This form of writing originates from the Efiks (In the present day Cross River State) and some parts of Akwa Ibom State. Its a special kind of writing system used by the Ekpe Community (A unique/colourful masquerade) in communicating between persons who were members of the Ekpe society. In Nigeria, even if you studied Animal Science you are a Doctor as long as you have the connections. And we think this strike will end when those doctors own their exorbitant private hospitals and are making cool cash. Its only in Nigeria that you see a qualified Pharmacologist like the Late Dora Akunyuli being sent to the Information bureau instead of Health. Our current Minister is a total disappointment. He has signed millions of MOU yet nothing is changing. God help us 1 Like |

My experience was very embarrassing! After watching Champions League match late into the night on saturday, I slept around 2am, which was a Sunday. In church that morning, I couldn't hold back the sleep, even though I fought hard, so I allowed the sleep take its course. While sleeping, I dreamt of a mighty wind tossing the coconut tree while me and my friends were under the tree. As the wind progressed, one of the coconut fruit fell. In a hurry I screamed 'Run... Its falling down'. Only to wake up and find people all starring at me... I'm sure I screamed at the top of my voice... Its was so shameful 15 Likes |
