This is a typical experience that I had some years ago. mine was that the young girl just came out of high school and her uncle employed her to work in the filling station .I was just in my second year in the university so to cut the long story short, she was an angel. I was driving my fathers car so I now made it a point of duty to buy fuel 3 times daily in that gas station and in her pump. we eventually become ordinary friends. she can never do anything with you because she had it in mind that you want to take advantage of her situation fuel attendant.
so bros take a chill pill and just be friends with her for now, mine took me two years when she was gained admission in the university and feel she is my mate before we get it kicking.we almost get married before I left for abroad to further my studies, and she was married when I was back and we still keep in touch.

Something has been bothering me so I decided to share it here. One Sunday evening a friend of mine drove me on his bike to a nearby filling station to my house and the lady who served me the fuel was a very pretty lady. I fell in love with her on first sight and ask for her number which she gave me and I started calling her on phone and she does respond well to any of my calls. We later met at a planned place after she closed from work last week. Then she told me few things about her that she stays with her sister that she just came to Ibadan from benue state and that she just spent four months in Ibadan and at the place of work.

I asked her her salary, it was then she told me she collects #10k per month. I pity her and told her if we know better I will help her get better offer. The most painful thing was that this lady works round the clock. From Monday to Sunday and she must resume 6am and closes 8pm at night.

I said to myself which kind of job is this...
Later as we were chatting she perceived beer odour coming from my mouth and said she does not like anyone that drink beer and I promised her I won't take beer again cos of her and she said no problem...

Since then if I call her she will pick and tell me she is busy that she doesn't have time. After two days, she did not even pick my calls again. I love this lady so much and I don't want to lose her. I am confused right now. Pls what should I do? Should I go and meet her there or I should leave her or is it because of the beer she was discouraged or what? Pls nairalanders I need advice[/quote]

I live in United States doing good with my degrees here.

According to our blog reader (eyewitness) who was in G.AGOFURE MOTORS heading to Warri from Lagos that the robber was caught in the act.

The story line is this;

He is a passenger and was arguing that he must sit at the back sit with his friend who is much younger than him

THE ROBBER

‎He even refuse a lady to sit at the back. So he sat close to his gang to provide shield for him while he search the bags of passengers close to him.

The woman of the bag he was searching, started hearing noise and looked back only to discover that the guy (thief) was holding her towel

‎And argument started, the guy was arguing that the towel belonged to him and so the driver stopped the bus

The guy just opened the door and started running but the driver chased him and push him down before other people supported him

Luckily, there were police around and the guy was arrested at Ibafo Ogun state.

If you earn $200k an have no savings, that is because you are a poor money manager living above your means. Maybe aside living in manhattan or downtown LA, $200k is a lot of money and you can live a very good life and have solid savings.
What is 200k a year, people are still living in fantasy world if you think 200k is good enough. You got a mortgage of 2500 monthly pay a property tax of 200 then pay the huge bills and still got some good cars and stuff and then you add sundry expenses and you think that is enough? I figured out a way of making money but not from my pay stuff. My mates in Nigeria are talking about 200 million dollars and some body is talking about 200k. This abroad is good if you just want to live in a good place but still you can get killed by strayed bullet. So one is not even secured here.The writer Mada some good points here.

I'm glad OP made the distinction between obodo oyinbo and U.S. I'm not here to tell you that there's milk & honey flowing in the U.S or the streets are paved with gold, but I can confidently say you have better opportunities in the U.S than you do in Europe. Like anything in life, good information and the determination to make use of that information will make you very successful. Unfortunately, some Nigerians travel overseas and squander their opportunities. Or their so called relatives in the U.S never guide them because many of them made stupid mistakes by either studying the wrong courses in school or made poor choices ex fathering several babies and being tied to pay child support for many years to mention just a few.

Let me have this on record, if you happen to visit the U.S with a greencard, I can personally guide you towards earning an associate degree under 2-3yrs or bachelors within 4yrs all depends on how much credits you carry over. And if you are hardworking and live in the right state, willing to work overtime, you can easily start making a minimum of $200,000 a year. Look at my other posts, I don't sell ebook or give false hopes. Not every 'obodo oyinbo' is the same.
