The previous transmission i removed was CVT,written on the dipstick and also inside the manual,but this particular transmission i bought yesterday has "Matic ATF" written on the dipstick,so i am confused whether to use the matic ATF or continue the CVT which i was using before.

does it shift well?

Good evening house. I use a 2007 Nissan versa and it has a CVT transmission. I have been using Nissan NS2 fluid but of recent water found it's way into the transmission and damaged it. So today i went to ladipo and changed the transmission,but i am confused because on the dipstick i am seeing Nissan matic fluid as the recommended written there instead of the usual Nissan NS2. The seller told me it's not all the Nissan versa that use Nissan NS2. Please help me guys because i just poured that Nissan NS2 inside my gear,but i have been worried since morning. I don't want to suffer this gear issues again because of ordinary oil.

Some versa are CVT, some are not CVT but traditional automatic transmission.

Check type is yours.

Nissan has NS-1 for their 1st Gen CVT,
NS-2 for their 2nd gen CVT, and NS-3 for 3rd gen CVT respectively.

I just brought a toyata camry 2008 and have been using it for a month now, i changed the old when i brought it as nigeria used,

I have my check engine light on since i brought it and a tapping sound which my mechanic said they are not serious issues,

I noticed this morning that my check engine light kept blinking non stop, its was stable before but now its always blinking, my mechanic said its not issue but im scaried cos what i read about check engine light is scary

Blinking light indicates you have a misfire. Check your coil, plug, injector or fuel pump.

Also, I'd advise you scan that car to know what's wrong with the car.

My Infiniti FX45 2006 drains power steering fluid quickly and i ca actually see the fluid on the ground in two different positions . One just under the power steering fluid cup but non sign of leakage on the cup itself and the second location is somewhere near the engine (somewhat near the engine oil section) and this one drops on the an hot metal underneath the leak (i think it's exhaust) causing a burning smell. This whole leakage and burning smell only happens immediately parked after a drive, i figured it twice while refuelling but power steering oil drains quickly. The one near the engine is darker and the other is definitely the power steering oil even dripping on the alternator since its right under it.

Have a mechanic check and fix the cause of the leak.

My opinion is you should get a much higher end computer and diagnose to find out what you're dealing with.

I've seen a well maintained car spin it's bearing because the mechanic decided to cheapen out on oil filter during the last oil change.

This will cause an engine failure even when the most expensive and over engineered oil is used.
