Nigerian Female Singer Waje, who some days ago made headlines after a 12 minutes video of her lamenting that her musical career was not fruitful enough.

Well today she has something to be happy about as she took to social media to celebrate her daughter’s 20th birthday today, 28 March, 2019.


The singer who raised Emerald as a single mum, celebrated her on Instagram writing;

”God came through for me! Every time he has come through for me! My baby is 20. The most beautiful jewel. Thank you lord for bringing us this far. Happy birthday sweetheart ”



Waje recently said she is frustrated and tired adding that music is not working for her any more.

In a video uploaded on her YouTube page titled ‘Music Is Not For Me’, the artiste said her latest album, which she thinks is one of the best that has come out of Nigeria, has been largely ignored.

According to her, she’s frustrated and tired and she no longer believes music is working for her.

” I have respect in this thing that we do but there is also bowing out when the applause is loudest,” she told members of her team whom she identified as Tolani and Fatima in the video.

“I do not have faith in it anymore. Nobody will say that I have failed or anything. The point is that I am not willing to do this thing anymore. Do you know how much I have invested in this career thing?

“There is nothing wrong with change. There are other things I am good at; maybe it is fair to give it a rest and try other things. If you people do not understand, it is my money that I am spending in this thing and I am tired of putting my money in something that I do not have faith in.

“To be honest, I don’t see why I should continue because it is frustrating. The desire of every entrepreneur is to see proceeds from what they invest in and some sort of awareness that they have a product.

“I can’t have released an album after everybody said Waje, your last album was years ago. All the people that said we need an album, where are they?” She asked members of her team.

Ubi Franklin has just implied that Iyanya might have assaulted Yvonne Nelson, this is coming after Iyanya claimed Ubi assaulted Emma Nyra.


As we all know, there is an ongoing feud between former partners Iyanya and Ubi Franklin of Made Men Music Group, MMG.

In a recent interview published by Native, Ubi Franklin telling his own side of the story refuted all Iyanya’s claims of fraud and dishonest.



When the interviewer, Joey Akan, brought up the widely reported story of him physically assaulting Emma, Ubi Franklin answered saying:

“Have you asked Iyanya what happened between him and Yvonne Nelson?”

Joey Akanr went on to get a confirmation but He only decided to imply, saying:

“(Laughs) It’s, not my mouth you’d hear that thing from. I promised not to say anything or put Iyanya out.”

Veteran Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has read the riot act to “unruly” characters, who hide behind their keypads to spew disrespect.

Mr Eazi has announced that his Canadian tour dates might be rescheduled as he’s having some sensitive issues with the US embassy as his international passport is not being released.

The singer posted the news on his Insta story some days ago, apologizing to fans who have an understanding of the present predicament he’s being faced with from the US embassy.

He also thanked them for keeping up with the story which has made them calm all the way.


Eazi revealed if his passport is not released, he won’t be able to travel out of the UK.

He however said if by close of business today, the issue still hasn’t been resolved, he will work with his team on how to make refunds to the fans who have bought ticket. He as well said he might have to cancel all his March tours in order to avoid future disappointments.


“I wanna thank all my fans for the support & understanding thus far, the update is that my passport is still at the US Embassy here in London and as such even tho i have my Canadian visa, i cannot travel to make it to my show in Canada as i cannot leave the UK without an international passport.



My team will be providing details on rescheduling & refunds etc bless up. Also if by close of business tomorrow i have no word on my passport, i will be rescheduling all my March Tour Dates to avoid further disappointment, of my fans,” Mr Eazi wrote on his Insta story.

Mo Abudu is set to represent Nigeria come the 2019 Emmy Awards.

The card which the movie mogul showed off via her Instagram page on Monday, February 18, 2019, is reported to be proof of her membership as a certified member of the International Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences, the organization which is responsible for staging the Emmy Awards.
