A very good example of what I mean is www.mymusic.com.ng, I know it has to mean me making some kind of deal with network service provides like MTN and the rest, but then that is all I know about it. please anybody with an idea of how to go about it can comment. Help a brother out here. Thanks as you help. shocked

it's very much possible to now accept airtime as method of payment on your platform. Just like the way paystack works. this will only require "airtime PIN" instead of "ATM Card details" to complete payment instantly on any web.

Sports / Why It Is Very Difficult For An African Player To Become World’s Best by kinkonp: 9:22am On Sep 23, 2017
Former Super Eagles captain Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha has said it is “twice difficult” for an African to emerge as the best player in the world. The retired midfielder said this on Friday while being interviewed on CNN shortly after Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar were shortlisted for the 2017 FIFA Men Best Footballer award.

Okocha, who twice came close to winning the African footballer of the year award, said players from the continent have to contend with a great deal of pressure, hence limiting their ability to compete.
“I think as an African player, it is twice more difficult for you to win it,” he said.

“Because from onset your are playing on different kind of pressure- pressure to push yourself, pressure to eradicate poverty, pressure to be successful and I think by doing that, you will lose focus sometimes and quit trying to be the best because you have other things you are worried about.

“To an extent, I think yes. I have to accept with Yaya Touré because it’s very rare as an African that you will sign for a team and you will be fully accepted.

“You will have to prove yourself. I can even give you an example. At some clubs, they don’t even like to sign African players because of the African Nations Cup.

“The timing of it… it happens in January. But we are working towards that. Maybe we will just adjust our calendar to give the next generation better opportunity to win it.”

Liberian George Weah is the only African to have won the world’s best player of the year award.

Speaking further on the supremacy rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Okocha said: “They are not normal because it is unreal for you to be that consistent because I played the game and I know how difficult it is.

“I think luckily for both if them, they brought out the best in each other. I think they brought out the hunger in each other to be up there. To prove that one is better than the other.

“So, I think by doing that they kept their games up there.”

Phones / 5 Basic Things Your Next Android Phone Needs To Have by kinkonp: 11:14am On Sep 21, 2017
Gone were the days of java, android has taken over the market all over the world although there are pretty much people using java software and iOS but I can boastfully tell you that there are more android users.

I know that buying Android phones these days aren't difficult, who'd ever thought android would have version 8 and the rest, remembere the Android 2.0 and many other version before it went up to kit-kat and up to marshmallow then lollipop.

So if probably you still using one of those androids with lesser version and wants to upgrade then here are few things your next android needs to have.

At Least 3GB-4GB of RAM
Well I would suggest you get a phone of at least 3GB or at most 4GB RAM, presently I use a phone of 2GB RAM and I can tell you how slow it is for me, doing all my minimizing and stuff like that, so if you are someone that loves minimizing app like me you'd better get a phone of 3GB - 4GB RAM

Long Lasting Battery Life
Gone were the days on carrying power banks around, when mobile phone were still using 2,800mah and the rest nowadays you'd see phones of 3,000mah, 4,000mah and even more so lovely readers if you want to save yourself from carrying power banks around go get a phone with 4,000mah and above.

A High-Quality Camera
I don't fancy taking pictures but to those that do you'd understand what I mean by high quality camera, no one wants a blurred image or a low quality image not especially when it would be uploaded to social media, so when buying your next android go for 16mp and even more.

Massive Storage Space
Well I use a phone of 16GB internal memory someone would say its enough but hell not it ain't enough am a fan of movies and I download movies a lot, so if you love downloading large files I'd suggest that your next android should have a memory space of 16GB and above.

Good Connectivity
I once used a phone whereby its 2G and 3G were automatic that's it can't be changed it switches to 2G when the network is bad and back to 3G when the network is good that was frustrating really frustrating but latest innovations are out you have 4G and 5G so when buying your next android go for one with 4G or 5G for good connectivity.

Technology has greatly improved so with the few points above getting a good smartphone won't be a heck of a problem to you.

So share your thought on the specs, of the new smartphone you have in mind.

The Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities, ASUU, has officially suspended its one month, six days strike.

Crime / Policeman Shots Dead A Final Year Student Over Refusal To Give N100 Bribe by kinkonp: 9:47pm On Sep 11, 2017
A policeman has allegedly shot to death one Imo Ekanem, a final year student of the Department of Mass Communication, Uyo City Polytechnic, Nduetong Oku, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, over the victim’s refusal to give N100 bribe.

The deceased who was searched, but when nothing incriminating was found on him by one of the policemen attached to the special squad the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zubairu Muazu, sent to the area to confront recurrent cult activities, the Police Officer asked for bribe. An eyewitness, Usung Simeon told Punch that when he refused to, he was shot dead.

Simeon said,

“He was shot dead after a heated argument with one of the policemen. Because the activities of the cultists are always carried out with the use of motorbikes, the police have been conducting stop-and-search operations.

So, they just stopped him and subjected him to a search, but nothing was found on him. We were surprised that the police demanded for N100 bribe. His refusal to part with the money infuriated one of the policemen, who cocked his gun and shot him at close range.”

Confirming the incident, the State’s Police PRO, DSP Chukwu Ikechukwu, denied that Ekanem was killed for refusing to give the policeman a N100 bribe. According to him, Ekanem reportedly tried to collect the rifle from the policeman, who shot and killed him in self-defence.

He said;

“The matter was not about N100 issue, though the police is still investigating the case.

After our meeting today (Monday), the CP has directed the Area Commander, Ikot Ekpene, to transfer the matter to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Ikot Akpanabia, for thorough investigation,”

He said everything necessary would be done to ensure that justice is served.
