Not a big fan of El Rufai but I think there should be a complete overhaul of the educational system and if people are going to lose their jobs as teachers because they are INCOMPETENT it's only fair for the future of the children. If we want to be sentimental about it then he can create other avenues for those that lose their jobs. #ProtecttheFuture |
as someone said " Na so Burnaboy wan do Nigerian police like Wizkid do Shatta Wale " |
Awesome work you have here, well put together and the suspense is just right.
Keep writing, the effort you put into this is worth it. Cheers |
À lot of people calling this discipline don't know what discipline is. Your parents put fear in you and you don't know how it has affected you till today. You think you turned out fine but honestly you did not, you need help because this is what causes all the domestic violence in our country, the notion that people must be beaten as a sign of discipline. Communication is key you just need to change your mindset and listen more. The young lady will grow up and forget about it but it will linger in her subconscious forever and she will create a new character (which is not who she really is) that will be ideal for her parents and at the end of the day nothing has been fixed. |
It's so interesting how the first thing that comes to men's minds when they hear feminism is gender roles. It is a harmless ideology yet men are always feeling attacked when they hear the word. As with all ideologies it is open to misinterpretation but this looks more like men are intimidated (cue the talk about physical superiority). It is quite simply ignorance that makes people feel defensive about it. Get over it my guy, there's so much more to feminism than who pays for what or physical assault such as glass ceilings for women(which they are constantly breaking thank God), harassment and the one that makes me feel uncomfortable the most is the condescending remarks of some guys. It's a never ending process for me because I am learning and unlearning and so far my understanding is that women should be allowed to have choices in whatever and shouldn't be judged for them just the same way we guys are. |
see how all the people that didn't get love from their parents are opening their yansh for us to see. go born your own face front mind your business Happy birthday to the beautiful baby girl. |
It is honestly so hard to argue with a (Nigerian) Trump supporter simply because he has the backing of some "Evangelical Pastors" and you already know Nigerians don't play with their Men of God. You wan tryyy?? Satanist this Satanist that, your oh so God sent leader is the most uncouth person ever and it doesn't have anything to do with propaganda. Let's not even talk about his obsession with Obama Everybody knows Obama wasn't the best leader but to blindly compare his poise to this person you have in the Whitehouse, give the black man some credit. The black man worked twice as hard as this man and had to be twice as nice to get to that position. Trump is even a failed businessman if we are really going to scrutinise the guy sef but ah "God sent him to bring stability to the world" if we really look am, it looks like the world will end sooner with Trump at the helm and tbh e don do sef. God come carry us go |

Shame on you!!!! shame shame shame SHAAAMMMEEE! Do better next time.
Big person like you just shame on you. If you liked this post quoted, shame on you as well. |
I really pray I honestly pray that something tangible comes out of this. I hope this man gets to be arrested but considering all the comments I see here I doubt that's the case because it just looks like people (MEN ESPECIALLY) think that if it is not rape , it isn't a big deal but it is. You can't touch people without permission and expect that shit to fly. We Nigerians are always forming high morals but the decadent ones we have around us we never tell them to stop their misbehaviour except everyone is doing that. We have to do better as a society, and you know what's really funny about this is that DEEP DOWN IN ALL THE GUYS HEARTS HERE WE KNOW THIS "HONOURABLE" TOUCHED THE WOMAN INAPPROPRIATELY. Respect should not be dependent on who you are or what you do, it is a very basic trait that should be extended to everyone regardless of what job they do or what they wear. Don't touch people inappropriately in the name of jokes |
goingape1:This is what we call a "brain fart", you no even reason am you just type am post. Shame no even catch you as you type this thing finish come press post? Shame on you, big shame on you. Shame shame shame SHAAAMME!! And if you liked his post, shame on you too. |
FeloniousFelon:So they pay them to not have mouths to speak or to not have choices? We Nigerians live in constant oppression so we do not understand what it means to oppose the powers that be. Anybody that tries is silenced by the public AND the government. You cannot win a war when you don't know the true enemy. |
Bootybuttchic:Well said. I am 100% in support of this. Some people don't think beyond the confines of their small mindsets and experiences. |
This is an amazing story cause it really really really riles me up and just gets me angry but thats how you know it's an awesome work of fiction. On that note, men are not children and should be held responsible, nobody from outside a marriage "destroys" a marriage, also I believe Micheal has to serve time for raping someone. It is only right. God forgives but man has to maintain stability in society hence the existence of law and order. If I start, i won't end lol. Keep going PamelB. You are doing amazing. |
I have been on the lookout for you, hope you have been good. this looks interesting Are you writing a new story anytime soon? I always look forward to your work |
Nigerians and big words what does "ultra modern" mean and how come it is ultra modern and still "semi mechanised"? The project is a good one, I am just finding the choice of words funny |
100% sure this one no be "Nigerian youth" na our elder brother be this. Say na "change must start with you". As you don start your change, wetin don change for your area? fuel price don reduce? abi dollar don reduce for your end? Show us your way na abeg #IStandwithTubaba |
this is an amazing read. I have been captivated from the first words. this is beyond what words can describe. I however like to imagine what I read and sometimes Junior sounds like a white kid and I am not too sure where Durza is from or prophet Ezekiel. maybe a little more injection of the culture of the characters into their dialogues perhaps like you did with Oniel who was speaking pidgin at some point. It is an amazing read and you are doing great Abeg nor vex oh for the "criticism" 2017 is your year man. |
Nairaland guys will be like "she was dressed indecently, small children of nowadays" Hope he gets jail time. Demon |
Judging a book by its cover, aren't we? Kontinu |
How can he be a paedophile, has "sex" with the minors and you say he didn't rape them? What logic are we operating with here abeg? That minors enjoy sex because they know what sex is and understand the implications of their actions? The age of consent is there because that is the age at which people should be able to decide what they want and know the implications and consequences of their action, if they do not know (especially when it comes to sex) it is RAPE. So for all you paedophiles on here, God dey see unna well well. |
kelspleen10:what the Bleep do you mean ? These are small children who do not even understand what sex is, man this is some weird shit you have written. |
jude33084:Wow, you just might be a paedophile from this your comment. To even suggest what u are suggesting is sickening but God dey |
The advert Abati was talking about in his article is what I just saw on Nairaland. The article makes you think you know, the stigma rape victims suffer is why they don't come out more, we need to assure them that they are doing the right thing by reporting and not castigate them for other people's actions

This guy has to be trolling walahi. If not, its just another misogynist post that needs to be left in 1720. |
2 heads are better than one |
The wise Wizkid once said "Spend your money if you think it is easy".. This guy worked hard for this, abeg flex. Our turn will come |
See friend-ception |
The woman is innocent until the court declares she is guilty. Trial by the masses that is what the government is using to spoil people's names, allowing the media label who is corrupt and who isn't. We need to be wiser abeg do you think that kind of money would be taken by a woman in our own misogynist Nigeria and all the men in the government will just sit down and watch her carry it ![]() If indeed she is guilty then justice must be served but calling her names will not bring the verdict. Cancer is a terrible thing, hopefully her treatments work so she recovers. |
saasala:HOL UP HOL UP NIGGAA.. I understand your anger but did you say BITE OFF THE CAP OF HIS PENIS And you meant it?? |
So when you beat or "discipline" a child, you do it out of love right? So this child will grow up thinking that love must hurt right?.. Discipline can be done without having to beat your child because sincerely it is very confusing for a child, I mean one minute you are beating them the next u are telling them sorry, at that tender age how do you think they take that. I am against flogging sha but that is my own opinion |
Keep going, I like that Oluchi is now being protective and not just heartbroken. Wonderful work |
cooljoe:I loved both books, especially Windmill of the gods. You should read Dante's Inferno by Dan Brown, another amazing read |
