ariesbull: Which stupid mixture... We are igbo our villages are pure igbo... We ensured that we named them igbo... We just have tiny conquered slaved from wars we had and territories we took
Igbos of (Akwacross) Igalas, Binis, Idomas, Ijaws origins ruled over the rest.
It is best you know what stock you are since your lies has been exposed here
ariesbull: Reno a confused man and he is from itshekiri... And the last time I checked, itshekiri do not have common boundary with any igbo village... Itshekiri has boundary with Ijaw, urhobo and isoko abeg how them take igbo slave is a wonder.... Do they mean delta igbo... Even at that they don't have boundaries with them
Igbo that was the hardest to colonise in all Africa that fought British for years from ekumeku wars to Anglo Aro wars to mbaisse war that would be easy to colonise or enslave
Even till date igbo are the only tribe standing against buhari and fighting from fronts where weakling tribes like yoruba, hausa, and those tiny minorities has been cowed.
It is igbo that has never lost a single territory to war or being ruled by another black man... Rather they gained territories. Half of Abia state was gotten through conquest from Ndoki to Aba, from Aro Chukwu to Abriba.... All these territories was gotten through wars and that is why they celebrate ikeji festival to celebrate their conquest.
That is why Abriba do their war dance till date where they dance with cutlass and human head... That is robust igbo culture which I am part of.... We never lost an inch of land we gained even bonny and opobo is shared. Benin territory wr gained igbanke even in Middle belt... I am a proud igbo, you cent try us and go Scott free... We are hard nut to crack....
Ask biafran war... Niberian lost so much that they choose to face the innocent women and children. Till date their casualty in their army is highest... They had to declare no Victor no vanquish... Not an inch of igbo land was lost.... Great tribe
Unlike weak yoruba that lost ilorin, offa and maybe jebba... Parts of lagos is lost also like obalende etc...
Unlike hausa that is being ruled by fulani up and down. The only tribe I respect in North are the kanuri.
The minorities have lost their territories to decimation be it resources or others. The igbo even till today are fighting for territories in the frontier regions of Ebonyi... Ask the Ogoja people and itigidi scores... Abakiliki folks are always in their neck
I am igbo and I am proud... If my herirgae
They couldn't colonise us easily and we were so tough that indirect rule was established... Even igbo women fought the colonials... How much more ordinary lesser tribes that are beneath us to enslave us.... Who born that monkey
Igbo look down on these little tribes and that is the fact... Which tribe wan enter igbo land come enslave them... Imagine that... A whole igbo... Aro was a slave merchant that is all... And in Igbo land during those days if you do bad they sell you off to dealers rather than killing you.
You can't enslave igbo... Ask colonials, ask buhari or anyone we are not like like these minorities or Yoruba that bootlick or hausa has been ruled by Fulani for centuries or
We are igbo.. We die standing not on our knees.... Ask igboid
.
Blah blah blah blah noisemakers, Ojukwu made same noise but when the heat became too hot where was he? KANU the same thing but see how Abokis bundle him back like......
Reno even did a live debate with you and yet you couldn't stand up to him The earlier you accept history and learn from it the better for your generation yet unborn
ariesbull: We celebrate ikeji to commonerate the take over and enslaving the ibibio after wr have decimated them
The igbo named it Arochukwu or Okeigbo (the great igbo)
Installed our king called him Eze Aro....
ARO is in the hands of igbo forever... And the way ilorin is in the hands of fulani
Proud Aro man has spoken
We also took over Abriba areas frok those weak minority tribes
.
Close ya dirty mouth boy, celebrating your emancipation from slavery at the hands of the Ibibio clan should be a thing of joy to you all but be thankful to the squabbles of siblings rivalry and the Ankpas if not Only God knows what would have become of you lots Abribas are not Igbos, just like the Ankpas Ibos slaves only filled up these enclaves from scattered places they ran out from You may be an Aro man but your lineage is not that of the Ibibio overlords or the Ankpas who took over the rein, slaves remnant were abundant
Samishiba: Why do South Africa have many white people blue eyed with European appearance? like Charlize Theron or Candice Swanepoel. If South Africa is a black african country.
ariesbull: not only Wikipedia, I did quote others and I am an arọ man
Aros a mixture of a clan of Ibibio their overlord, Ankpas collaborators and Igbos slaves cannot tell us who they were and who they are. Igbos were their preys, Wikipedia is for beginners
ariesbull: Even if they are descendants of Iron man.. The bottom line is that ARO is a captured territory ruled by igbo and the 9 villages that make up the village is purely igbo rules BY Eze not obong and the name of ARO is Okigbo meaning the Great Igbo
Now deal with this.
We mark ikeji to celebrate that victory till date... I will invite you to one
ariesbull: I am an Aro.... We migrated from there and we know our warlike attitude
Aro History
Arochukwu is believed to have been the homeland of the Ibibio as they arrived in 300 AD from the Benue valley and founded early states like Obong Okon Ita and Ibom. Many years passed as Igbo immigrants came along and pressed into the Ibibio occupied territory and founded several states.
The first Igbo group were the Ezeagwu group led by Nna Uru. As Aro-Ibibio wars occurred, there was a stalemate. In reaction, Igbo leaders invited a priest named Nnachi from the Edda clan of northeastern Igboland and another group from the east of the Cross River through Nnachi's son Oke Nnachi. These people were identified as the Akpa people as their firearms attracted their Igbo allies. Akpa forces led by Osim and Akuma Nnubi, they helped the Igbo forces capture the area and settled in the Aro region. This formed the alliance of 19 new and old states in the area known as the Arochukwu kingdom around 1650-1700.
The first king (or Eze Aro) of a unified Arochukwu was Akuma but after his death, Oke Nnachi took over and his descendants have the throne to this day. Slave trade hit the hinterland around the same time.
Slave trade formed the Aro Confederacy which was an alliance of the Aros and their related Cross River neighbours (mainly Igbo) which was led by the powerful Eze Aro (king of the Aros), other chiefs, and agents of Ibin Ukpabi. After the confederacy evolved, more Aro businessmen left their homeland to settle in hundreds of settlements mostly in Nigeria and claimed Cameroon, and Equatorial Guinea.
The confederacy was very influential as it monopolized trade in Eastern Nigeria, Delta areas, southern Igala areas and perhaps even beyond the borders of Nigeria by oracular and economical forces. Some slaves were captured by fierce Aro slave raiders and warriors were feared and backed up by allies such as Ohafia, Abam, Bende, Abiriba, Afikpo and other warrior lands that supplied recruiters and mercenaries.

Restrict this your fables to your mother kitchen, never say this gibberish ever again
ibibiogrl: How Many Times am I going to explain to people like you, that Efiik & Ibibio are not the same due to different cultural, traditions, original beliefs, infact the languages aren't that similar; except you consider French & Spanish the same The only group that U can compare to Ibibio is Eket, whom are like ikwerre and Igbo, but they don't deny being Ibibio. They consider themselves subgroup of Ibibio. Oron is the most similar group to Efiik in Akwa Ibom State, they also acknowledge their relationship with Efiks. So if Oron sharing same state with Ibibio aren't even similar, how much more Efik in another state Again Here are the differences between Efik and Ibibio
ibibiogrl: They Are Not the same at all, they don't share origin or traditions like Ikwerre & Igbo. As for the languages, they can understand each other to an extent, just like a Spanish person can understand Italian, except they've lived in each other region, before they can understand more. Having lived in Calabar & Abak, I can explain these in more details.
So you can now see these differences in languages and judge for yourself if they can understand each other.
.
Go to Enugu state UDI local government area to be precise, in one local government they speak three variant of Igbo language that those within this council don't have common understanding My host don't don't understand the dialect of somebody in his local government and you are using 3local government bigger 10 times than UDI local to base your judgment
Have you stayed outside Akwacross for just 1 week?
ibibiogrl: @Afam4eva U can clearly see the differences here in dressing.
.
What is this,do you call this a true indigenous African Ibibio/Efik traditional marriage attire? When did people start wearing white long sleeve shirts and imported materials fit for curtains and furnitures as traditional marriage attires? In the above picture the only original traditional thing is the rod being held by the woman every other thing up there is totally non-indegenous
The original maiden dressing for marriage consists of beads, cloth wrap around the bossom and waist A man is only to tie a wrapper, the above picture is a complete dilution
abulude: I disagree that the history of Yoruba was falsely attached to the Benin for political relevance by the Whites. Your claims are not only irrational, baseless but also laced with sentiments. I would love you to furnish me with literatures and references to back up your unsubstantiated claims. Why would the Whites favour the Yorubas history over the Benin? What makes the Yorubas so special to them? I hope you know that most historical literature about the Benin and the Yoruba were mostly written before Nigeria independence, some before Nigeria was even formed? The word Ile Ibinu (Land of Anger) later corrupted to Benin is a Yoruba word and was coined by Odede. Likewise, the word Ewomika (my hand has reached it) later corrupted to Eweka is a Yoruba phrase. The royal house of Benin, Oyo, Ile-Ife, etc, are all related by blood. Even the Ibini Royalties never dispute or deny this (except commoners like you). I noticed that many of you that often meddle in Benin/Ife issue are not even from Benin. Being from Edo state doesn't mean you're a Benin.
In ancient times, there are tribes, clans and kins all over Africa some of which are related by blood, marriage or via common ancestral relatedness and cultural similarities. It was the creation of countries and states that divided us as a people. For instance, the Okuns, Ijebus, Ijesha, Aworis, Ibadans, Sarkis, Itsekiris, etc, are all kins. The first people to be called the Yorubas are the Oyos (Katunga). Although in recent times, the word Yoruba is used to refer to people with ancestral link to Ile Ife. The Oyos have a great empire that extended from the bank of River Niger to Ibadan and westward into Dahomey and parts of Togo, just as the Ibini empire extend eastward to parts of Niger Delta. Mind you, the Oyos are great people with an organized system of government just as the Ibinis. So, why would they need the Benin to be called great people? Meanwhile, these two great empires (Oyo and Benin) were founded by the same person Odede (also known as Emperor Oranmiyan) the son of Odu'a, the great king of Ile Ife. Invariably, the royalties of Oyo, Ile-Ife, Ibini, Eko, Ijesha, etc, are kins.
In modern era, the Yorubas are known to be educated, intelligent, exposed and are pace-setters, so why would they need anyone to validate them? Politically, the Yorubas need more of its population, education and expose to be relevant not an attachment with Benin. No matter how much you try, you can't change history. To break your heart, I would like to inform you that the Benins just like the Oyos were great in the past not anymore. I get am before no be property.

Very very fraudulent map The Oyo Empire never controlled any seaport

envoymedia: 3 Women Pepper-Spray Seller, Run Away With Lace Wigs From The Store (Photos, Video)
Three women - one pregnant and one carrying a baby - made their way into a beauty store and pretended they wanted to buy wigs, only to end up running off with the wigs after attacking the store attendant, IgbereTV reports.
When the women arrived the store in Florida, USA, the store owner's daughter attended to them and answered all their questions about the hairs, not knowing the plan was to get their hands on the wigs without paying.
After she handed them the wigs on Sunday night, December 12, they pepper-sprayed her and ran away with the wigs.
They later sent messages to the business owner to threaten her and her daughter after their photos and videos were put out.
They also spread lies, claiming the business owner's daughter was rude to them and attacked first.
However, a video released by the store owner shows that was not the case.
