My point is simple - There's nothing unusual or incredulous about a pastor being arrested in the UK and this wouldnt be the first time an Rccg pastor will be arrested in the UK. In view of this, I have no basis to dismiss issue No.1 above... However for No.2, I do not believe the reason given for why the pastor was arrested.
Please feel free to disbelieve the entire story if you wish, but I have made my own point.

1. Even in a place like Nigeria, the Law is clear that an arrest can and should only take place when there is a valid reason for it. Basically, when there is no valid reason, there ought not to exist an arrest.

2. Your pastor gave you the reason for the arrest. That reason turned out to be invalid for an arrest and he also indicated this happened out in the West where Freedom of Speech is considered sacrosanct. It becomes safe to conclude there was NEVER any such arrest as the one described by your lying Pastor Adeboye.

Every day in the West, people including pastors who meet arrest requirements have arrest warrants enforced against them by law. If we count the number of pastors who were arrested today, December 2nd, 2024, alone, we might come up with a number above 10. The issue isn't whether a pastor was arrested but whether a pastor was arrested for speaking freely his mind. That is what never happened.

Again, the only rational reason to believe a story is if you have evidence that proves the credibility of the claim made. Otherwise, you have nothing more than a story and should treat it as such.

3. I didn't do any such you accuse me of. As soon as I read this article, I went straight to Google and even used the ChatGPT AI to investigate if there has indeed been any arrest in any of the Western countries that fit the pattern put forward by this man and the result came back zero. Yes, ChatGPT or Google AI explained that an arrest of such kind would be a violation of Freedom of Speech which is upheld even at the UN level where all of those Western countries are signatories.
