Also, my status on GCC is still the same......what's happening now.....
Me I have moved on since I got the reject mail last month ......now this is popping up..... They shouldn't toil with our emotions oh. |

Yayaadu: Hello,
I completed my registration while I was sleepy, made a typo in my other name (third name). The letter “d” was missing.
Send support an email since last week but no response from them.
If luckily I get shortlisted, and the typo isn’t correct, will that get me disqualified during screening?
I applied for SSC
Thank you Check the army website and call their support number...... But why sleep while registering?

Now you see how I feel when I see such kind of questions......but I like to have fun with such kind of people when they ask such kind of questions. Well am just watching, hopefully someone asks if a pregnant lady can apply and go for training while still being pregnant **Currently an observer |

KennethNnolim: I'm also interested in the BMI issue here. I read here that some candidates was called back alongside mama Taraba last January after BMI issues. Please anyone with more information on that? This is the general format bro. BMI = your weight (kg) / the square of your height (m) BMI = kg/m² For most adults, an ideal BMI is in the 18.5 to 24.9 range. If your BMI is: below 18.5 – you're in the underweight range between 18.5 and 24.9 – you're in the healthy weight range between 25 and 29.9 – you're in the overweight range between 30 and 39.9 – you're in the obese range Now, with the above....am sure you can know your BMI bro.... But the issue here is this, we don't really know if the army have their own specific standard which they follow or they follow the general standard. To be on the safe side bro....just stay within the range of 18.5 -29.9 . Kindly note that your BMI is significant to your age as well ....not sure if that would be put in consideration by the army |

Prudent5217: @Major555 Please do well to read the origin that warranted the exchange of words. Irrespective of questions and answers it’s wrong for an adult to reply someone else by insulting their families. I saw his question and passed by but the insult to KODACK’s Family is uncalled for. Next time do well to address the genesis of a problem.
Peace Let it slide bro......the insult no touch my family....they were mere words....... I wish the guy actually have time to meet my friends....... He would make the 7 o'clock news as the person who jumped over the 3rd mainland bridge due to sarcastic trauma |

Mayor555: KODACK and prudent5217 please be guided, no question is stupid.... Asking questions doesn't mean they don't know the answer, but want to be very sure.
I believe you must've scared alot of people away, to prevent bashing and insult on their personities, thereby failing the purpose of the thread.
To me, referring people to read the whole thread is not fair, reason being that, not everyone have the luxury of time.
If a question seems stupid to you, you can just ignore, it's not rocket science.
The purpose of the thread is to help each other, not make enemies.
Always strive to make friends not enemies..... Take a cue from mrsuama.
Peace. I get your point. Don't use the phrase "be guided" anyhow again ......cos it's only used for people who go astray, which I'm sure am not...... Oga, when you want something.....you go extra mile to get it......I have read through page 1 to current page cos I don't wanna go amiss while applying..... I read all the drama and fun. And I have asked only one question here cos it was never discussed, ever .... Which is "what's the BMI range in the army?"...... cos the army range might be different from the general medical range, and note...it wasn't part of the registration, it was for me to prepare for the task ahead........ Those are the kind of questions we want to hear. We wanna hear questions pertaining screening, chawusing, fun, race, and so more......not about the registration......cos a thousand answers have been given to even unasked questions. I really don't mean to rubbish anyone's personality.....am just having fun........ Just feel free to express yourself and ask questions...... Love you all. |

MrSuama: I left the group last year but I will try and make contacts. It will interest you to know that the group had three arms, namely A. Gallant Officers Forum B. Council of elders(comprising of all the admins, whose duties were adding of new members and court-martialing of erring members just to mention but a few) C. Guardroom ( erring members are removed from the main forum and placed in the guard room until council of elders see signs of remorse and probably an apology) It will surprise you that almost all erring members that made the guardroom at one time or the other are all commissioned officers today. But me the ever dedicated admin is still applying, irony of life. This actually cracked my ribs E be like say I go soon purge due to laff |

MrSuama: Even if I don't make the list this time around, I will give myself a civil commission to the rank of a Major in my room. I will give my mum the honour of hanging the pip because she has done everything possible to make me a successful officer. Forever a soldier at heart commissioned or not. Funny but heart felt..... God will see us through |
