The working conditions and situation for the average Nigerian worker, some of who work for companies owned by these supposedly rich people is nothing to be compared to that obtained by those who work with Amazon. So, abeg, thank you ... come again! 🙄

➜Tax break be extended to any company which the visiting Nigerians decide to patronize (Once they give you the vouchers, you can give some to FIRS in lieu of taxes). The visiting Nigerians have the choice of walking into any establishment and using their coupons.(This eliminates bias of selection of whether an establishment is owned by a rich or poor Nigerian).
➜This is a moot point. This is a tried and tested model in many economy models. Its modified version of travel miles, credit card points, And yes it will stimulate the economy, increase employment, without necessarily deploying physical cash by the federal government. If you still dont understand do a little research....its not voodoo, i promise.
If you have ever had people visiting Nigeria or visited Nigeria yourself, you would note that there are businesses you almost instinctively stay away from. And many of these businesses are run by poor Nigerians. And you do so likely because you don't trust the quality of their products or you are too afraid of the potential health repercussions of patronizing their wares. I don't visit any roadside bukaterias, buy pure water from street vendors, or even stay close to the slums when I am in Nigeria. That is me and I know a lot of others who do the same. I prefer to buy and eat in more established places or at least where I feel the most at ease and these places are typically run by the rich. So, again, this tax-break of yours which will end up extended majorly to companies run majorly by the rich will benefit the over 120 million Nigerians who are living in poverty situations how? undecided

2. Tried and tested in a place that is like Nigeria or a place that is absolutely nothing like Nigeria is today? undecided

➜Tax breaks incentives stimulate revenue generation when done properly. Thus stimulating the economy. If done over a few years.....you can slowly cut back on the tax breaks.
Your suggestion is that these Tax breaks be extended only to companies that serve visiting Nigerians— many of them probably owned and patronized by rich Nigerians—, ignoring the many other companies and businesses that the local Nigerians depend on and benefit from. That is how you properly stimulate the Nigerian economy? huh

➜You have a poverty mentality.....lol. The government can give the travelers vouchers. These vouchers can be redeemed in Nigerian businesses, hotels, restaurants, real estate any major purchase. The owners of these businesses can use it as tax credits to pay the government for taxes. Nobody is given physical cash. Learn to think outside the box....its okay to be broke, but don't have a poverty mentality, because even if you see an opportunity you wont recognize it.
Suggesting the extension of a limited tax break only to those companies patronized by visiting Nigerians is how you keep from not having this poverty mentality? huh

FamilyRe: A Major Red Flag Before Marriage That Most Love To Ignore - by Kobojunkie: 11:59pm On Nov 30, 2024
Moresalt:
➜I've come across too many believers online crying about their marriages, especially men who are seemingly interested in pleasing God. One of the huge red flags people don't deal with between themselves is keeping "close" friends of the opposite sex (as buddies; as in: as a man you have "close" female friends). That will most likely lead to emotional cheating sooner or later. And emotional cheating is like an early stage of infidelity and then divorce. I think many are always offended by this fact but it's very true. Above all, put Jesus first in all things. Repent, love him above all, obey him according to the new testament. He says he will honour, those who honour Him. And for those who are already in any type of mess, pray, repent, obey Jesus and then Have faith in God. He can do all things.
God bless
You believers no dey like talk true as per wetin dey do una. Believers dey cheat at the same rate and in many of the same ways that those outside of that circle do. What does that tell you of your claim to be a believer then? It should tell you that there are no advantages except for the ones you imagine in your mind. undecided

➜I have this aunt who I recently started living with the family at Aba as a result of some life situations. Mind you, I’m an 18 years old boy. It’s months now and all I do basically is the domestic chores and cooking most times. My aunt isn’t making any effort to fix me up somewhere. A few job opportunities I managed to secure for myself where discouraged by her. I barely have time to go out on job hunting due to the heavy workload she gives me on daily basis and when I object, it becomes a big problem. I have repeatedly shared with her my concern to go back to school and possibly move into my own apartment, and these can’t really work out if I don’t have any tangible source of livelihood. Yet she sees no sense in what I say.
➜My 19th birthday is fast approaching, and I don’t have anything to hold unto. Seriously, I am fed up with this life pattern, and I do wish to take the bull by the horn this time. Please note, she doesn’t starve me, nor abusive me physically. However, the manners in which she talks and treats me most times make me feel like a stranger who isn’t welcome anymore. That attitude of her is really messing with my psychological wellbeing and I can’t deal with it anymore. Frankly, if I have my way, I would have left her house long time ago. But as it is now, I have nowhere or anyone who is comfortable enough to accept me into his/her home at the moment. I am tirelessly seeking for jobs that offer accommodation within and outside Aba but none is forth coming. What should I do at this juncture?
1. Where are your parents in all of this and what have they advised you to do, assuming you have informed them of your plan and of how your aunt discourages you from pursuing the few opportunities you say you have found? undecided

2. Help us with more information. undecided
➜What are the reasons your aunt has given you so far? Why does she prefer to sit back and wait rather than act now for yourself? You didn't tell us any of this.
➜ Does your aunt know and understand you wish to head back to school and are looking to work to pay the fees yourself?
➜ You need to sit down and talk eye to eye with your aunt so she comes to see that you are at that age where sitting back doing nothing is not working for you. I don't know how old she is but she needs to come to an understanding of this and only you can make her see this. undecided

➜The Coordinator of the Heart of Love Foundation, Pastor Tunde Obokhai, highlighted its achievements in fostering financial independence, spiritual growth, and renewed purpose among the elderly.
He said:
“We have empowered over 5,000 individuals through various initiatives, including skill acquisition programmes and material aid. The foundation has also played a crucial role in building a sense of community among the elderly by organising regular gatherings and activities, which provide opportunities for social interaction and emotional support.
“The impact of the Heart of Love Foundation has been profound. Many elderly individuals have shared testimonies of gratitude, describing how the support they received has helped them overcome challenges, improve their health, and live with dignity.”
As the foundation continues to expand its reach, it remains committed to its mission of empowering the elderly and making a positive difference in their lives.
The church empowered them— because they attend RCCG — by registering them to receive regular food aid from the established Food Bank programs that are in South Africa? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

You can immediately tell those who didn't read the story well.
Abbeyme:
Rebecca Foulkes, representing the boy’s father, mentioned that social workers had reported issues in managing the boy’s behaviour before he left the UK.
They noted instances of physical aggression from the mother when trying to manage his behaviour.
Foulkes also shared that the boy had frequently been late to class, stayed out late, and had been suspected of engaging in criminal activities. The school had concerns about his social vulnerability and had observed him with expensive clothes and phones, while his phone contained pictures of knives and friends holding knives. Foulkes stated that from the father’s perspective, there had been a clear deterioration in the boy’s behaviour, leaning toward criminal activities. She argued that the boy’s parents had “real concerns about where he was and who he was with.”
Foulkes further stated that, in her view, “high-quality care and education in a boundary setting” was available in Africa, where the risks the boy faced in the UK were not present. She believed that the boy’s potential would be wasted if he were to return to the UK.
The court also heard that the parents’ decision should be respected, as it was made in their son’s best interest, even if it did not align with his wishes.
The hearing before Mr. Justice Hayden is set to continue at a later date.
The boy's parents rather than send him to a correctional center chose to send him to Africa, as though Africa is some sort of dumping ground for kids with potentially criminal mindsets. If that boy ends up joining a cult(or maybe even heading one wherever he was deployed) it means the parents get to remain safe and removed from it all while all his victims in Africa end up the ones suffering. undecided

➜The boy na clown 🤡🤡 So I will consult pikin wey I dey feed before making the decision for him? What now makes him a minor?Europeans are digging a big grave for their civilization this time & they won't recover
Yes, the parents ought to have consulted with the boy before shipping him off to a foreign land, after all, he is a citizen just as they ar,e and by law, no citizen has the right to force a situation on another. Second, the boy is better off back in the UK where the system is better equipped to handle potential criminal elements such as he is described by his parents. Africa does not need any more criminal elements. undecided
