The President is in Saudi now. Two possible outcomes
1. He comes back alive, everything returns to status quo ( go slow) and completes his term. Within this option, he can contest again ( very unlikely though) or another northerner is presented by the PDP ( remember the power shift is supposed to be a PDP(only) policy even though other parties seem to go along with it) to serve for one tenure only ( another unlikely case) which means the north will serve/rule for either One term (of UMY) or three straight terms.
2. The President doesn't make it/ resigns ( that's a joke ) and then we have a. Jonathan resigning which brings about a major constitutional and national crisis or b. Jonathan becoming president which leaves the north as losers in the PDP zoning system which will then mean Goodluck will spend the remaining of this term fighting opposition and trying to secure his personal ticket.
Personally, I feel presidency under jonathan is going to be similar to UMY because they are both weak-willed, their wives share the same hunger for money and power, (remember she was indicted by EFCC for money laundering,) and so there is not going to be much difference for Nigerians (IN MY OPINION)
