It depends on the crop. You can can use fresh blood meal from slaughter house. Mix one liter of it in four liters of water and apply as soil drench. Ugu loves this like made.

Sodium Bicarbonate, it is used locally in bread making as leavening agent.

What you are having is downy mildew...Its a kind of fungi disease that occurs when too much of humidity and water disturbs the plants. You can remove affected plants to reduce it spreading to other plant. keeping plant dry will help. Four table spoons of baking soda in four liter used as foliar spray and soil drench will help you alt their spread.

Neem oil and black soap will also help if you can combine them.

That my friend is a chronic nitrogen deficiency, the leaves drying from the stalk outwards...get yourself liquid fertilizer and spray on the leaves...immediately you see changes, follow it up with phosphorus needed for fruiting and good quality fruit

how will som1 get phosphorus?

I didn't use anything, what I noticed was that the pests were only able tamper with the smaller ones within a week or 2weeks old which were already damaged when I noticed, so I just left some and crushed some of the pests cos the other fruits are bigger and older for them would have gone for pesticide if not

That's serious lack of nutrients. How old are they? You can resuscitate with blood meal. Mix one liter of fresh blood (gotten from Abattoir) in four liters of water and apply as soil drench. But if fruiting, then you need liquid fertilizer.

Am having the same problem... Spotted yellow latter turning brown and drying up... Hope this is not cuccumber ebola..... Am thinking of using both insecticides and fungicides cos it might be some insect carrying the virus

Go to any agro shops who sales chemicals, tell them u want any fungicide that contain copper oxide...... I know of KOXIDE.

am having the same challenges @soloxam and come across this suggestion, I wanto ask if Z-Force contain carbon oxide. Pls I need help
