Nigerians are just wicked! They don't mind killing everyone to make money. That's why Nigeria is a dumping ground for Fake Drugs. I wish I could work with NAFDAC. They need People like me!!!
Politics / Re: It's Official: Nigeria Not Among World's Most Corrupt Nations by knight4u(m): 8:34am On Nov 02, 2009
ROSSIKE:

We have issues with corruption make no mistake.

But we're hardly among the 'most corrupt' nations in the world.

According to the latest Transparency International rankings, Nigeria is LESS corrupt than the following nations:

Indonesia
Venezuela
Libya
Pakistan
Russia
Ukraine
Taijikistan
Iran
Philippines
Paraguay
Syria
Kyrgyzstan
Ecuador
Azerbaijan
Sao Tome and Principe
Belarus
Iraq
Ivory Coast
Angola
Kenya
Cameroon
Togo
Yemen
Laos
Viet Nam
Kazakhstan
Turkmenistan
Uzbekistan
Bangladesh
Eritrea
Papua New Guinea
Ethiopia
Guyana
Honduras
Mozambique
Uganda
Comoros
Cambodia
Nicaragua
Afghanistan
Timor-Leste
Myanmar
Liberia
Sierra Leone
Zimbabwe
Somalia
DRC Congo
Burundi
Sudan
Guinea
Central African Republic
Tonga
Haiti
Congo, Republic
Gambia
Guinea-Bissau
Equatorial Guinea
Chad

Considering that just a few short years ago, Nigeria was straight up NO 1 on this very list as ''the most corrupt nation in the world'', I would say we've made considerable progress in tackling this problem over the last few years.

Kudos to all concerned for the remarkable progress thus far made. cool cool

PS: To those who have a special problem with this post, please direct all queries to Transparency International, the officially recognised global corruption watchdog.

Many thanks! wink wink
Is this supposed to make us happy? We really need help in Nigeria: DEREGULATON, POWER PROBLEM, CORRUPTION, DILAPIDATING EDUCATIIONAL SYSTEM, ELECTiON MALPRACTICES ETC,
What is there to be happy about? shocked

tosynkenny:

I guess this could be helpful for those that would be invited for the uac interview:

i dont know if uac changes its interview style but the uac interview for management trainees that was done abt 2 years ago was in this format written below;

1. Be prepared to face a panel of interviewers

You will be divided into groups of about 10 interviewees
2. You will be given a passage to read and you would be asked to discuss your opinion based on the passage you read, the panel interviewers would be watching while the group discussion goes on.

3. Each of you would be asked to pick a topic from a pool of topics that would have been written down in small sheets of paper(recent happenings in the country and in different sectors of the economy), each person would be asked to step out to pick the topic , after which you would give a presentation on that topic for about 5-10 minutes, it is very important to be very much conversant with current happenings in the world.

4.You would then proceed to individual interview, where each of you would be called in one after the other to face the interview panel.

You must be well prepared for the individual presentation that is keep abreast of everything that appears to be news and that calls for national attention.
Ensure you speak intelligently and confidently.
Make sure you market yourself well because that is what they want you to do, they want to know your worth.

I sincerely wish you the very best.
I hope this will be helpful

Pls anyone with any addition should pls include it

Thanks sweetheart. You are a darling!

Business / Re: Nokia Care! What A Hoax, Those Guys Should Be Sent Packing. by knight4u(m): 5:19am On Sep 29, 2009
It's not just Nokia Care Centre, virtually all service providers In Nigeria are rude! I think it has to do with the way we treat one another in this country. So, if a service provider comes from outside the country, they quickly adapt. Like the old adage goes: "When you are in Rome, behave like the Romans."
