I want to make enquiry about FUTA Direct Entry. Have anyone been admitted via CAPS or school list? I have a friend who is feeling left out. Kindly quote or mention me if you have anything on FUTA. Thanks. Cc Opera1, Capslock01. |
Institution: University of Lagos Course: Building Level: 200 |
There's definitely light at the end of the tunnel. @OP, I'm banking on you! Got my tent pitched. Anticipating your future posts. Thanks. |
Benblaq:Make una bring groom price. Lol I think 2.65 is Lower Credit, right? I will suggest state universities like OOU, UNIOSUN and Co. If she wants to try federal universities, only FUTMINNA and some northern federals accepts lower. Choose wisely. Research the school choices exclusively. My regards to her. |
Benblaq:My bad. I'm sorry, I just checked Jamb's site to confirm. I was shocked myself seeing how the sales of DE was matched with UTME. All the same, it's not an issue. The only issue now is that her statement of result or certificate should be ready as soon as possible, and hope her rewritten course won't affect her CGPA in anyway? If otherwise, the results should be available around March/April. If that's feasible, she can obtain the form now, fill awaiting results for OND (means she won't upload her results), and wait for the portal to be reopened after a while when Foundation/Jupeb, A'levels, IJMB holders and others will be chanced to upload their results. |
Benblaq:The form is usually out after UTME has been done and dusted. Around May/June. Though, last year the form came out around July/August and lasted till October. Regarding your last question, It depends on her choice. Like I mentioned before, she should either use UTME or HND as backup. Though BSc would be great, HND isn't bad either. Some folks spend years at home after ND hoping to gain admission via DE and neglect HND. And later they'll end up doing HND in the long run. |
Benblaq:If your results will be out before mid-year when DE form will be out, please you can obtain the form. Though I would advice UTME or HND for backup. Cheers! |
Njobdinio: Smarty98:About N25,000-N26,000 when the portal was last opened for freshers. They might probably open it once again for Supplementary list and DE students. NB: Bed balloting is on a first come, first serve basis. And the criteria to be met before being eligible for balloting online is to have paid school fees and should have completed some registrations. Keep checking the school site for DSA announcements as regarding hostel accommodation. Good luck. |
Darasimiolu:I guess. After awaiting for few days, the next is for the "Accept Admission" button to be activated. cutiedave:Congratulations too. Which course are you in for? |
cutiedave:Same here. ![]() |
cutiedave:Same shoes! All will be well. |
cutiedave:Cool. They're getting somewhere. Is yours among the ones you posted or you're still anticipating? I rep Environmental Science though. |
cutiedave:What about yours bro? I would love to see proof though. ![]() |
Darasimiolu:Keep checking CAPS on your Jamb profile. For now, no DE aspirant has been admitted. To your second question, can I see a screenshot of how it looks like now? Though what you really need now on your Jamb profile is the CAPS section. |
Just few minutes ago, I was able to upload my OND result (finally changed from score to grade). So I won't be visiting Unilag with any yeye letter anytime soon. Guys, go complete your applications. Stay blessed. Cc cutiedave
|
originalDfzr:It only applies to HND. Other diplomas are still the same with Score instead of Grade. I will wait till Monday. Maybe I'll write a letter like others. cutiedave:Boss you can keep tabs on CAPS. The option is now available on Jamb site. Though my status is still the usual "Not Admitted" |
cutiedave:Same here bro. I keep checking it every now and then. Nothing! Yet whoever is managing the site keeps updating the headline news. |
miketd92:Thank you. I have the latest version of Kingroot already but it doesn't work because I rooted it myself later and I made a mistake by deleting something from the root folder. It got corrupted so I had to upgrade the firmware (amigo) to the latest. Then ever since then, Kingroot doesn't work anymore. If I could get a previous version of the firmware, I'd be grateful though. Thanks for your response by the way. God bless. |
Cutiedave, what's up with the OND uploading? Have you submitted your application? |
cutiedave:okay bro. Thanks. |
cutiedave:So in other words, I shouldn't submit right? |
What will happen if I don't submit my application tonight? Because as at the time I'm composing this post, the Diploma (OND, HND and other diplomas) options still can't save and continue due to a null error I think. I used NCE option and filled my OND details but I haven't submitted yet. Cc cutiedave |
cutiedave:Thanks bro. God bless. I knew all they wanted was the money. We'll come out victorious when the list finally pops up by God's grace. |
I want to pay on my mobile and also complete application. Is the application form in a readable format (PDF probably)? Or a PHP (prompts for printing immediately without option to download and print later). Help a friend abeg ☺ Cc cutiedave Alarcrity12 MoElla Ayotunde911 |
I just can't find a way to root my phone. Ordinary root. Abeg come help me oo. Both the apk and PC versions of Kingroot failed to root my phone. Please kindly list the steps involved in rooting the GN5001s. PS: I bought the phone at Ikeja (UK used they claimed) and it was rooted when he gave me. I was amused but I just ignored it. When I got home, I restored the phone back to factory settings and found out it was fully Chinese. Ever since then, I have been trying to root it and it keeps failing. cc superiorinferno

jonglexer:I thought as much. I was scared when someone told me he spent N2500. Jamb UTME candidates were only charged N250 (I don't know of any prior Remita payment though) for uploading of their o'levels at the cbt centre I did my registration. Please share the procedures you took before it was uploaded. Thanks. |
j0sh001:Did you pay via Remitta or cash when you got to the centre? And can you kindly explain what procedures from the payment to the uploading. Thanks. |
jonglexer:Do visit the nearest accredited centre to upload your result. Please do quote me when you finally do it. I need to know the amount charged because I'm in your shoes as well. Thanks! |
promo4:Have you been able to find a solution to this? If you haven't, shoot me a mail✉. |
bless6:visit Jamb.gov.ng to download brochure. Use a computer or chrome on mobile to access the website. Download the brochure that best suites your desired course and institution. Check the course details to the know if Lasu accepts ND for it. |
rollUP:God will not trouble you. No go Sokoto when what you're looking for is inside your sokoto. Next time, download a list of certified cbt centres on Jamb's website to know the nearest centres to you. From Ogba or Ikeja or Grammar School or Berger, take a bus (or NAPEP if the case may be) going towards Agidingbi or ACME road. Alight at Second gate, just after the traffic light. We have Zenith Bank across the street and BOULOUS (SUZUKI distributor) on the other side. Just ask of WAEC office from anyone around. They'll point you to the building. That's where I did mine by the way. God bless. |
davbravo:Thanks for the prompt response. So, no need of obtaining another form (Unilag's) other than Jamb's Direct Entry? i.e. we shouldn't be expecting Unilag to sell any sort of application form to direct entry applicants? |
