Islam and Christianity prohibits the consumption of alcohol and any alcoholic drinks. I guess you are a Catholic member that is why it hurts you to see the destruction of alcohol. Bear in my that this product is contraband in the North even if 2% of the Northerners consume it that does not legalize it.

I commend our Governor for marrying two wives. Other rich men should emulate him as he has reduced the number of spinsters by two. May God provide husbands for all the single ladies and make it easy for men to marry. Both of them are Governor's wives so no more first lady in Nigeria.

EducationRe: A Kaduna Teacher's Reasons On Why They Failed The Primary Four Test by kingsmaila(m): 8:31am On Oct 12, 2017
This is the problem with the Northern states especially the Hausa speaking states. How can a teacher write this kind of English and you expect him to pass the exam and or impart knowledge to others while he is not qualify. The problem with this is that their government believe ours is ours(Namu namu ne) in employment at the detriment of the people.

Even the so called western people are promiscuous. Pray and make him understand the effect of his actions but do not divorce him as you never can tell if the next man may be worst. If he abuses you or beats you then forget about him but if not and he take good care of you, My sister endure he will still get old and the strength and urge will die soon and he will be all your's.

CareerRe: Shock As 21,780 Kaduna Teachers Fail Primary Four Exams by kingsmaila(m): 8:19am On Oct 11, 2017
akelicious:
About 21,780 out of 33,000 teachers have failed the primary four examination administered to test their competence by the Kaduna State government.

Owing to the mass failure, the state is now shopping for 25,000 new teachers as one of the plans to restore quality to education.

Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State unveiled the planned recruitment when he received a World Bank delegation in Kaduna on Monday, reported the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

“We tested our 33,000 primary school teachers, we gave them primary four examinations and required they must get at least 75 per cent but I am sad to announce that 66 per cent of them failed to get the requirements.

“The hiring of teachers in the past was politicised and we intend to change that by bringing in young and qualified primary school teachers to restore the dignity of education in the state,” the governor said.

He stressed that teachers would be redeployed across the state to balance the teacher-pupil ratio.
“We have a challenge with the teacher-pupil ratio in the urban schools; there is a concentration of teachers that are not needed.

“In some local government areas, it’s a teacher-pupil ratio of 1-9 while in some places it’s 1-100,” he said.
The governor said in a bid to improve the education sector, the school directors decided to enrol their children in public schools starting from this academic session.

The World Bank representative, Dr. Kunle Adekola, expressed appreciation to the state for investing in education and for the priority given to the girl child.

“This state has demonstrated and supported us to achieve our goals,” he said.
Adekola said the World Bank would invest N30 million in Rigasa Primary School, which has a population of about 22,000 pupils, as part of its support for the state.

The Education Intervention Fund by the World Bank and other collaborative development partners is providing support to about 13 Northern states and a state each from the other four geopolitical zones in the country.

If we truly want a change in the Norther educational system we must employ people based on competence irrespective of their state of origin. That was the kind of teacher we had in our time. But now tribalism and religions sentiment has led to the deterioration of the education system in the north especially the Hausa speaking states.

I'm presently on 4.25 after dropping from 4.57 to 4.28 and then to 4.25. I relented due to some issues. Because, I had several options before me so I started losing interest in my course.

Its possible if you can make 5.00 in the 3 semesters.
Christianity EtcRe: I Just Gave My Tithe To A Beggar. Was I Wrong? by kingsmaila(m): 11:05am On Oct 08, 2017
mdokaba1:
It was a very stressful week for me as it involved lots of travels and all. So its a Saturday and I was paid for a project I did for the month past.

Going by my tired nature, I knew deep down me that there was no way I could have made it to church the next day and I was hell bent on paying my tithe because of the inherent blessings therein and the last thing on my mind would be to give it to my nebor to pay it for me. (The guy broke and besides I didn't want him to start calculating my take-home (Na sharp man). And I knew deep down that if I keep the money till the next time I would be in church, I was sure I would spend it. (God have mercy on me sha)

So I decided even before getting home to package my tithe and while in the market on a shopping spree I package my tithe and dropped it in the plate of an old beggar. (A mulsim beggar precisely)

Instantly, I saw 50 shades of shocks on her face as she looked at me for a few seconds and I could read her facials more like "For this Buharia?" Lols. And before I disappeared into the crowd, I could see/read her lips mutter prayers pointing towards me. And deep down, I felt blessed and fulfilled.

But was I wrong to have given my 10percent to a beggar instead of to the alter?

Opinions please.
You are right. Such money should be given to the needies.
CelebritiesRe: “I Don’t Think Men And Women Are Equal, The Man Is The Head” – Tiwa Savage by kingsmaila(m): 4:47pm On Oct 06, 2017
SylvesterRichie:
Speaking on the Midday show on The Beat 99.9FM with OAP Toolz, superstar singer Tiwa Savage has said that she and Tee Billz “are doing what they are doing privately and it should remain private” as a response to Toolz’s question on whether they are back together.

Speaking on gender discrimination in the society, she said:

It’s real. I’m not going to say I’m completely comfortable with it but it is what it is. You have to deal with it. If it means you have to work 10 times harder than your male counterparts, don’t complain about it, do what you have to do. We all celebrate people like Oprah and Mo Abudu and we don’t actually realise what they have to do to get to that point. They probably had to do 20 times than their male counterparts. Once you get there, you don’t complain about how you get there. So, whatever it is you have to do as a female, you just have to get it done.

I know I’ll (ruffle) a few feathers but I also don’t think men and women are equal, I don’t think that’s how God created us that way… Now i know some of the especially in the household anyway. So I think as females when we realise that yeah we can be strong in our career, but when we are home we have to realise that the man is the head of the house.

She said the day she’ll never forget was the day she had her soon after a 22-hour labour, adding that she has a lot of scars on her body to remind her.

She said she’s embracing her stretch marks, adding that if she were not in the entertainment industry, she wouldn’t have tried to lose weight. She said she has a pouch and she isn’t going to do surgery to get rid of it.

She added that she has plans for her stretch marks, which is to paint them in different colours.

She lamented that women are being seen as wrong when issues arise in relationships whether they are right or wrong.

See the other things she said as penned by Toolz:

She came to the interview with no entourage, she even did her own make-up herself, before arriving; cutting costs.

She does not have any extra cast doing her make-up and all. When the camera goes off, it’s just her and her son. No extras around…

She is working on a song with Coldplay and he was very interested in African dances

The structure of the industry abroad is different, she can record a song and it’s out the next day, on the internet, in Africa. But in the international market, it could take up to a year or two for the song to get out

She doesn’t want her son to feel pressured to do music because that’s what she’s doing and he’s a little shy. If he’s dancing and he catches you watching him, he’d stop.

She’d love for her son to be a ball player (basketball or soccer), so he can buy her a retirement home…

Her most embarrassing day is the first day she had to perform at an event in Eko Hotel and her back zip broke and exposed her back/behind.
If she were a guy, she would get away with a lot more. If she were a male artist, she wouldn’t have as much flack
Good mama Jamil. May God bless you and protect your marriage.
