My friend, you just said the truth. I stopped posting any information on nairaland because of what happened when I pasted info on NIMC recruitment. I got the info from a member of the board but to my surprise, something different happened this same day I got the info. When I called the man he couldn't explain how it happened. So you guys should be patient. I don't think anything meaningful will come out from NIS until July/August, 2013. Even people at FCSC know that NIS and Fire Service are going to recruit in the second quarter of the year. What I think we should do now is to pray for devine favour because even when they rercruit, they can't recruit everybody. SHALOM!

Ok. She just applied this morning. In fact, from the way she described this hotel, I was tempted to apply but what stopped me is the pay. Being a new hotel, they may not pay much. Thanks all the same.

yasuleiman: Its a new hotel. If she has marketing experience, am very sure she would be paid more than that. There are other incentives for Marketers. She should give it a try.

My fellow nairalanders, have you ever wondered why many years (say 6 yrs) of marriage and relationship fail? Why do we have so many broken marriages and relationship in our time than our ancestors'? You see many guys and ladies this days who say to their patner they are no more interested in the relationship after 5 or more years. You can only open another RSA with another PFA when you must have closed the former one. What the Pension Fund Act 2004 says is that you can move from one PFA to another if you are not satisfied with any of the PFAs service, BUT you must not operate two RSAs. If you do you will have problem accessing your retirement benefit.

My brother, Pensions Alliance Limited (PAL Pensions) has outstanding service delivery and competitive returns RSA. They will alart you as soon as your employer remits your retirement savings contribution to them and even when they didn't, you will know because they will notify you. They will tell you the vital documents you must not misplace and how to safeguide them so that you wouldn't have problem in accessing your savings after retirement. They have acquired two other PFA and UBA is their custodian. If you are in Lagos, they have their head office at Marina (UBA Building). You can visit www.palpensions.com for further information. Friends, though I am in Ibadan, I can't accept hard copy of your C.V because it is too late to do that. just check their website, if the vacancy is still available, just upload your C.V. Since you live at Ibadan, you can try your luck by submitting it at their Ibadan regional office. The office is on the 2nd floor of a building beside Favours Pharmacy Bodija.

@deturla, why do you want to leave bank for PFA? If it is because of stress and work hours, you may be making the right decision but if it is for the pay, hmm, I doubt if PAL Pensions pays its entry level up to what banks pay. You still stand a chance.

@Omidan21, You can use either. If you are using 2003, save as doc template while on 2007, save as doc template 98-2003.

1. Yes, it means you should send your cv and application letter or cover letter to the email given. Application letter is the same thing as cover letter.
2. Type your C.V and cover letter using ms world 2010 and save as pdf instead of doc. But if you are using lower versions of ms world, you will need pdf converter to be able to convert your document to pdf. After this you can then send it as pdf.
3. Yes, provided you have their hr's email address or there is a way you can upload your C.V on their career portal. They may call you if you are lucky or meet their requirements.
4. There is no much difference between them.

For those asking how to answer question on salary, even if you know how much the company pays for the position you applied for, never give that figure if asked to say your salary expectation. For instance, if the company pays 100k, give them a range of 100k to 120k. But if the recruiter insists you give a round figure, then mention what they pay. Hope this helps.
