You know that government promise of funds is always for the media and factory fitted with enough procedural bottlenecks when it is not intended for embezzlement.

These donations from well meaning Nigerians with legitimate income, will help to provide the urgent healthcare many of the victms require.
First time you made a sensible statement without hate and tribalism. Nice to know you are changing for good. Wish Nigerians could be more reasonable enough to understand that no one chooses his or her tribe. Tribe is by birth and not by choice.

Nope, Ashanti Mampong is different from Asokore mampong. Asante mampong is the capital of the Mampong municipal whiles Asokore mampong is a suburb of Kumasi.
Ok

You seem to know Kumasi. Are you a Nigerian or Ghanaian?

Lol ..asin .ehn..really no biggie..

If I was a guy I would have been very romantic grin...

There was this day..a guy walked up to me..shaking and all..I was like dude calm down.. Nah we we..by the time I just flow with am..he was all better and we became good friends..there's nothing there..

I think the op do not have sister's or did not grow up with much female companies ..that's y he's having this issue..

Anyways..how are yhu doing..
Lol, dude was shaking? Jodha, I know you must have made that guy the chairman of your friendzone list even when his intentions are very clear to you grin grin grin

Probably, he was intimidated by his feelings.

I was like that back then, but not anymore. The nature of my job changed me entirely. Now, I chat and flex with many ladies everyday no matter their levels and classes. I don't think I can be intimidated by any girl again. Highest she can do is to ignore you, especially when she is not in the mood to talk. How you approach them matters most.

Most women are very simple and fun to be with. At same time some of them are very complicated. All the same.

My advice for op is to stop hyping and taking women very seriously even when they appear mean.

Romance / Re: Have You Ever Regretted Saying No To A Person? Why? by Kingxway: 1:31am On Jul 04, 2017
ZarZar:
OK, I don't regret it per se but I've always wondered what if.

I met a "perfect stranger" once, it was when I was about 17 or 18 years old. It was the school holidays & I was going back to my hometown, to spend time with relatives. My sister dropped me off at the bus terminus & I boarded my bus, really not looking forward to the long journey ahead. I was sitting alone, the seat next to me was empty & I put a bag on it on purpose because I didn't feel like small talk with whomever was going to sit next to me. The bus moved from one city to the next, it was there that he boarded the bus. There was not that much available space inside, so I had to give up "my" other seat. I didn't even look up to see who was sitting next to me, I was feeling that much antisocial at the time tongue

A very long moment of silence between us went, but then he broke the ice by asking if it was my 1st time going to EL. I told him no I was born there. He admitted it was his 1st time & that he was going there to meet his brother. The conversation soon moved on to other general things. We were no longer strangers. He talked a lot lol. As he spoke, I was busy "studying" him. He was attractive wink

Long story short, he did some things for me during our trip, that really touched me to the core. 1) was when the bus stopped so we could all stretch some legs & buy refreshments. I've bought food before I boarded the bus but I didn't buy anything to drink. I planned to buy some juice at the place where it stopped. But it was dark & freezing cold outside, so I didn't feel like going outside the heated bus. He said he wanted to buy airtime at the convenient store & asked if I needed anything. I gave him money to bring me some juice. To my surprise, he came back with so many things, he could barely hold them. He gave me back my money & said everything he bought was for me, his "new friend". I almost cried. Honestly, I'm easily touched by random acts of kindness. I was really digging him at this point, just not in a BF/GF kind of way. Anyway, the next morning we arrived at my hometown. It was raining hard. This guy quickly bought an umbrella & we huddled under it like a couple grin I told him I was gonna go catch my taxi home, but he begged me to wait with him. His brother was coming to fetch him. Since he's been good to me & it was his 1st time, I decided to sit with him until his brother arrived. When his brother arrived, he offered to drop me home. Amazingly, we were going to the same part of the city, so it wasn't going to be an inconvenience on their part. His brother told me he had to 1st drop groceries at his house as some things were going to melt. I had no problem going with them because he was talking to his wife on the phone, so I knew I was safe going with them to their house. OMG, when we got there, the wife made such a huge fuss over me. She thought I was the younger brother's GF lol. I explained that we met at the bus, she said but you make such a cute couple blah blah blah grin She said no you can't go home now, you have to come in for breakfast etc. I spent almost 3 hours with them. They were such a lovely family & they treated me like family too. Later they dropped me off at home. I saw them again 2 or 3 times after. I was invited to a party they were throwing. The "boo" gave me his cell number, but I didn't have a phone at the time, so we kinda lost touch that way.

I will never forget those people for as long as I live. Plus I was at a dark place in life at the time, so they really made me feel like I was human, yanno.
wow! So touching. But since, you know where they lived, have you bothered going they to check on them? I believe some of their neighbors might know their way about in case they have parked out of the environment.

Dude might be missing you and wishing for just one more chance to set his eyes on the lady who touched his heart and disappeared grin grin

What a world!!!

Wow! Nice to know that some of our secondary schools have been there for years. Unfortunately, Nigerians go school but don't allow school go through them. That's why you see a strength filled young men being eaten up by tribalism as if anyone had the power to choose his tribe before birth. There are really lots of intelligent fools in this country

LOL, you've mistaken me for someone else the. Because this is my main moniker.
I'm based at accra, I school there maybe one of these holidays, I'll go there.

I know it's common but as a stranger if you've money, you're good to go. I think it's everywhere, everyone wants the best for their children.
Naa. Deborah, I know you very well here. Right from the first day you joined this forum. I mentioned Sinaj to come claim her sister from Ghana. Wish I can dig out the thread.

Sure, that's true. Money answers almost all things.

I guess I'm just after what brought me here for now. If not, with the way I joke with them, I may not even consider dating before having access.

LOL, I can't remember sef grin
Yea Ghanaian women are curvy, in Nigeria, you'll sweat before you see a curvy lady. But in Ghana, it's everywhere. I don't know much about the Ashantis, my aunty is at Kumasi. I've never been there sef. Thanks once again.

But why are you scared of pregnancy? You shouldn't touch them unless you're going to be serious with her. But sex isn't a priority.
Yeah, I think that was with your precious moniker. Don't know if you have deactivated it.

I think you should try visit Kumasi in your next visit to Ghana. It is one of the busy towns in the country, if not the busiest, though may not be compared to some Nigerian towns.

The temptation is just high as one strive to overlook the curves of these daughters of Eve. Nobody is perfect you know. Pregnancy outside marriage is very common here oo. Just that, if she gets pregnant for you as a stranger or point you as the one responsible for it even when you are not, just be rest assured that almost all your life savings if not all is gone. grin grin

Not that I don't want to get into serious relationship, I'm just being careful. It's common among the Akans. Don't know much about the Northerners and Voltarians.

Don't worry, I can also relate. I grew up in Nigeria so when I got back to my country, I was always mistakem for a Nigerian but things are better now that I've gotten a grip. Nice meeting you.
I like Ghanaians. Majority of them are peaceful and calm. Less religious and tribal discrimination. Most of their women, though not extremely beautiful but very curvy and enticing especially the Ashantis and Fantis. I have many chances of hooking up with their ladies, just that I'm afraid of the consequences that accompany any case of pregnancy, especially when you are a stranger.

The only thing I hate about them is the maternal heritage that trend among the Ashantis, Fantis and the rest of Akan tribes.

lol... so you are more like omo Naija. Nice meeting you too Ohemaa. I know you from the first day you registered on this forum. I was among those that welcomed you on your first thread here, though with my other moniker, back then when I was in Lagos

LOL, I'm from volta region. Hohoe district. So I'm justified. tongue tongue
Ok, that's ewe by tribe. Nevertheless, learn how to speak twi well as Ashantis influence on other tribes has automatically made it Ghana's general (if not official) language.

I'm a Nigerian anyway. One can't just hide the fact that he is a stranger among the Ashantis. Lol... Most people I come in contact with here keep asking me "Please, are you a Nigerian?" grin smiley I'm getting used to the question anyway smiley smiley
