slimthugchimee:For the babe abi? |
I happen to be among the lucky fans that got selected by itel mobile for their fans hangout last week Saturday. The event which held in Ikeja in my honest opinion was fun-filled and exceeded my expectations. www.nairaland.com/attachments/4400693_unnamedqqscreenshot20161025172836_pngdaa859b73eb6fc036a9a378d47bd93cf Got there some minutes before 12pm and met some other fans at the red carpet where i exchanged pleasantries. The event started with the national anthem (actually think this is cool instead of opening prayers that many people do). www.nairaland.com/attachments/4400721_unnamedqqscreenshot20161025173038_png1d73ae0edb36f313106456d8eec28f76 Keynote and welcome speech was done by an itel staff. (she is probably the most beautiful chinese lady i have seen in my life. Her accent alone was refreshingly sweet.) www.nairaland.com/attachments/4400722_unnamedqqscreenshot20161025173053_pngb1c67b2c15f3fd0b81250c9537b70e9c After her speech, we the fans introduced ourselves stating what we do, how we got invited and so on. Immediately after the introductions, the itel social media executive Mr Temitope falana spoke to us and said itel Mobile love us the fans and they are always looking to produce phones that would bring joy to the masses. He said itel produces smartphone with the consumers satisfaction as top priority. That Tope was just speaking like a pastor. LOL The most interesting speech of the day definitely is the one from the itel Digital Marketing manager. Think Oke is his name. He explained that itel target market are the youngsters hence the slogan "Join & Enjoy". He went on to give an insight into how itel was established in 2007 in Hong-Kong, how they have expanded to Africa, the mission and vision of itel and ended up by previewing the new it1516Plus 5000mAh battery phone as well as the incoming itel S11 which snaps you automatically when you smile (very cool feature). www.nairaland.com/attachments/4400694_unnamedqqscreenshot20161025172900_png553fe017c6c8c36ade8e7cdc4d2354ae Immediately after his speech, we the fans had our time. Some fans came out to give their genuine feedback on what they think about itel and what they need to improve on. This first speaker almost finished itel sha (But i think it is needed if they want to improve). www.nairaland.com/attachments/4400695_unnamedqqscreenshot20161025172917_png7acfa1c903b9a846e0bd13a680670162 Did i forget to say the lunch they served us was cool. Biggest chicken i have eaten this year..LOOL Before we took group pictures, they allowed us test the new phones. i did not dull myself to test the smile to snap feature of the S11 to be sure what the itel staff said was true or not. Well, it actually snapped me when i smiled. (My girlfriend would like that phone and think i would get one for her when itel release the phone in Nov/Dec as they said). The games part were quite funny though especially the dart game. One baba that was forming boss could not throw dart and hit the target. Before leaving, we got goodie bags from itel. My goodie bag contained itel wrist watch, cup, pens, books, face towel and opener. www.nairaland.com/attachments/4400720_unnamedqqscreenshot20161025173020_pnge3ddad8cd35336a18a349c48007d9cc0 I was personally fulfilled as i networked with fellow fans and make some new friends. I also think the idea of a fans hangout is a cool idea from itel mobile. They would build fans loyalty while also getting to hear from people like us on what they need to improve on. www.nairaland.com/attachments/4400723_unnamedqqscreenshot20161025173009_pngc2d30de7541d5bc45b129564f9bd8543 So na so i spend my Saturday oo...Looking forward to another edition..if not for anything but for the games, food and to see that beautiful chinese lady again |
mustynsd:seriously, you missed out bro. Just wrote an account of the whole activities. would post here soon |
stalyf:That phone go make sense. It just need to be affordable for many Nigerians to get it |
Itel mobile seem to truly understand the fact that customers and fans are king and must be treated specially. Nice one itel, keep it up |
itel it1516Plus is value for money |
deewon56:camera is average, browsing is normal but battery is surperb. My colleague use her own for 3 days without charging |
Ochillary:which one exactly? |
mustynsd:3C HUB, MicroStation shops and the prices range from 25k to 27k depending on where you live |
deewon56:My colleague is using it in the office. Would collect it from him and do a detailed review of the itel it1516Plus later this week |
Iamtosignno:tHIS IS NOT A gionee thread joor |
lanre316:CC @itelMobileNG, this comment should be taken seriously |
adaugo96:Same thing i have heard. seems this is one of itel mobile best phones |
Dailyfavour:With cheap Glo data, do people still go for rooting?? |
lanre316:Well, i totally agree with you. I shared this same concern with an itel staff, her statement was that putting an HD screen would have increased the price by 7k, meaning the phone would have been selling for over 32k. We all know Nigerians are price conscious |
Mafia4life:No mind them. They saw it was not easy doing hardware |
Pandorabox:Camera is 5MP and it is quite clear judging by other phones of similar MP. |
datyrone:I agree with you if you were referring to those first set of itel phones. But i can assure you that itel mobile have seriously stepped up in their recent phones. This it1516Plus is a money saver really |
clerkent:Any major smartphone shop is selling it now |
LabiaDestroyerr:LOOOL. Oga, wetin itel do you? |
Ochillary:My dear, what is the issue? have you used an itel phone before or you are saying this base on what you read online?? |
