O.P what will you tell God about you contribution to the child's death. You wrote a lot to nail the father of the boy but exonerate yourself as a major player to the child's death.

But you failed Him, you did not go and meet His Dad like you promised.

Your life was the opposite of mine,The black and white we used to have in the Sitting room was transferred to my parents room. I only see my Dad in the morning and when He was on leave, I still suspect my mum told him I was getting too addicted to the game.

Well, maybe our northern brothers are more united or so it seems but a Yoruba man will say the same thing you're saying.

Yorubas believe Igbos are so united because of the monthly family meetings and that an average Yoruba is a backstabber but outsiders would disagree.

The only thing I believe is affecting the igbos is they are more independent than any other Nigerian tribe I know.
It's difficult to elicit homage from someone who went out to hustle, became successful with little or no input from you.He feels less responsible to that community.

If we live in society where others sheild their own, while we castigated our own to be killed, then we can only blame ourselves when we start fighting each other.

How long must the Igbos be marginalised, I am not Igbo but whenever I say this,people tend to ask how are the Igbos being marginalised.
I believe the highest form of marginalisation is singling out a particular tribe and say they can not rule the country,when you find out they've been doing very well privately.
In 2019 elections,I almost wept when top Igbo men ganged up against Peter Obi, even Rev. Mbaka, the past Anambra governor and even Umahi worked against their brother.
Why should people put personal interest above collective interest.
