Concerning the NIS information I promised to share, I am sorry, I could not ask my contact when I called him. What he told me made me not to raise the issue. He said 2 days ago, they had over 1000 illegal immigrants issues to attend to and that the CG is out of the country. I guess this is why nothing is really happening yet. Thanks my people. If you are interested, you can use your o'level result, though the recruitment has closed. You can pay ur way later after you are into the system.

My information is on Nigerian Customs Service. My people, please don't only put your eggs in one basket(Immigration), but also consider other "basket" like Customs. Just last two months Customs employed drivers all over Nigeria. You may not believe me, but I'm sure of my facts before saying anything. The drivers have resumed work. I GUESS THE RECRUITMENT WAS STRICTLY MAN-KNOW-MAN. I will post the authentic information about Immigration very soon. WATCHOUT!

Hmmm. I think your submission is a enough clue for the wise to act fast. Honestly, for a while now I have not been able to get in touch with my contact in NIS. I am trying to get authentic information from him and as soon as I get it, it will be shared here(though some people will still not believe).

Wow! I love the comments of everybody. Honestly, some so-called preachers could be very annoying. On the 10th September, I boarded a cab from Orita Challenge to Mokola, before I knew what was happening, a guy started preaching against ladies wearing trousers, fixing their hairs(i.e using weavon), earrhng, etc. It was very irritating.

Not at all. I meant to say if the Government had wanted to prohibit preaching in the bus, it would have been boldly written on the bus. There is a saying that "where there is no law, there is no sin." Even when I was not in support of him preaching at that point in time, there was little or nothing I could. So, the best I did was to make use of my handsfree device. Me just dey listen to music while he and the driver dey do dia own.

There was no instruction against it. So, I see no reason why the driver (even if he is muslim) should against it.

I boarded "Ajumobi Shuttle" today, on my way to Dugbe from Iwo Road. Before we get to NECO Office at Gate, a young man started sharing the word of God in the bus. As soon as he started, the driver just inserted Orlando Owo disc and tuned the volume to the peak, that the people beside the young man couldn't even hear him anylonger. This driver didn't tune down the volume of the bus tape, even with the pleads of the passengers. Please my people, is it wrong to preach in public transport?

Why the rush when you can get it done after your pop on 10th Oct. Application closing date is 20th October. So, I suggest you hold on. If you go ahead, you are disqualified already. No offence.

I'm not surprised that some folks here still doubt or refute that something is going on in Civil Defence, because even many people doubted(and are still doubting) the NIS recruitment. So, if you like call it rumour. Na u sabi.

I don't know the pay for GL06, but GL07 is 70k while GL08 is 120k. Yes, I still have my dancing shoe o. I don't know the time for training but I am sure it will be stated on the appointment letter. My prayer is that it shouldn't fall on when Immigration will call for test, because I will port once I get NIS AP o(nkan ju nkan lo). I prefer NIS to Civil Defence. The list is for both junior and senior cadres. Yes, I collected the form. As for phone number, I am sorry, please you don't have to call me because I just shared all I know.

My agent called me last week Monday to tell me the list was out and both me and two other friends of mine were picked. He said the list has been forwarded to HQR and that we should make sure our phones are always on because they we soon call us for our appointment letters. I DID NOT PASTE IT HERE BECAUSE OF THE "THOMAS" AMONGST US.

No, you can only do through the banks listed on their website. But I don't think you can recharge from any of these banks for now. A friend who went to Ecobank on Friday to fund his ewallat was told to check bank this week. I funded my ewallat using my gtbank atm card.

Did you resize your passport photo to 15 kb or less? Because if the image is large it may not upload properly. May sure you put the correct date (dd/mm/yy)

HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT USING YOUR ATM CARD: (you don't have to wait for bank forever.
1. visit www.pay4me.com to register a new account.
2. Validate your account from the mail sent to your email. When validating your account, ALWAYS take note or write down your answers to the 3 security questions you will be asked.
3. After validation, a 4-dight PIN will be sent to your mail box, login to your pay4me account to change your PIN(though you might be prompted to change it at the point of validation).
4. Logon to your Immigration recruitment portal by clicking on "Edit Application". Make the necessary corrections, as you will not be allowed to do so once you validate and submit your application.
5. Proceed to make payment(I assume you already know how to get to this stage), select "e-wallet" payment option. Answer any security question you might be asked.
6. Fund your ewallet account by either printing the acknowledge slip which contains your ewallet Account Number, Transaction Number and Application Number and take it to any of the banks used by pay4me and get your account loaded within few minutes OR use your ATM CARD to fund it. But you may encounter little challenge if you have not activated your Card for online transactions or not having a "Token".
7. If you made the payment via ATM CARD, your "Validation Code" will be generated immediately but if it's made via bank, you may have to login into your pay4me page to see if your account has been creditted. After that, go to the recruitment portal to make payment.

8. Finally, click on "Print Acknowledgment Slip" and enter your validation code and Application Number.
9. IT'S NOT EVEN AS HARD AS IT APPEARS HERE O. JUST FOLLOW THE STEPS AND PAY MORE ATTENTION TO INSTRUCTIONS. No one explained this to me.

YES. Just make sure you select Polytechnic you finished from(sate or federal) under the "post sec type" and choose your qualification under "QUALIFICATION"

@Rom1, who told you that column has no Pass? You try pick Polytechnic in "Post Secondary Type" and see if there will not be Pass in the "Post Sec Grade"

With this, you have an upper hand in securing the job. I heard from a very reliable source that those with third class can't get the job. I know I may be critised, but that is just the truth. My source can't be wrong because he told me on Sunday night that NIS will start recruitment on Monday before the advert came out on Monday. So I believe my source has a first-hand information about NIS. I am sorry if I didn't say it well. It's quite unfortunate that Nigeria is gradually turning to something else.

Wen I received this Immigration recruitment tru , I immediately googled it nd there I saw comments of pipu arguing for nd against d authencity of d recruitment. I then visited d website provided by dem nd saw where u can apply. The PROBLEM wif us is that we r too eager to apply for jobs as its base on first come first serve(I understand d network prob buh dats d sacrifice) while not wait for some dayz nd see weather d Immigration(frm its HQ) or bodies will refute or confirm d alledged recruitment. The sad fin is that these scammers nw have agents every where commenting on evry post confirming the authencity of anyfin be it on Fb..twitter..naijajobs..or even here on Nairaland. PLEASE I aint sayin this recruitment isn't real oooo, I am jux sayin u shud make ur findings accurate b4 proceeding.
