his mouth filled with food. Boys.
He already picked my interest so I came out to see the eater, I froze on seeing him, his mere presence just broke down my wall and shakened my resolute, how can he be so handsome even with his mouth filled with food.

"If you miss step you will fall inside the water and drown" he said with a smile, and locked our hands together "come on its me and you against the nature" he said and I smiled, how did I ever reject these guys feelings. We both walked home like that still having conversations.
When I got home today, my happiness could not be contained, now I understands why I felt whole earlier this morning, am still walking with my steps in straightline

After am done with my assignment, I went to bed, I want morning to come fast so that I will get to see Mark, with that I slept off. Am now hiding beside Marks house, I have been here since 6:55AM its now 7:15 and he is not yet out, did he leave before I came?, thats too early, he is still inside the house, I plan to walk out once I see him, so it will look like a coincidence, but with this rate we will be late if he doesn't come out soon. I decided to go knock at the gate, he won't find it weird, we are friends after all. But before I could move he opened the gate and come out.
"Mark" I said as I walked up to him with a smile and he smiled back
"Olly" he said "what a coincident, come lets then walk to school together" he said, and I rejoice inwardly my plan worked
"Are you alright" I asked as I notice he looked tired.
"yeah just a slight headache" he said and I nodded."what is the most beautiful thing in this world" he asked, why ask such question, I cleared my throat and answered
"I don't know for others but to me its the moon, its like a huge diamond, I know the sun gives it light, but moon is just too beautiful" I said and smiled
"that means you always will always fantasize while watching the moon" he said with a smile, I looked away, yes and the fantasies are all about you Mark. "Lets hurry we are already late" he took my hand and started running.

"come on lets prepare for school" I said and went upstairs, I hope we don't see Amaka today.
Am now looking forward to the party, and I hope Leo can tell me why he came back with the injury last night, looking at him now with the injury I have to admit he look like a badass and that is sexy.
We are now at unisex boutique, and I have been dragging Leo around, he looks tired, its also my punishment for pretemding he's sleeping this morning and am also glad we didnt see Amaka
"Can I help you out" Leo suggested and I can sense his patient runing out, I just nodded, why do guys hate shopping. After searching a little while he came out with a knee length black gown that is sort of cute
"Go taste it out" he ordered, I took it and went to the changing room, I checked it on the mirror it looks perfect, so I walked out
"wow, kitty" he said giving and intense gaze, he run his eyes all over me and once again the butterflies came back, with my heart beating like a machine gun "am such a gentleman" he said with a smirk I just rolled my eyes and went back to change it to my normal cloth.
when I came back he is gone "Where is he" I askedthe sales girl
"he went to the men side, he asked you to wait" she said as she hand me over the gown I bought in the bag. Sly dog he doesn't want me to see the suit he bought.

I kept hearing some noise downstairs and its disturbing my sleep, I didn't sleep on time last night and now am awake because of the noise.
"If I catch the person responsible for this noise he or she is going to pay" I said gruntly and rush downstairs, lo amd behold, my mom is standing there talking with Leo
"Princess" she said as she saw me, she moved and gave me a hug, yea she calls me princess and I use to love it, now I love kitty, I glance at Leo and saw his quick state, I figured my mom noise woke him too
"welcome mom" I said and she nod, she started talking about her business in london, and just like that I said goodbye to my sleep, I looked Leo amd we shared a pitiful look
I just listened to my mother talk and now Leo is sitting opposite me with his head hung low, that betrayer he slept off, am so going to make him pay
"Well guess what" she asked
"You met the Queen of England?" I guessed and she gave me a narrowed disapproving look at my joke and I rolled my eyes "I can't guess mom"
"I saw Mrs Igwe and her son, the boy is a fine man, Mr and Mrs is Igwe is having their anniversary tomorrow so we are going" she said
"But dad is not yet back so you have to go alone" I said as I took one of the cookies she brought back
"I know princess, am going with you, to introduce you to the family" she stated, and I froze, am not good at such old geezers parties "and its final" she said, and crushed my hope of deny.
"so go to the botique after school today and buy some nice dress" she said
"but I have many dress" I countered,
"yea but this party is special so you need a special gown" she said and take a piece of cookie too, I looked at Leo he is still sleeping, makes me want to strangle him, I sort of need to see his face, it will brighten this situation, but the dimwit is oblivious of this situation.....

Through todays lesson, I couldn't concentrate, though am sitting upright and facing the front but my body is too aware of the boy beside me,
"Can I see that pen" he said and took the pen from my hand, he finger touched me at the process, its sends sweet sensation down my body.
"Excuse me" I said as I stood up and rushed out of the class, I went to the restroom, to gather myself, am such a weakling to him, his aura is too dominating. After I have gathered myself I went to class.
"Olly you changed" He said after am seated
"How so" I asked, am curious to see what he think
"Not that am a pervert, but you are really endowed now" he said with a smile and am blown away.
"Look who is talking, have you seen yourself lately" I asked, "everything about you change like you did a body surgery" I said and he giggled
"Yes, I met with Michael Jackson and he sent me to his doctor" he joked and I smiled, it seems he is not angry I turned down his feeling 3 years ago, maybe he have forgotten about that, if he have that is goodnews, I will form new bond with him, this time I will welcome his feelings
"How the city" I asked him, about place he have the last 3 years, we are currently walking home together, we don't live far apart from each other
"Its cool" he just said, he is walking in pattern were in perfectly place his steps in front of each other, and have his arms wide apart like he is balancing himself
"Why are you walking like that" I asked, cause looking at him, its childish
"Am playing a game, I have to place my every step in a straight line, I pretend every other place is fire, and I will get burned if I miss an step" he looked at me and smiled.
After a while, I joined him "What are you doing" he asked

Chapter 1
We all make wishes not thinking how drastically it could change our lives if it happens to comes true. For as long as I can remember I have always wish my dad to be super rich, so I can eat the food I want, wear the latest cloth and have the latest phone. Luckily my wish came true so just earlier this year the government awarded my dad a multi billion contract, that really was a live changing contract for us, literally. My father made sure to send my elder brother outside the country, then bought the best kind of things for me. At first all was fine, I became the richest girl in the neighborhood. My mom kept saying we should pack out, my dad said no need since he is already building his house and we should wait till I finish my ss 2, so once we relocate I will start in a new school. I never bothered about the new school or the new environment I was too busy being the biggest girl in my poor neighborhood.
Sadly after my ss 2 we packed into our new home, and the environment was super rich. I have only seen this type of environment in magazines and TV,I never imagined I would one day live here.
"It feels so good, the air smells different... Pure" said my mom the day we packed it, I could see how happy she was when we packed in, she never loved our formal neighborhood, its filled with gossipers and nosy neighbours so she said.
Now I have been enrolled to a prestigious school, so spacious that I don't think I will ever get to cover the whole school tilI I finish. Its been a week since I enrolled and I still feel poor, unlike my formal neighborhood that I became the biggest, here I feel like am poor again.
My mom think attending this school gives me a better chance of being successful in life, she doesn't realise how inferior I feel. I just realise being rich doesn't only mean fat bank account, it also include the way you carry yourself,the designers you wear, your intonation, the way you stress your consonants and vowels. Now I know as I am new money, the students in this school are old money, they are all born with silver spoon, I feel like a sheep thrown to the wolves. Its been a week and I have only manage to make one friend Amina. She is dark very pretty I jealous her cute innocent face, but she talks a lot, am more of a quiet one.
"Today is going to be awesome" Amina said full of excitement, the whole student are gathered on the assembly ground.
"Why" I asked cause I can also see the excitement in every student face especially my classmates.
"Today, the delinquents will be joining us" she said. Delinquents? I thought to myself, if am right then it means trouble, what's there to be excited about it.
"Delinquents, that means they're technically bad" I said just to be sure.
"Yes, that makes it all the fun, its been boring, since everybody here plays by the book, nobody is sure how the delinquents will act so it gets everybody excited" she said panting stretching her neck to see the front. I love boring, boring means safe and I love safe.
"Won't they harm students, and how come the school authority allows it" I asked
The delinquents are all expelled from other schools, and no school wants them, so our principal believes he's giving them one more chance" she said, that's insane, I feel uneasy.
"Won't they deceive the students" I asked
"Probably, but before they are accepted, they first off all go to the military camp for a month for discipline, and while they are here, its the military that takes care of them, they go and come with the military" she said.
"How come you know all this" I asked, thought this is the first time
"Think Barbara, cause this isn't the first time" she took a breath and looked at me, it happens once every 3 years.
"So the school get this excited every time" I asked looking around
"Not nearly, there have been a rumor that principal did it cause of the money the delinquents parents pay him, cause they are always from rich family. So, he now decided to take in poor kids to dissolve the rumors, now since no student knows the rich from the poor we are all excited to figure it out and besides some of us don't know how poor people act" she said and returned to her exciting mode.
"I actually know" I muttered to myself.
I heard the murmur from the student as I watch a bus drive in, the bus filled with delinquents.
"Hi pretty" I heard someone call from behind me,I stiffed, the voice always do that to me.
"Hi Kevin" I replied with a stutter.

Am sad Lancelot didn't get the love, "will he find love later too" I asked

"I will choose lancelot" I said, and hoped he understands the meaning behind the word, he gave me a side glance before exiting the room and I shut my eyes as sleep took over me, my dreams is going to be filled with princess and knight in shining armour.

I looked and saw Mark in all his glory, he is in our school uniform, all his eczema is disappeared, he is now tall, built and still have his calm look, all in all he is an Adonis.
"This is Mark Ugwu, he use to be a student here but he moved after his junior secondary, he is now back, I hope you do treat him well" Our teacher said and left, soon today's lesson will start
"Mark, come over I already set your desk" Jacob gestured Mark over, that's when I noticed the empty seat beside me, and Jacob is now seating in front of me He is now in the same row with Mercy. So Mark have the empty seat beside me, Mark is going to be sitting beside me, that sucked the air out of my lungs.
I have dreamed of meeting him, but I never imagined his present to affect me this much, he is looking at me, only at me, our eyes is locked as he approached, am sucked inside his gaze, every other thing disappeared, the ugly Mark that left 3 years ago came back as a supermodel.
"Olly, do you still remember me" Mark said as he approached me, he bend down so he is now face to face with me, am sitting down, and his closeness rendered me immobile
"yes" I finally said after finding my voice, thank God am black if not I would be read as tomato.
"Be good to me" he said as he came a little closer, his minty breath hits me, I closed my eyes and inhaled, Mark I accept your feelings, I said to myself, if only I can say it now.
"Why not leave the losers and come to our side" juliet said and my eye opened, how dared that witch try to take my man, not your man yet my inner mind said to me
"Losers you said" Mark said before I could counter the witch,
"Yes" Obinna replied
"That's quite fortunate, cause I use to be the number 1 loser" Mark said and sat on his desk which is right beside me.
Juliet and Obinna walked away as they have been defeated.

After the realisation that Mark is the top, my regret heightened, I even moved my desk to back of the class, am currently in Mark formal position which is beside Jacob. And I have been asking Jacob about Mark Life, luckily he happily shares, they were truely bonded, Jacob misses him.

Perhaps today is going to change my life, I smiled at the silly thought, I also took the first position, I can't wait to see Juliet face. with that I started preparing for school.
All student is here and I have already showed my result, people clapped and said it was expected, Juliet was red with rage and Obinna also but who cares.
"We have a new student" Our teacher said after responding to our greeting.
"who would that be" Mercy asked, yeah she have also moved to the back, sitting in front of Jacob, she said it was because of me, but I know Jacob is the reason
"Its Mark" Jacob said chuckling

"So while enemy kingdom took Gwen hostage to threatened the King, he sent Lancelot alone to rescue her, though its a suicide mission sort of, Lancelot still went for the king never knew of how much he loves the princess" he said

"He rescued her with lots of courage, bravery, fighting and lots of blood, and King Arthur also won the enemy in the battle" he said and I smiled
"so after the fight comes the wedding ceremony" he said, am sad that she will marry the king, cause I know Lancelot will make her the Queen of his world and to me that is much better.
"Gwen came to Lancelot and confronted him for what they feel, but he declined amd said its just a fantasy" he said I jerked up and asked why "cause he believe, he have nothing to offer nd the King will make her happy, and she will be a worthy queen" he answered, I still hope Gwen won't accept it
"She accepted it, for her kingdom needs the king protection, so she agreed and went on with the marriage" he said smiling
"what happened to Lancelot then" I asked
"He is happy for he knows with time, she will love Arthur maybe more than she loved him, and then she will be happy" he said....

After the long vaccation, we started our senior secondary, some didn't start with us and we also had new student, Mark was not with us, and it made the school empty, till this moment I still regret the words I told him.
School no longer interest me, for that face I always come to school to see is no longer here, though he is not a charmer, hated by everybody but I love him, why didn't I tell him that when I had the chance. My first term just passed as a blur, though am still everyones favourite but I needed one person, the only happiness I had is I took the first position in our class result.
We don't share result like most school, you have to log online and print your result, and since my jss1 I always take the 2nd position. Now am first and it made me happy
"I took first!" I shouted, everybody looked at me and gasped, beginning of every term, we all gather and say our position from last term,
"Really" Mercy said and I nod showing everybody my result, wow they all chorused
"Finally, I take the position, so who have been taking that position?" I asked as I looked around, yes we never know who, for he or she have never revealed himself and it pained me, at least I want to know who my rival is
"You seriously don't know" Jacob asked from behind. Jacob is Mark best friend, they were always together, either sleeping or chatting, but since Mark left Jacob seems serious maybe Mark was a bad influence.
"No, we don't" I said, he shook his head and smile
"Its Mark" he said and everybody went silent.

Part 4
"Its Mark" Jacob said and everybody went silent, how is that possible, Mark always sleep, never answer question, Teachers don't even bother asking him anything, so how is it possible for him to be top
"Thats not possible" Mercy barked, I don't blame the girl,
"You have always been the 4th right?, but you are now 3rd" Jacob said with a smile,
"How do you know am now 3rd, am actually waiting for the opportunity to surprise Olivia" she said with hint of surprise
"Cause, I have always been 3rd, so with Mark out, Olivia took 1st, I then took 2nd leaving the 3rd position to you" he said with a smirk.
Thats not possible Mark and Jacob have always considered to be the lossers, each term, when we discuss our grades, nobody bothers with them cause we know, they hardly participate in anything.
"Prove it" I said, with a seriousness
"Here" he brought out his result slip from his wallet and showed us, our shocked
