How i wish i can hack, would have tried it ASAP.

Oga OP, not all Android phones are OTG compatible. Hence i am happy my itel 1556 big battery phone is one of the few that has OTG ability and i use it to charge my other devices

I have been pretty comfortable with the Android 5.1 on my itel 1507. Think Android lollipod is the most stable

I remember trying it on my mum's itel 1408 phone. It did not work. Airtel is just somehow

Recently, the company where i worked banned 3rd party WIFI softwares on the company's internet. Being a heavy mobile Internet user, i looked for ways to still connect the Company's Internet to my itel it1556 phone. Note that the WIFI in my company only directly connect to Laptop and PC.

A liitle research brought me the solution, which is Wireless Hosted Network. This concept of Wireless Hosted network was introduced in Windows 7. By using this feature we can easily create a virtual wireless adapter. To do this we only require a CMD (Command Prompt!) with Administrator privileges. And best of all you can connect to another WiFi when Hosted Network is running.

The process i would give below describes some of the commands that are available only in Windows 7 or Windows 8.0, 10 Ready PC.


1) Start button. Type "cmd" in the box then right click on it. The CMD will pop up then select run as Administrator.

2) Device Check. Type netsh wlan show drivers in cmd and press enter.

In the output Hosted network supported: Yes means that your computer supports hosted networks. Verify this.

3) Create. Type netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=Happy key=adminspot in CMD. This will create a Hotspot but it is currently offline.

4) Go to Start. Type netsh wlan start hostednetwork in command prompt to start the hotspot you just created.

5) Go to Start Button. Type view network connections. To share your Internet, right click on the Connection that you use to connect to internet and select properties. In properties go to Sharing tab and check the box "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection and select the network connection name that is used by your hotspot. (For this check the Network Connection Window and look for Connection which says Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter). And save it.

Now your internet connection is shared.

Now you’re set to connect on your devices, open to Wi-Fi and connect with the password you created.

How can i do all these things?

Android smartphones are found almost everywhere, and they range from low to high end smartphones. All of them will slow down with time; just like my itel it1556, this is why it's important to maintain your smartphone's smoothness.

1. Update your smartphone firmware.
The updates fix some bugs, add new features, and other issues that you may not be aware of. Such issues crop up with reasonable frequency, so updating regularly will ensure the optimum performance for your phone.

2. Reset your Android phone.
Resetting erases everything and brings your phone back to its original, "as new" condition. This is a temporary option, because as you use your phone again, it will suffer the same behavior again. But make sure you back up the necessary files on your phone such as contacts, apps, videos and pictures

3. Check the internal memory space.
Low amount of internal memory could be the reason behind any severe lag that your phone is experiencing. You could Move your media (pictures, mp3 files, videos, and so forth) to the external memory, usually an SD card.

4. Uninstall unused applications.
This helps alot

5. Restart the phone.
This is a temporary option, but it works!

to the best of my knowledge, it1516 is coming out with a RAM bigger than 512MB

If your battery isn't charging properly, don't immediately assume your phone charger or your battery is broken. Based on personal experience on my itel it1550, the problem as well as solution may be much simpler than you think.

If your phone or tablet isn't charging properly or at all, take a look at these ways to fix a phone that won't charge.

So you mean because they are selling cheap phones, they should pack poo in a box with screen and a big battery and call it an android phone. I am talking from experience as I currently have. two itel phones under 1 year old dumped in one corner of my room completely useless. As you can see am not talking for myself but enlightening those who may bite their fingers sooner after buying. You can check out these budget phones if you care. Gionee M3 mini, Techno L5 etc. I can confidently say they are better. Don't bother yourself, time will tell. Its just that I'm always touched each time I see people rant in phone section as some mistakes could be averted.
I repeat, until Itel produces something worth buying at reasonable price, I wish them well. Good day.

M3 is 31 while L5 is 37k on Jumia. Bros, talk true, you just dislike itel mobile hence all these your ranting
