I think Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria should also point it's torchlight towards St. Luke's Hospital Anua, Uyo and Specialist Hospital, Abalone Road, Uyo. The staffs and doctors and nurses there are grossly incompetent and also show gross negligence of duties, inconsiderate and outright abandonment of patients who visit the hospital for health purpose.

These are my concerns purchasing a Lexus.

Well, we all know it's what you'd have to live with being in a darned country where quality control is non existent. Also, bear in mind, this is a Lexus, not some BMW or Alfa Romeo or Range Rover. You'd be fine trust me, only ish I see here is slightly reduced power out put and quicker build up of carbon deposits on intake and injectors. The Lexus brands can do well with our sub party quality fuel.

Have it checked properly. Do NOT buy the car cos its a cheap deal. That car has highly complex electronic brake by wire system which when damaged, could set you back by 500,000, that engine when damaged could set you back by over 1million, I'm not gonna talk more about even the AC and electronics system that's also highly complex plus it's parts are pricey. You know that's an S class and 7 series competitor. Have it thoroughly checked before committing cash.

Also, you blamed your mechanic for the woes of your Venza, now when you buy this more complex car you may want to have him ~~maintain~~ destroy it abi?

My guy constantly had a problem between engine and AC. This was the car I first saw the entire system melt. All AC pipes melted, including parts of evaporator and condenser while compressor seized solid. A car that was bought toks and i great condition fell like a pack of cards in a very short time. This same guy used an 05 Hilander before the Tacoma with no issues so I wonder why the Tacoma gave so much trouble.

Hope you know that truck is a 4runner?
Your friend is to blame for any damage to that engine or vehicle. I've seen similar engine easily go over 500k miles. So that's not a manufacturing error but owners carelessness.

My friend nearly died in a Tacoma, that car is a work box but can kill on the highway. This guy had a rollover 3 freaking times in the same freaking car. The same guy is still trying to buy another Tacoma. I told him to take the visor warning seriously. He has a serious scar to show for it.

Besides, the engine and A/C are something else.

It's not the truck that's at fault, it's history and your friend are to be checked.
If it's been in a collision previously it could easily get crumpled, and it's safety compromised. If your friend thinks he's driving an F1 super car on public highways at breakneck speeds, performing sharp sudden maneuvers, he could easily get killed whether it's a Range Rover or a Porsche or a tacoma.

2005 ml and older looks like the 2nd picture which fits d description and price better.

What seals exactly and where ?

To find the seals, you must have the transmission unmated and brought down from the car. There's an out put shaft seal. There's the transmission pump seal too and also transfer case seal. Check this, and also while at it check the integrity of the seals on the engine. If possible, replace all.

Older lexus are no where nearly as reliable as modern Lexus.

07 rx350 ...but that's past now, transmission fail even on new cars.pls provide answers to my questions on seals if you don't mind.

If you're sure it's the transmission that's leaking and not engine oil seal compromised, I fear for your car. That's said, over time due to age and wear and tear and also heat and cooling cycle they could get degraded. If you're not observing any flares or any driveability issues, replace the seals before it gets to the point of no return.

Most times, it's yaw rate sensor out of sync, other times, it's either a Check Engine light malfunction or ABS system malfunction. I had wanted to calibrate the yaw rate sensor on your 2012 4runner truck, but you subtly told me to leave it so I obliged.
