I think it's okay for you to pay tithe to widows and orphans cos tithe is more of YOUR GIVING than OTHERS RECEIVING. So about if you are giving it to man or to God?

Based on understanding of the scripture and not spurious reason.
Example
1. God predestinated that one of the twelve will betray Jesus, thats a predestinated purpose, however it was not that it had to be Judas, could have been Peter, James, Thomas etc but the choices Judas made i.e love of money that made him the son of perdition
2. Apostle Paul was predestinated to carry the Gospel to the heathen, however left to his choices,he probably would never have come close, what happened? A divine interruption occurred that changed the course of Paul's life.
So we are free moral agents, but at some specific situation where God has something particular to achieve, you decisions will just fall in line or divinity steps in.

I don't know why there so much issue about this. If the 'big' christians of like say, Nigeria have a minister's conference and then after they come out and declare unanimously that God doesnt exist or that Christianity is a ruse, would it mean that they are correct? You know as well as i do that that will be insufficient reason to say that God doesnt exist (He exists, infact He lives, mind you)

Every man is a free moral agent, however, when God has a particular purpose to achieve in you, what happens is your decisions, just seem to have a way of falling in line with his purpose even when YOU ABSOLUTELY made those decisions on your own. On the matter of predestination, i personally don't believe it refers to particular individuals PER SE, i think it's more of 'if you go this way, these are the things that will happen, so you can be predestinated once you WILL to follow the path of God.

@ndipe, am seriously feeling you, however u have not clarified the time Angels were created so for the benefit of others, lets go back to Genesis

1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (full stop)
1:2 And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God upon the face of the waters.

This Scripture shows that God was before the beginning(that needs to be established), at the point of beginning, the first things he created were heaven and earth, not Angels!!!!
In between verse 1 and verse 2, is a lot of time in which Angels were created and and Lucifer revolted and was cast down to earth (which i personally believe was the cause of the 'formlessness' of the earth since i know God wouldn't creat an ugly, formless earth)
