774 LG areas X 2000 personnel = 1,548,000 persons. We can afford it as a country.

I read somewhere that 40 LG areas are not under the Federal Government.

I am proposing a proposal of stationing 1000 police officer & 1000 military officers in every LG area, I think this measures would make it almost impossible for any LG to be overrun by terrorist or Bandits and in the event of an attack on a LG, not only would d attackers have to contend with 2000 armed men, they might have to contend with another 6000 armed men from neighbouring LG who may be deployed to the side of the attacked LG.

I think all 3 leading contenders in d presidency must implement this measure as a matter as urgency.

The benefits to d Local economy

With 2000 men drawing salaries on a monthly basis,?that alone would rejuvenate d local economy, as this personnel would be living with their wives & families thereby making d Local economy to be boisterous.

So it’s a win-win for Nigeria as wealth would trickle down to long forgotten LG areas.


What is your take guys on this.

Freeze both Federal & State accounts 2 weeks to election. If d states need money they can borrow from d banks for 2 weeks.

they know their game... buying of vote is what the CBN is trying to curb with this policy but the politicians who sees it as a means to their victory will not stop and watch CBN jeopardise their plans.

Buhari has to support d CBN Governor no matter what.

That's the problem... it would have been good had it been someone can run the government all alone.. corruption would have reduced drastically but since for government to work, many people are needed.. that's why it's difficult to have a corrupt free government mostly in Africa.

The problem is we don’t have strong institutions. But having said that d CBN’s monetary policy would strengthen our institutions. So would be the idea of freezing all accounts a week to elections.

Dotun Okupe took 200 million from Dasuki & he is now telling us the goodness & virtue of Peter Obi. Come on, there are no saints amongst d people running for d presidency.

Every body just want to grab power & start enjoying. Is it all those long throat Labour Party people wey never chop bellefull. I beg.

Ebonyi is APC governoship candidate

Enugu even tho LP have a strong candidate obidients adopts the APGA candidate .

Agreed there seems to be some consensus. I have airey feeling this election is done & dusted for Obi just d way d country could feel d pulse in 2011 when Jonathan won.
