Hello is there any student coming to st.Clair College in Windsor or a family of not more than 3 needing a short term accommodation? There's a fully furnished room with living area and full washroom available at a highly serene and sought after neighborhood in Windsor ON. Message if interested! |

Hi everyone,my spouse submitted his application via dropbox on 7th Nov,from then till about 3days ago our dashboard read Passport still at US embassy, however it changed to Document delivery information on Tuesday,he went to dhl yesterday Friday and he was told passport is still at the embassy.
My question..what should we expect next, can a request for him to schedule Interview still be updated on our dashboard,or it should have come by now if it was going to be requested
@Omobendel24 and everyone pls your thoughts |

laghopeful20181: yes, received ita in september. was about to submit today when i realised ielts expired 3rd of November. Declined ITA now. Back in the pool. He will do ielts on 1st December. Meanwhile our police certificates will expire 7th december so we will need to redo them too and i will loose 5 points in 2 weeks because of a change in my age
God knows best. PCC are valid for 6months according to IRCC not 3 written on it |

laghopeful20181: Good morning people,
I am post ITA (5 days left to submit before my deadline). I was uploading supporting documents and cross checking them when I realised my husband's IELTS expired on the 3rd of November (I am the principal applicant). Without his IELTS our score drops to 438 and we would not qualify for the draw from which we were selected (cut off was 441). I have modified family information and changed him to unaccompanying spouse...score becomes 451 hence the children and I can go ahead to submit without him. Note also I loose 5 points in 2 weeks due to age change. Our choices as I understand them are either 1. Submit without him, sponsor him as a spouse when we get ppr and land 2. Decline invitation, get him to write IELTS, hope he scores well enough and get back in the pool. However with this option, there is the added complication of 5 points lost due to age change...so what's the guarantee we score high enough to meet cut off! I used the CRS tool, using 6666 for IELTS score for him and using my new age... our score would be 442
My questions are: A. Is there any other option I have not already considered? B. How long does spousal sponsorship take?(I have researched but you know timeline given by CIC and reality of life sometimes differ and I would prefer to base my decisons on reality) C. My research indicates that I will not be able to add him after AOR (since it is not a new marriage...visa officer might wonder why the sudden change of mind?). Additionally, I am not sure if even if it is possible to add him after AOR, score will not be recalculated using the fact that he had no valid IELTS at time of ITA received. Is this research accurate or is there a possibility of adding him legally after AOR?
I'm so upset at myself for not paying attention to the IELTS expiry date...this is a lesson to all. As I understand it, unfortunately only age is frozen upon receipt of ITA..IELTS result is not frozen. My dear the best option is no 2 since even with 6666,you will be at 442,that means if he does slightly better sef u can be @ 445. Since he is not reluctant to accompany you i suggest you reject the ITA ,let him retake the next available test, once u have his result and get ITA,you submit almost immediately. My thots |

simplyalero: don't they have the Trf form with them? The answers they seek is on the form both the test date and the Trf result date. Because if they put any date different from what is on the Test report form when uploading after ITA, that will be the misrepresentation they fear. so they should check their forms. if they don't have it, they should wait till they get to be on the safer side. U guys should chill na...I can mistakenly input 8 instead of 7 on a date even if my intention was to input 7,it happens all the time,Its called a typo, because the drop down calendar will put 7 beside 8 right? The misrepresentation bruhaha in all these is if my result form carries 7th which is on a Wednesday however I had filled and created my profile on a Monday prior, imputting 8 and then after the result is out on Wednesday, I go back to correct it to 8,my gcms note will show i created my profile before the test date of the result I used which is a problem, however if I inputted my score anytime after result was out and I made a mistake, changing it shouldn't give me high bp,that's why we go over our answers several times before submitting. |

OmoBendel24: What you heard is correct, but I doubt if you still have enough time for this to be effected. You most likely will not be able to get interviewed on Tuesday. But then, try and fill another form now with PASSPORT COMPULSORILY UPLOADED, and change the DS160 number on your profile. Do that now, no more time.
In short, just quickly generate a new number and update your profile first now even without submitting yet. Hi OmoBendel I'm in the same situation, pls help. Mine is a renewal via drop box,do I absolutely have to fill another ds160 ? If so,pls run me through .. I Fill another form, update my profile with the new ds160 no,print new ds160/and new interview waiver form and I'm home and dry? Abeg no vex for my 21 questions |

DatechMan: I am yet to meet many people that have stayed in Windsor. It is in the far South West of Ontario bordering the US. It is far from Toronto and the GTA. There are not many jobs there and it's impossible to commute daily to Toronto. The city is best known for it's Automotive industry and Tourism. It all depends on what your reasons are, it could be a nice place to stay Thank you! I thought u mentioned landing there in the past,so i wanted to hear from someone who lives there to tell us about the feel of the city itself like someone did on Winnipeg few pages back, reason why I mentioned you, maybe I mixed up the monikers, sorry about that and thanks for responding anyway. |

Estac: I registered with my ITA letter. However, I submitted my application and got updated UCI before the date I picked for my session. So I was able to attend with my updated UCI This is exactly what I did. Hope to get updated UCI before the date I picked. So @shyee go ahead and apply with your ITA(use the CAN000 UCI) but choose a date that will be at least 30days from AOR so ur UCI would've been updated before the day of the session. |
