My people Finally finally it haff come,indeed its a beautiful thing,to some of us this ITA is the first golden mail,PPR will be the second.

The journey has been long,u know how it is your birthday and u start thinking of new things for the coming year. Canada crossed my mind and I came to nairaland for info,like I usually do. after about 2weeks of reading I felt it was such an easy peasy process especially because CRS then was in the 430s. I swung into action in October by requesting for transcripts, in my mind it will all be over by sept 2018,little did I know unilag and CIC had other ideas. This is is the last draw before I get the big chop(-5) in a few days,so u can imagine how anxious I have been this past few days.
I want to thank you all for being a support system that made the last few Wednesdays bearable,cos I always wished for a back to back so every week has been harrowing.
Special shout out to our very delectable newmum0615,only God can bless you for me,to @stonecoldcafe thanks for reading my rants sis,@luffyhaki ur response to my PM was really appreciated,I will give you feedback self,don't want to make this longer...Thank you everyone,time to go dust out my docs..

Hasn't been easy but God has a reason for everything.

Was refreshing the email ircc sends application updates too for the silver mail. Only for me to check another email i didn't give them and there was the update I've been waiting for.

How long does ICES take to verify your result and how much. Thanks

It took one month from when they received my transcript by email,this includes delivery to the Canadian address I used. This was back in February tho
Costs $275 to deliver to a naija address and $236 or thereabouts to deliver to an address in canada.

Last draw cutoff was 440..so if no upgrade.. Cash is gone.

ECA is not ready,doesn't know when it will be ready,once she misses remarking after the 6weeks mark,its gone forever,you never know what will be happening with CRS by the time ECA is out,trust me that feeling of regret isn't a pretty one in a bid to save 15k

Someone responded to you.
You can only do it after AOR,you will get an email in your MyCiC account requesting for your biometrics(if needed) right after u get AOR so watch out for it. Someone posted this a few days ago. As for walk in or appointment, I have no idea,if I was the one at this stage I'd call vfs to find out.

Good morning all. I wrote ielts on July 7 with IDP and requested for EOR because my writing was 6.5. I"ve been checking online every morning but noticed this morning that the score has been upgraded to 7.0. My question is can I open a profile to get ITA with the TRF number online (on the results page) or I need to wait for the hard copy.

You meant u have been in the pool since Nov with 440?

Been in the pool since March,been on the journey since October,ECA took 6months,no thanks to Unilag.

Remember, no online soft copy anywhere .. It comes as hard copy via courier of 75cad int'l or 26cad domestic. So people should look for good friends or folks to use their mailing addresses in receiving it and scanning to you. Maybe later post it to u or keep it till u land in Canada. You save cash that way.. If no pal or trust and too much... 75cad + 200cad it is!

Yea that's exactly what I did,changed my mind and sent to an address in Canny and was refunded $49. Both report and cheque still çooling off over there.

I was just thinking,why can't WES borrow a leaf from German Consulate,what they request for is WAEC or NECO scratch card/pin from applicants instead of this back and forth verification.
I don't think it's age discrepancy that they are interested in,I think it's the authenticity of the result because some transcripts don't have date of birth like Unizik.

ICES doesn't do verification, once your transcript is received,they start evaluation and get back to you once its ready.

@Kmgb,please your transcript did it specify mode of study part time or full time as specified in the ICES website.
My contact in Unizik said the mode of study is not included in the transcript and they don't issue any letter indicating that as well as the campus location.
Please can you throw more insight on that.Thanks
