Thinking does not lead to hypertension because as man is a rational being, he must think. From my findings and research done in Nigeria, the following in no particular order are the causes of hypertension.

1. Sedentary lifestyle
2. Lack of Physical exercises ( this should not be mistaken for headless running Helter and skelter everyday)
3. Poor diet ( Heavy carbs and fatty foods)
4 Massive consumption of salt
5 Excessive beer consumption
6 Smoking
7 Stress( mostly work and business related)
8 Air polluted environment
9. Massive consumption of junks
10 Rare checking of blood pressure reading.

Well, anyone can frame up and claims online. One person can have 2 to 30 Nairaland accounts and use them as different persons to share testimonies and put threads on Nairaland.
