Today I saw a video of Israel bombing a residential area in Beirut and a girl of less than 13 holding a her father crying as they run to somewhere for cover. Please tell us what Lebanon has done to deserve this. Its just like the Nigerian Air Force bombing estates in Maiduguri because they are fighting Boko Haram. What is the rational logic behind that. The Lebanese military is not fighting back and you just attack them indiscriminately.

Football is a heavily Cardiovascular sport.

A lot of young players actually collapse like this annually. Not just in Nigeria too, my friend is a Cardiovascular Surgeon and he can you enough stories about footballers. They are very well monitored medically, even from Academy levels.

The reason you don't hear so much about this is because there are usually equipment available to revive them on the field (yes, a Defibrillator is one of them and the patient must be rushed to a Emergency Trauma Centre ASAP even after his heart has been shocked back into a normal rthymn).

So less Oxygen was needed until his heart was pumping normally. Then you give Oxygen to supplement his breathing whilst monitoring his pulse.

There should have been a fully-equipped medical team on the field.

It's why I don't let my kids play football and I don't encourage school sports, I know our family medical history and the fact that most sporting events have no medical team on standby, so not taking chance.

Like I told someone a month ago, the safest place to hold a Sporting event is at a Sports Stadium and ask to pay for their in-house medical team and inspect all their equipment. Schools should not be hosting sporting events in Nigeria until they get it right.
