Hello guys
Can one get a reminder for IHS surcharge I tried to Pay for IHS surcharge but the amount displayed on the screen is not the correct amount I called the customer care and I was told to submit like that a top up link will be sent but I have not received a top up link.

Secondly if a top up link is sent and is not received will a reminder/follow up be sent to the applicant

Nothing yet, yesterday makes it exactly 5 weeks since my HR filled for my CoS. I thought universities researchers have special status. Its quite disappointing. I'm supposed to resume in first week of February. After next week, universities will be closed for the winter break, so it means till January. I regret rejecting all my other research offers. Finger crossed anyways

Are you the first person they are sponsoring and have the school tried to reach them February is still far what about people that there visa is valid till January and no response yet

It's quite frustrating with UKVI causing delays for everyone, including universities processing Certificates of Sponsorship (COS). My university applied for my COS on November 3rd, and so far, there's been no word from UKVI, according to our HR. I'm hoping that those who had their employers apply for COS in November have received a response, so I can feel more at ease. I just hope I won't regret turning down other research offers for the UK. Frustrating situation.

I received this mail today after my third paid mail.
For those that have gotten this mail, how long does it take for collection mail to follow.
Someone said this means visa has been approved. Is this always the case?

If your visa has been granted, a visa vignette (sticker) will be stuck inside your passport with 3 months validity (from the start of your visa) to travel.

You will be contacted by VFS/TLS when your passport is ready for collection, or delivery of your passport.

You should confirm the deadline for resumption from the school.

I’ve had similar mails even though mine was a standard visa. It took a while to be resolved.

When it’s time please follow up with paid calls

If you notice you may not make it on time, please notify the school on options for deferring if you can’t make it before thedeadline
